Outdoor dining is here to stay with many restaurants, winterizing setups to prepare for the cold. I I still can't wrap my head around outdoor dining.

I know people love it. My girlfriend loves it, but I can't justify paying $50 to eat linguine in the bus lane. Just not for me. You know, 50% of when you used to go out to dinner was for the ambiance, you know, for the ambiance. I think I I think it was right the first time, ambiance.

But now people people don't care. They walk right up to the host every night. Like, excuse me. Do you do you have any space available in the little pig pen that looks like it's about to fall on top of me? No.

It's it's fully booked. Yeah. What about by the trash? Anything by the forty five minutes? Yeah.

Yeah. We can wait forty five minutes for the trash. We'll go get a drink down the street at the construction site. Anyhoo. And by winterizing, they mean they're gonna put up a sheet of tinfoil over the over the window in the little setup.

They stick 50 people in there, and they have one $20 heater from Amazon. You know? Maybe it's good that they buy their trash. You know? So when you freeze to death eating your sweet potato fries, they can just throw you out in the trash.
