What you're doing is well, it plays up to seven players, need at least three, and you have a deck.

I think a deck goes from the lowest number is three, the highest number is, like, 35.

Depending on player count, you take out a few of these cards, stash them back in the box.

So you can't count the cards.

You get a certain number of these chips to start with or stones, little stones from the western faces of the Himalayas, which are beautiful.

Well, next game on my list is sitting at a 1.49 weight, and that is king of Tokyo.

And now a couple of these games I'm talking about, they're a little bit older, and maybe that fits just because that's when I was starting to get into the hobby, more likely to be playing family weight games, but these are still some games that I love.

I think this game is still fantastic.

It's very easy to play.

It's got Yahtzee style dice rolling with combat, but the idea being that every player is playing a big kaiju type monster, a Godzilla type of monster, King Kong, or something like that.

And there's a map of Tokyo in the middle of the board, and toke and right in the middle is Tokyo.

And so whoever is in Tokyo, when they roll these dice, they're gonna roll something like, if it's a claw, that means it's gonna do damage.

And so the it's a little bit of a push your luck game also, but the idea being that, yes, you are messing with the other players all the time.

I'm getting a little bit heavier in weight here for my last two, but I think still very good family games or at least have been in my experience.

The first is is mildly kind of cheat, and that's because it's really a series of games.

So what I'm talking about here is escape room in a box style games.

There's a couple really popular series.

One is the unlock series, and one is the exit series.

They're kinda different, but they they do the same thing.

Now this is a little bit simple.

After But playing a lot of them, what I like about the unlock series, and I think is a family style game especially, is that there's always a pretty clear path.

You know you're not committed for more than an hour, so it's like a set amount of time.

You're trying to beat all the puzzles and get out before the timer runs out.

And, if you don't, typically, you're gonna get a good way through it and get get to enjoy a lot of puzzles with it.

There are fun themes on them, and it can be very varied.

My favorite is the, the island of doctor Gorse, which was really cool because we played it four player.
