这个节日主题有点丧。我不知道...我女朋友总说要花更多优质时间相处。我告诉她，过去两年疫情我们他妈的全在干这个，但显然一起看电视——哪怕是精彩的好剧——在她眼里不算优质相处时间。我解释说我和以前的室友们、兄弟们一直都是这样共度时光的。

Sort of a downer of the holiday. I don't know. I know, you know, my girlfriend, has expressed a desire to spend a little more quality time together. I told her, you know, that's all that we've fucking done for the past two years since COVID, but evidently watching TV, even if it's great TV, powerful TV, is not spending quality time together. I did I told her that's how I've always spent quality time, you know, with my previous roommates, you know, my boys.

不过她确实有个好论点。她突然问我：'你哪个朋友是做什么工作的？' 我...我现在也答不上来。

And then she she did have a good point. She hit me with this. She asked me, okay. What do any of your friends do for work? And I I I mean, I I have nothing even now.

我根本说不出任何一个朋友的具体职业。最多能想到些宽泛领域比如金融，但那就像三年级小学生的描述水平。她发现突破口后就穷追不舍。

I couldn't tell you what one of my friends does for work. You know? I can't even I can think of, like, broad topics like finance, but that's, like, you know, how a third grader would describe it. I think she she found a little opening there. She kept digging.

她接着问：'那你父母做什么工作总知道吧？' 我说：'好像是和会议相关的工作？' 她又问：'你生命中真的了解任何人吗？' 我只能求饶：'别问了...'

She was like, do you even know your parents do for work? I was like, I think something with conferences. It has conferences. And she was like, do you know anybody in your life? And I was like, please stop.

我们直接约会去吧。去旅行也行。随便什么都好。

Let's just let's go on a date. Let's go. Let's spend let's go on a vacation. You know? Anything.
