嘿,你好。

Hey there.

Speaker 0

欢迎来到桌游热点讨论。

Welcome to board game hot takes.

Speaker 0

我叫蒂姆。

My name's Tim.

Speaker 1

这位是克里斯。

And this is Chris.

Speaker 2

这位是亚当。

This is Adam.

Speaker 0

今天我们要讨论的是我们最喜欢的五款家庭游戏。

And today, we're gonna be talking about our top five family games.

Speaker 0

这个话题是由我们的Patreon支持者以及上周投票选出的。

This topic was voted on by our Patreon supporters as well as last week.

Speaker 0

所以如果你有兴趣参与决定我们节目的讨论内容,欢迎加入我们的Patreon页面patreon.com/boardgamehottakes,每个支持等级都可以参与投票。

So if you're interested in having a say in what we talk about, what, what we cover on the show, join us over at patreon.com/boardgamehottakes, and every supporter level can have a vote there.

Speaker 0

我们有很多有趣的选题可选,但本周大家都选择了这个话题。

We have some fun topics to to pick from, but this is one that everybody went with this week.

Speaker 0

我觉得时机很合适。

It's a good timing, I think.

Speaker 0

假期即将来临。

The holidays are coming up.

Speaker 0

你可能会考虑在家庭聚会上玩些什么,或者为家人寻找礼物灵感,这些通常不是你平时会想到的游戏类型。

You're thinking about things you're gonna be doing at a family gathering or looking for gift ideas for family members that you're not normally thinking of this type of game.

Speaker 0

希望这些建议对你有所帮助。

Hopefully, is somewhat helpful for you.

Speaker 0

其实我对这个话题的时机感到兴奋,因为上周感恩节时我的家人刚好来城里。

I was actually excited about the timing of this topic because my, family was just in town for Thanksgiving last week.

Speaker 0

我们聚在了一起。

We got together.

Speaker 0

我的父母和弟弟都来了城里,我14岁的女儿也决定加入我们的欢乐时光,和我们一起玩了几款游戏。

It was my parents and my brother came in town, and my 14 year old daughter decided that she wanted to be a part of the revelry as well and joined us in for some games.

Speaker 0

这其实挺酷的,因为我特意挑选了几款能让桌上每个人都喜欢的游戏。

And so it was kinda cool because I tried to pull out a bunch of games that would hit for everybody at the table.

Speaker 0

虽然我觉得它们都算家庭游戏,但有趣的是有几款彻底失败了。

And although I think they all classified as family games, it was interesting to see how a couple just flopped.

Speaker 0

根本没人喜欢玩,尽管我原以为会是很棒的家庭游戏。

Nobody really enjoyed them even though I would have thought they were great family games.

Speaker 0

而有些游戏则大受欢迎,他们甚至要求再玩一次。

And then some that just hit really well, and and they were asking for repeats of them.

Speaker 0

所以我对家庭游戏的分类标准是这样的,很期待听听你们的想法。

So the classifications that I use for family games, and I'm excited to hear what you guys have to think.

Speaker 2

Tim,我得说《伟大的洛伦佐》可不是家庭游戏。

Tim, I just wanna say Lorenzo il Magnifico is not a family game.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Alright?

Speaker 2

绝对不是

Not one

Speaker 1

你想休息一下。

you wanna break out.

Speaker 0

我,呃,是的。

I I yeah.

Speaker 0

说得好。

Good call.

Speaker 0

说得好,亚当。

Good call, Adam.

Speaker 1

嘿,蒂姆。

Hey, Tim.

Speaker 1

你提到我们让Patreon支持者投票决定要讨论的话题,但实际上,我相信这个话题就是一位Patreon支持者建议的。

You mentioned that we let our Patreon supporters vote on the topics we're gonna cover, but actually, I do believe that this topic was suggested by a Patreon supporter.

Speaker 1

虽然我手头没有具体记录是谁提出的,但无论你是谁,欢迎在社交媒体上举手领取你的荣誉,感谢你提出了一个很棒的话题,尤其是在这个时节。

So I don't have notes in front of me as to who that actually was specifically, but whoever you are, feel free to raise your hand and take your kudos on social medias and thank you for suggesting a great topic, especially for this time of year.

Speaker 0

大家都听到了吧。

You heard it here, folks.

Speaker 0

基本上,Patreon支持者现在在主导节目内容了。

Basically, Patreon supporters are now producing the show.

Speaker 0

我都不用再做什么工作了。

I don't have to do any more work.

Speaker 0

他们他们在挑选话题。

They're they're picking the topics.

Speaker 0

他们在提议话题。

They're suggesting topics.

Speaker 0

太棒了。

It's awesome.

Speaker 0

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 0

那么,我们来聊聊五大家庭游戏以及家庭游戏对我们的意义。

Well, let's talk about top five family games and what family games mean to us.

Speaker 0

现在Board Game Geek上有一个家庭游戏分类,你可以去查看任何被评级的游戏,它们可能会被归类为抽象游戏、家庭游戏或主题游戏。

Now Board Game Geek has a category called family games, so you can go and look at any game that's rated there, and it it may be categorized as, like, abstract game or family game or thematic game.

Speaker 0

但确实有大量游戏被归类为家庭游戏。

But there's a there's a large group of games that are listed as family games.

Speaker 0

我的定义与他们列出的不太一致,不过那里确实有个不错的列表。

My definition doesn't quite match up with what they got listed there, but there's a pretty nice list.

Speaker 0

所以如果你只是想找些不同的选择,去看看也无妨。

So if you're just looking for a variety, it doesn't hurt to go check that out.

Speaker 0

对我来说,想到家庭游戏时,我指的是那些能与老式传统家庭游戏相媲美的游戏——就是我们小时候常玩的那种。

Now for me, when I think of family games, I was thinking of things that are kind of competition with the old school traditional family games that we used to play growing up.

Speaker 0

比如大富翁、强手棋,甚至多米诺骨牌、妙探寻凶这类游戏。

Monopoly, Percheesy, even games like Domino's, Clue.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

这些才是家庭游戏。

Those are family games.

Speaker 0

是那种能让全家人围坐在桌边一起玩的游戏。

They're games that everybody's had at the table.

Speaker 0

你和爸爸妈妈,也许还有孩子们聚在一起。

You get together with mom and dad, with the kids maybe.

Speaker 0

也许你是和成年朋友聚会。

Maybe you're getting together with adult friends.

Speaker 0

也许你是和祖父母团聚。

Maybe you're getting together with the grandparents.

Speaker 0

关键是,这些游戏真的适合任何人玩。

The bottom line, these games can really be played by anybody.

Speaker 0

我真的,你知道,尽量挑选了一些我认为无论是成年人,甚至是游戏爱好者,都会乐意与家人分享的游戏。

I really, you know, try to pick some things that I thought that both adults, even hobbyists, would have a good time sharing with their family members.

Speaker 0

而且不一定非得是有孩子在场的场合。

And it doesn't have to be when you've got kids at the table.

Speaker 0

可能是你的姻亲要来,你哥哥和他妻子要来,或者你的叔叔阿姨在圣诞节来访,你想找点事情一起做。

It could be your your in laws are coming over, your brother and his wife are coming over, your, you know, your aunt and uncle are are visiting on Christmas and you wanna get together with something.

Speaker 0

所以我的定义显然涵盖了各种不同类型的家庭。

So my definition is definitely broadly related to families of all different types.

Speaker 0

我采用了几条标准,这些标准我认为适用,并且发现在我向非典型桌游爱好者介绍游戏时,无论他们在家庭中扮演什么角色,都能很好地引起各种人群的共鸣。

There are a couple things that I use as criteria that I think fits and and I found has hit well with a variety of people when I'm introducing games to people that aren't typical hobby gamers regardless of where they fit into your family.

Speaker 0

规则相对容易上手的游戏。

Games that are fairly easy to learn.

Speaker 0

这些人大多不愿长时间听规则讲解,否则他们会眼神呆滞。

A lot of these folks do not wanna sit through a long rules teach and their eyes glaze over.

Speaker 0

决策空间不大——这是我反复验证过的。

Not much decision space, which is something I found over and over again.

Speaker 0

人们在休闲时不愿费神思考。

People do not wanna think hard when they're just casual.

Speaker 0

你知道的,他们就是图个轻松。

You know, like, they're casual.

Speaker 0

他们来就是为了找个活动消遣。

They're there for an activity to do.

Speaker 0

没错。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

在某些情况下,几乎没有任何决策空间。

In some cases, almost no decision space.

Speaker 0

它仍然可以很有趣,但不要给他们艰难的选择或太多的选择。

It can still be fun, but don't give them tough choices or lots of choices to make.

Speaker 0

你知道,显然,能创造有趣时刻和回忆的游戏。

You know, obviously, games that create fun moments and memories.

Speaker 0

我尽量选择那些不太刻薄的游戏,因为我确实见过一些游戏,比如带有'攻击性'或针对特定玩家的机制,可能会在家庭餐桌上引发不快,无论是尚未理解体育精神的孩子,还是你勉强相处的姻亲。

I try to stick to things that are not too mean because I've definitely seen games that have, like, take that or that can be targeted at certain players can lead to bad feelings around a family table, whether it's kids that just haven't kind of adopted this the ideas of sportsmanship or just, you know, like in laws that you're just barely getting along with.

Speaker 0

你不想让情况变得更糟。

You don't wanna make it any worse.

Speaker 0

然后我也会选择那些适合四人或更多玩家参与的游戏,因为这样能适应各种规模的团体。

And then I also pick games that all played with four or more people because that kinda suits groups of all sizes.

Speaker 0

这显然不是必要的。

That's not necessary, obviously.

Speaker 0

你可以和家人一起玩些规模较小的游戏。

You can play with family members, smaller sized games.

Speaker 0

但我尽量保持通用性,这样我挑选的所有游戏都能适合几乎任何聚会群体。

But I try to keep this general so that all the games I picked would really fit for pretty much any any group you're getting together with.

Speaker 2

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

家庭游戏这个标题可以涵盖很广泛的标准范围。

There's a it's a broad range of criteria that can be encompassed by the title family game.

Speaker 2

所以我尝试做了类似的选择,蒂姆。

So I tried to do something similar, Tim.

Speaker 2

我考虑的是玩家范围,比如从三人、两人,甚至最低两人起。

I thought, you know, a range of players from, like, three, two, or as low as two.

Speaker 2

希望至少有一位家庭成员参与,最多我认为其中一些游戏可达六到七人,甚至更多。

Hopefully, you have at least one family member, and then up to, I think, six or seven on some of these, maybe more.

Speaker 2

而我选择的游戏最低最高人数是四人。

And then the minimum maximum on my games was four.

Speaker 2

至少有一款游戏最多只能四人参与。

There's at least one game that only plays up to four.

Speaker 2

不过总的来说,我清单上的游戏确实是人数越多越好。

But, yeah, the bigger, the better in general for the games on my list here.

Speaker 2

审视这些游戏并思考什么适合家庭场景是件很有趣的事。

It was interesting to kinda look at these games and pick and think, you know, what would work in a family setting.

Speaker 2

在筛选这些游戏时,确实出现了很多微妙的考量点。

So a lot of nuances that come up when I was examining these games for this list.

Speaker 1

我觉得你们说的都很有道理。

Well, I think what you guys said makes a lot of sense.

Speaker 1

而且你们对家庭游戏的定义和我列出的清单有很多重合之处。

And I there's a lot of overlap between your kind of zeitgeist of, you know, what makes a family game versus what I put down there.

Speaker 1

所以我想补充的是,家庭游戏还有另一个层面。

So I think all I'll add is there is also an element of family gaming.

Speaker 1

我觉得这种东西就是那种'一见便知'的存在。

I think that is very much a you know it when you see it.

Speaker 1

具体来说就是那些能吸引儿童的元素——无论是游戏美术、主题设定、规则互动方式还是玩家互动模式——这些特质天然对年轻玩家或非硬核玩家更具吸引力,毕竟我们讨论的是家庭游戏。

And that is that there are things that are appealing to children and that could be whether it's something related to the art in the game or whether it's something related to the theme or the way that rules interact with each other or the players interact with each other, that just kinda comes across as more attractive for a younger audience or a, you know, an audience that is not heavy gamers, mostly younger people is what I'm thinking in this one because we were specifically asked about family games.

Speaker 1

话虽如此,我并不想把任何连桌游爱好者都不会感兴趣的游戏列入这个清单。

Now that said, I didn't want to put any games on this list that a hobby gamer would not be excited to play or interested in.

Speaker 0

同样地

Same with

Speaker 1

我认为它们全都符合这个标准,因为说到底,我们都希望能和年轻人一起玩我们自己也喜欢的游戏。

I think all of them also meet that criteria because, you know, ultimately, I think what we all really want is to play games with our young people that we enjoy as well.

Speaker 1

而且我在心里列这个清单时也意识到,家庭类型多种多样,年轻玩家群体也各不相同。

And I also kind of acknowledged when I was doing my list here in my own head that there are a lot of different kinds of families and there's a lot of different kinds of young gamers.

Speaker 1

有些年轻玩家喜欢非常简单的游戏,而有些则能玩相当复杂的游戏。

And some young gamers like stuff really simple, and some of them are capable of playing some pretty complex games.

Speaker 1

所以我整理清单的方式是,先根据我刚才提到的规则筛选出一大批游戏,但不同于将它们从一到五或五到一排序,我是按复杂度排列的——从最简单的游戏开始,逐步过渡到最复杂的游戏。毕竟最终每个人的口味都不同。

So the way I oriented my list was I came up with a pretty big swath meeting the kind of rules that I was talking about a minute ago, but also instead of ranking them like one to five or five to one, I ranked them by their complexity, starting with the least complex games and moving up toward the most complex games because, you know, ultimately, everybody's gonna have their own taste.

Speaker 1

我认为在做这种决定时,更应讨论比讨论相对客观的复杂性标准,而非个人喜好。

And I think it's more important to talk about kind of like the this relatively objective standard of complexity when making a decision like this rather than, you know, Chris's personal opinion of a game.

Speaker 1

这就是我列清单的方式。

So, that's how I did my list.

Speaker 0

嗯。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

有道理,克里斯。

That makes sense, Chris.

Speaker 0

事实上,我也要调整顺序,从最低复杂度到最高。

And in fact, I'm gonna swap up my order to go along with, lowest complexity to highest.

Speaker 0

我觉得这个主意很棒。

I think that's a really good idea.

Speaker 2

我也是。

Me too.

Speaker 2

我也是。

Me too.

Speaker 0

再次强调,克里斯多次提到和年轻人或孩子一起玩。

So, again and well, Chris mentioned several times playing with younger ones or kids.

Speaker 0

我的清单不一定遵循这点,但它同样适用于有孩子的家庭,我也愿意和孩子一起玩。

My list doesn't necessarily follow that, but it will apply for families with kids as well, and I would play with kids.

Speaker 0

我之所以选择7到8岁这个年龄段,是因为至少在我家,这个年纪的女儿已经能真正参与进来,自己做决定,并且能愉快地玩这类复杂度的游戏,不需要手把手指导。

And I I kinda picked an age range of, like, minimum of, like, seven to eight because at least in my family, that's when I realized my daughter could really get involved, make decisions on her own, and have a good time playing any game of this type of weight, without being direct.

Speaker 0

我不想局限于那些需要大量协助的低龄儿童游戏。

I didn't wanna try to stick with things that would play with, like, really little kids that really need a lot of help.

Speaker 0

那我们开始吧。

So let's kick it off.

Speaker 0

我先从第一名开始介绍。

So I'm gonna start with my number one.

Speaker 0

这款游戏我们过去几年里讨论得挺多的。

Now this is a game that we have talked about a decent amount in the last couple years.

Speaker 0

虽然是我清单上最新加入的游戏,但恰好是复杂度最低的。

It's the newest one on my list, but it happens to be the lowest weight.

Speaker 0

它的复杂度评分是1.04,这就是《翻转七》。

It's sitting at a weight of one point zero four, and this is flip seven.

Speaker 0

在我的所有游戏清单中,我特意加入了一款符合小盒卡牌游戏类别的作品。

Out of all the games on my list, I added one that kinda fits into the small box card game category.

Speaker 0

我们从小都玩过这类游戏。

We all grew up with games like this.

Speaker 0

我小时候玩的是UNO或者阶段十。

I I was playing UNO or phase 10.

Speaker 0

最近,翻七游戏在我教过的所有人中都大受欢迎,而且可以和孩子们一起玩。

And recently, flip seven has just been the biggest hit for everybody I've taught it to, and it can be with kids at the table.

Speaker 0

也可以和爷爷奶奶一起玩。

It can be grandparents.

Speaker 0

基本上所有人都能玩这个游戏。

It could be just about everybody will play this game.

Speaker 0

所以我认为它依然是一款很棒的家庭游戏。

So I think it makes a great family game still.

Speaker 0

它很容易买到。

It's easy to find.

Speaker 0

你可以在任何大型商店的货架上找到它。

You can find it in any big box store shelf.

Speaker 0

大概10美元左右,最多不超过10.15美元。

It's $10 or something like that, $10.15 bucks at the max.

Speaker 0

所以很容易就能上手玩。

So it's easy to get to the table.

Speaker 0

教这个游戏大概只需要三十秒。

It takes about thirty seconds to teach the game.

Speaker 0

游戏规则提醒一下,是这样玩的。

Games, just just as a reminder, it works like this.

Speaker 0

每个人都会从这副牌中分到一张牌。

Everybody has a card dealt to them from this deck of cards.

Speaker 0

我记得牌的数字是从1到...

I think the cards go from one to god.

Speaker 0

我现在应该记住这个了。

I should remember this by now.

Speaker 0

我想是从1到12。

I think it's one to, 12.

Speaker 0

基本上,牌堆里有一张1,两张2,三张3,依此类推,直到十二张12。

Essentially, there's one one in the dock, two twos, three threes, etcetera, all the way up to 12 twelves.

Speaker 0

所以每个人都会发到一张牌。

So everybody gets dealt one card.

Speaker 0

然后大家轮流选择是否要再拿一张牌。

And then around the table, they can choose whether they want another card.

Speaker 0

你可以说要牌(hit)或者选择跳过(pass)。

So you say hit or if they wanna pass.

Speaker 0

这有点像是赌运气的游戏,因为如果你选择要牌,而新拿到的牌与你已有的牌数字相同,你就爆牌了。

And it's a little bit of a push your luck game because if you hit and you get another card that matches one of the cards you already have up, then you bust.

Speaker 0

这一轮你就得不到任何分数。

You get no points for that turn.

Speaker 0

但如果你最终选择跳过,你将获得所有展示牌面数字的总分。

But, otherwise, when you eventually do pass, you're gonna end up with the number of points equal to all the face cards that you have showing.

Speaker 0

还有几张特殊牌会触发额外效果。

There are a couple special cards that will do extra effects.

Speaker 0

非常容易解释。

Very easy to explain.

Speaker 0

通常来说,我刚才教你的方式,就是我教这个游戏的方法。

And, typically, what I've already taught you, that's how I teach the game.

Speaker 0

然后当那些特殊卡牌出现时,我会解释你能用它们做什么,可以做出哪些选择。

And then as those other cards come up, I explain what you can do with them, what choices you can make.

Speaker 0

比如冻结对手,或者强制某人必须翻开三张牌而不能选择之类的玩法。

Things like freezing an opponent or choosing who has to flip three cards without making a choice about it, things like that.

Speaker 0

所以这个游戏真的很容易教。

So really simple game to teach.

Speaker 0

大家都玩得很开心。

Everybody has a blast with it.

Speaker 0

每次都会连续玩好几轮。

It always gets played back to back.

Speaker 0

我认为这是个很棒的家庭游戏。

I think this is a great family game.

Speaker 1

老兄,我想知道是谁允许这款游戏这么有趣的。

Dude, I wanna know who gave this game permission to be so much fun.

Speaker 1

我是说,它太简单了。

I mean, it's so simple.

Speaker 1

卡片上甚至没什么好看的,啥都没有。

There's, like, nothing fun to look at on the cards or anything.

Speaker 1

看起来应该很平淡,但玩起来却让几乎所有人都觉得超有趣。

It's it seems like it'd be so bland, and yet it is just so much fun to play for pretty much everybody.

Speaker 2

蒂姆,这是你感恩节拿出来的游戏之一吗?大家反响好吗?

Tim, was this one of ones you brought out at Thanksgiving, and did it go over well?

Speaker 0

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

绝对的。

Absolutely.

Speaker 0

而且我告诉你,没错,它确实出现在感恩节聚会上。

And and I I'm telling you, yes, it it went out to Thanksgiving.

Speaker 0

我女儿玩得很开心。

My daughter was having fun with it.

Speaker 0

当然还有我父母。

My parents, of course.

Speaker 0

但我还教过休闲玩家玩这个。

But I have taught this to casual gamers.

Speaker 0

我和喜欢它的桌游爱好者一起玩过。

I played it with hobby gamers that love it.

Speaker 0

甚至和几乎不玩任何游戏的老人家一起玩过。

I've played it with old folks that will barely play any games at all.

Speaker 0

他们根本不想动脑子。

They don't wanna think about anything.

Speaker 0

我还和相当年幼的孩子玩过,因为每回合你只需要做两个选择,而且几乎可以无限进行。

I played it with fairly young kids because all you have you have two choices to make on your turn, almost indefinitely.

Speaker 0

选择就是:我要继续还是放弃?

It's do I hit or do I pass?

Speaker 0

更有趣的是,即使是那些非常冒险的人,比如可能还不懂风险或概率的孩子,也可能因为运气好而表现得很出色。

And the fun thing about it too is that even people who are super risky, maybe kids that don't understand the risk or the odds of it, can get lucky and still do really well.

Speaker 0

或者那些非常谨慎的人,他们可能仅仅因为没人出局就表现得很好。

Or people that are really cautious, they may do well just because nobody busts.

Speaker 0

所以无论大家如何思考他们要做出的选择,每个人都有机会赢得这个游戏。

So it's like everybody has a chance at winning this no matter how much they think about the choices they get to make.

Speaker 0

很棒的选择。

Great choice.

Speaker 2

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

都是很棒的选择。

Great choices.

Speaker 2

我特别想提一下,我记得是Dano大约一年前在达拉斯的Board Game Geek Con上介绍给我们的,现在刚好一年多一点儿。

One of my honorable mentions, I think it was Dano that introduced it to us at Board Game Geek Con in Dallas almost a year ago now, just over a year ago now.

Speaker 2

确实如此。

So Yeah.

Speaker 2

感谢你向我们介绍这个游戏。

Thanks for introducing that to us.

Speaker 2

它在桌游界已经火起来了。

It's taken off in the board game world.

Speaker 2

每个人都在玩这个。

Everybody's playing this one.

Speaker 2

翻七张,多么棒的选择。

Flip seven, what a great choice.

Speaker 2

对我来说第一个要介绍的是,我想这可能是蒂姆带到大熊镇的游戏。

Up first for me, this is a game I think Tim brought to Big Bear perhaps.

Speaker 2

这就是《骷髅会》。

This is Skull.

Speaker 2

这是一款虚张声势的游戏。

It's a bluffing game.

Speaker 2

基本上,你从这些杯垫开始。

Basically, you start with these, they're coasters.

Speaker 2

本质上,你们只是在用一堆装饰精美的亡灵节风格杯垫玩游戏。

You're just playing with a bunch of beautifully decorated Dia de los Muertos style coasters essentially.

Speaker 2

其中一个是方形的,然后我想你们还有四到五个圆形的,最多有六种不同玩家颜色可选。

One of them is square, and then I think you have four or five round ones that are in up to six different player colors.

Speaker 2

游戏开始时每人先放下一块杯垫,然后先手玩家决定是再叠放一个杯垫还是直接开始叫牌。

So everybody starts by putting a tile down and the first player then decides whether they're going to put another coaster on top or they can start by making a bid.

Speaker 2

玩家的目标是在翻到骷髅头之前找到花朵。假设五人游戏中,先手玩家决定冒险——

And what they want to do is find flowers before a skull turns up so say there's five people playing this game and that first player is feeling risky.

Speaker 2

他说'我赌能找到两朵花',下家若认为自己能找到三朵花就可以加注。

They say okay I'm going to bid two and then the next player can bid higher if they think they can find three flowers before turning up a skull.

Speaker 2

当所有人都放弃加注后,这个玩家就必须在翻到骷髅头前找出三朵花。

So so everybody passes, and now this player has to find three flowers before he turns up a skull.

Speaker 2

所以他们必须先从自己的杯垫开始翻。

So they have to start with their own tile first.

Speaker 2

我见过有人为了抬高赌注,结果自己放了骷髅头,最终翻到自己的骷髅而爆牌。

And I've seen it where somebody, know, is trying to just push the number up and they have actually played a skull and they bust on their own skull.

Speaker 2

哎呀,但你翻开第一张牌。

So whoopsie, but you turn over your first one.

Speaker 2

希望那是一朵花,然后你得再选两张,你要试着解读桌面,观察其他人的表情,看看谁那里有花,谁放了骷髅。

Hopefully, that's a flower, then you have to pick two more, you're trying to read the table, look at the each other's faces, who's got a flower in there, who's putting a skull down there.

Speaker 2

如果是克里斯,他每次都只放骷髅,所以你不想选他的牌。

If it's Chris, all he does is put his skull down there every time, so you don't wanna pick Chris's.

Speaker 2

如果你集齐三张,完成叫牌,就可以翻开你的方形杯垫,只需再完成一次叫牌就能赢得游戏。

If you get three, if you make your bid, you get to flip your square coaster over and you only have to make your bid one more time and then you win the game.

Speaker 2

如果你失败,翻到别人的骷髅,那就糟了,你要随机丢弃一个圆形杯垫回盒子里,现在你就少了一个杯垫。

If you bust, if you hit somebody's skull, uh-oh, you take your circular coasters, you randomly discard one of those back into the box and now you're one coaster down.

Speaker 2

所以你的处境,如果你只剩下两个杯垫,而且剩下的都是骷髅,那大家迟早会知道你手里有什么。

So your hose, if you know, if you're down to like two coasters and all you have left is your your skull, then everybody's gonna figure it out eventually what you have left.

Speaker 2

所以会有这种时刻:'天啊,我在这局游戏里已经没机会了'。

So you're there's this element of, oh, boy, I have no chance left in this game.

Speaker 2

所以我再次把它带到大型聚会和小型聚会中。

So I brought it out again in large groups, smaller groups.

Speaker 2

要知道,我觉得这款游戏在生日派对、游戏之夜或作为快速填充活动时,人越多越好。

You know, I think the larger the better with this game at birthday parties, game nights, quick filler.

Speaker 2

这又是那种难以界定的游戏——它算是派对游戏吗?

And this is again one of those ones, is it a party game?

Speaker 2

还是家庭游戏呢?

Is it a family game?

Speaker 2

它只在Board Game Geek上被列为派对游戏,排名第34位。

It's listed only on Board Game Geek as a party game, number 34 party game.

Speaker 2

但我认为它适用于各种场合。

But I think this works in all kinds of situations.

Speaker 2

我觉得即使是六七岁的小孩也能玩得转。

I think you can play with kids as young as, I don't know, six or seven and they'll get the hang of it.

Speaker 2

就像你刚才说的蒂姆,规则简单易懂,人们很快就能掌握要领,并在游戏过程中逐渐体会到其中的微妙之处和这种虚张声势、推波助澜的运气成分。

And it's easy to teach again, like you were saying, Tim, low rules overhead, and people start getting it and start seeing the nuances and this whole bluffing pusher luck type of element as the game goes on.

Speaker 2

游戏会变得越来越有趣。

It gets more and more fun.

Speaker 2

再来几杯酒会让这个游戏更有趣。

Couple drinks add to the funness of this one as well.

Speaker 2

那就是《骷髅会》。

That's skull.

Speaker 1

又一个绝佳选择。

Another great choice.

Speaker 1

这个游戏总是能带来欢乐,我觉得其中的虚张声势部分特别有趣。

This game is always a good time, and I the bluffing part of it, I think, is so much fun.

Speaker 1

我同意你的观点,亚当,尤其是孩子们有机会觉得自己有点小聪明。

And I agree with you, Adam, especially kids get a chance to feel a little bit clever.

Speaker 1

而且,我认为这会让任何人都感到开心,但对孩子们来说更是如此。

And, I think that kinda makes anybody happy, but even more so kids.

Speaker 0

你知道吗,有件有趣的事。

You know, here's a funny thing.

Speaker 0

我刚提到我办了个感恩节聚会。

I just mentioned that I did a Thanksgiving get together.

Speaker 0

我们当时有五个人,我拿出《骷髅会》时还以为会大受欢迎,我自己玩得挺开心的。

We had five people, and I brought Skull out thinking it was gonna be a huge hit with this group, and I was having fun with it.

Speaker 0

我觉得这游戏很棒,结果却彻底失败了。

I thought it was great, and it bombed.

Speaker 0

比如,我父母就不喜欢它。

Like, my parents didn't like it.

Speaker 0

我女儿也不喜欢。

My daughter didn't like it.

Speaker 0

丹妮尔直接说,我从来就不喜欢这个游戏。

Danielle said, I've never liked this game.

Speaker 0

所以在我们家确实不太受欢迎。

So I it wasn't a good hit for my family.

Speaker 0

也许是因为要喝酒才能让游戏有趣起来,但对家庭聚会来说这不太合适——取决于在场有哪些人。

Maybe it's because the drinking is necessary to make it a fun game, which isn't necessarily great for the family depending on who's there.

Speaker 0

不过,确实如此。

But, yeah.

Speaker 0

总之,我觉得《骷髅会》对很多人来说是个好游戏。

Anyway, I Skull's great for a lot of people.

Speaker 0

别,别听我家人的意见。

Don't, don't listen to my family on this.

Speaker 0

我认为这是个不错的选择。

It's I think it I think it's a good choice.

Speaker 2

Tim,我还有件事想问你。

That's the other thing I wanted to know, Tim.

Speaker 2

记得提一下你在感恩节拿出来的那些失败游戏。

Make sure you mentioned the ones that bombed that you brought out at Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2

对。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

除了《骷髅会》,我还想听听其他那些。

Other than school, I wanna hear those at some point.

Speaker 0

说得好。

Good call.

Speaker 0

我会的。

I will.

Speaker 0

哦对了,你刚才提到这算是派对游戏类别,不过我觉得它绝对称得上是家庭游戏。

Oh, by the way, you also mentioned this is kind of in the party game category, although I think this definitely qualifies for, like, a a family game.

Speaker 0

但我特意避开了那些传统意义上的派对游戏。

But I intentionally stayed away from what would be considered traditional party games.

Speaker 0

并不是说你们也得这样,因为我觉得派对游戏也可以成为很棒的家庭游戏。

Not that you guys have to because I think party games can make great family games.

Speaker 0

我这么做只是因为觉得这个话题值得改天再专门讨论。

I did it only because I think there's another topic there someday that I'd like to revisit.

Speaker 0

不过无论如何,这只是我开头想提的其中一件事。

But, in any case, that that was just one more thing I meant to mention at the beginning.

Speaker 1

所以从我的清单开头说起,你们可能会有点惊讶。

So coming in at the beginning of my list, you guys are gonna be a little bit shocked.

Speaker 1

这其实是款Reiner Knizia设计的游戏。

It's actually a Reiner Kunitsia game.

Speaker 1

啊,什么?

Ah, what?

Speaker 1

我榜单上的第一名居然是Reiner Kunitsia的游戏,简直难以置信。

Number one on my list is a Reiner Kunitsia game, which I can't believe.

Speaker 1

不过还有另一款游戏,因为我把这个类别算作双推了。

There's another game too, though, because I doubled up on this one.

Speaker 1

有几个地方,为了能推荐更多游戏,我做了些特殊处理。

There's a couple places where kind of in the interest of getting out more recommendations than I might otherwise do.

Speaker 1

有几款游戏因为相似性或复杂度相近,我就把它们合并推荐了。

I doubled up on a couple of them where they were some similarity or they were similar in weight or complexity.

Speaker 1

所以这个类别我做了双推,因为有两款1.14级别的轻量级游戏。

And so I'm doubling up on this one because they have two games that are very light at the 1.14 level.

Speaker 1

第一款是Reiner Knutzia的《调皮猴》。

And the first one is Cheeky Monkey by Reiner Knutzia.

Speaker 1

这款游戏适合所有群体,支持2-6人游玩。

Now this is a great game for all groups because you got two to six players.

Speaker 1

它有着这种滑稽的艺术风格。

It's got this goofy art.

Speaker 1

我是说,它看起来确实像是一个经典棋盘游戏的盒子,就像很久以前的那种,上面有这些卡通猴子对你做鬼脸。

I mean, it's very kinda it looks actually like it could have been a classic board game box from like way back in the day with these cartoony monkeys on them making faces at you.

Speaker 1

实际上这个游戏还有一个版本是装在一个毛绒猴子里的,你要从毛绒猴子里面抽取你的板块。

There's actually a version of this game that comes in a stuffed monkey and you're drawing your tiles out of a stuffed monkey.

Speaker 1

基本上,这个游戏是一个筹码抽取游戏,它与'翻七'有些共同的基因,就是你不断抽取筹码直到你决定停止,或者抽到一个你已经抽过的动物筹码而加倍,这时你就爆掉了。

So basically, this game is a chip pulling game and it does have a little bit of, common DNA with flip seven in that you're pulling chips until you decide to stop or until you pull a chip with an animal that you've already pulled and you double up in which case then you bust.

Speaker 1

这个游戏的规则非常简单。

And the idea here is very simple.

Speaker 1

你要不断抽取筹码,直到爆掉或主动停止,然后你可以按任意顺序将筹码排列成堆放在面前,从上到下随你安排。

You're pulling chips until you either bust or stop, and then you can arrange your chips in order in a pile in front of you in any order top to bottom that you want.

Speaker 1

接下来轮到下一位玩家,他们可以做同样的事情。

Next player then goes and they get to do the same thing.

Speaker 1

但如果他们抽到的动物与别人堆顶的动物相同,就可以拿走那只动物放入自己的堆中。

But if they pull an animal that somebody else has at the top of their pile, they can take that animal and put it into their pile.

Speaker 1

如果你抽到猴子(这就是为什么会有这些顽皮的猴子图案),你可以偷走别人堆顶的动物牌并加入自己的牌堆。

And if you get a monkey, this is why there's cheeky monkeys, you can steal somebody else's animal and put it into your pile.

Speaker 1

最终所有这些操作会导致的结果是:你们要清点所有牌堆,看谁拥有最多数量的每种动物,同时还有一堆更复杂的附加计分规则(类似Rider Kinesia风格)也在起作用。

And then what all this leads to at the end is you go through all these piles and whoever has, the most of each animal and there's a bunch of other little more complex Rider Kinesia style scoring things going on there too.

Speaker 1

但核心是要统计谁拥有最多数量的每种动物。

But you're looking to see who has the most of each animal.

Speaker 1

这会让你获得大量分数,并最终决定游戏的获胜者。

That'll get you a bunch of points, and that'll determine who the winner of the game is.

Speaker 1

所以这是个相当轻松、快速、简单的游戏。

So that's a pretty light, quick, easy game.

Speaker 1

要知道,任何人都能轻松掌握这个游戏的规则。

You know, anybody can figure out the rules to this one.

Speaker 1

我手头另一款复杂度1.14的游戏也是大众最爱之一。

The other game that I have sitting at that 1.14 complexity is another great crowd favorite.

Speaker 1

这是席德·萨克森设计的《情非得已》。

Can't stop designed by Sid Saxon.

Speaker 1

这款游戏可以追溯到1980年,绝对令人兴奋。

This game is way back from 1980, and it is an absolute blast.

Speaker 1

我买这个游戏并不是为了和家人一起玩,纯粹是因为我太喜欢它了。

I bought a copy of this not because I thought of playing it with my family, but just because I like it so much.

Speaker 1

事实上,我记得在BGG大会时,我们三个人——也可能是四个人。

In fact, I remember when we were at BGG Con, the three of us, actually, maybe it was four.

Speaker 1

不记得那天晚上史蒂夫是否和我们在一起。

Don't remember if Steve was with us that evening.

Speaker 1

我们从游戏图书馆借了这款游戏,坐下来边喝饮料边玩其他游戏。

Got a copy of this game checked out from the game library to sit, have a drink, and play another game.

Speaker 1

当晚的最后一局游戏。

Last game of the night was can't stop.

Speaker 1

我们之前讨论过这个游戏,不过还是简单回顾一下。

And we've talked about this one before, but just a quick quick recap.

Speaker 1

你需要掷四个骰子,然后选择任意两个骰子组合成一个数字,用来在轨道上移动。

You're gonna roll four dice and you have to be able to take any two dice, combine them into a number that you can move up a track.

Speaker 1

游戏中有多个数字列,从2(这是两颗骰子的最小点数)一直到12(这是两颗骰子的最大点数)。

There's gonna be a number of columns ranging from two, which is the least you can roll with two dice all the way up to 12, which is the most that you can roll with two dice.

Speaker 1

你可以根据骰子的组合结果在轨道上前进。

And you can move up tracks based on combinations of dice.

Speaker 1

你必须确保每回合至少能用一组骰子移动,否则就会爆掉并失去继续前进的机会。

And you have to ensure that every turn, you're able to move with at least one set of dice or you're gonna bust and you're not gonna be able to continue moving.

Speaker 1

你可以持续投掷骰子,直到你主动停止或爆掉(即掷出无法用于棋盘移动的骰子组合)。

And you can keep rolling those dice until you decide to stop or you bust and you roll a set of dice that you can't apply to moves on the board.

Speaker 1

听起来比实际复杂多了。

It sounds way more complex than it is.

Speaker 1

这个游戏非常简单容易上手。

This game is so simple and so easy.

Speaker 1

要说复杂之处,无非是尝试把这些骰子加起来,大致算算点数看看能组合成什么数字——你们都知道我不擅长数学——但无论水平如何,大家都爱玩这个游戏。

If anything, the complexity comes in trying to add up these dice and trying to vaguely do the math on the dice to figure out what adds up to what, which you guys know that math is not my thing, but everybody loves playing this game at every level.

Speaker 1

而且,它是个经典。

And, it's a classic.

Speaker 1

它经受住了时间的考验。

It stood the test of time.

Speaker 1

如果到了1980年他们还在推出这个游戏的新版本,你就知道它肯定是个赢家。

If it's 1980 and they're still putting out new versions of this game, you know it's gotta be a winner.

Speaker 0

克里斯,我知道你清单上还有额外游戏,但我以为你会以某种方式配对它们使其符合资格,而不只是图便宜。

Now, Chris, I I knew you had some extra games on your list, but I thought it's because you were gonna to pair them in some way that made the they qualified so it wasn't just as cheap.

Speaker 0

但你今天真的只是在硬往清单里塞更多游戏吗?

But are you literally just squeezing extra games into your list today?

Speaker 1

呃,我想我刚讨论的两款游戏都是关于持续行动直到爆仓或推动运气的类型。

Well, I think I just talked about two games where you are continuing to take moves until you bust or Push luck games.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

确实有些赌运气的元素。

There's some push your luck.

Speaker 1

不过说实话,我确实是在作弊。

Although, honestly, I really was just cheating.

Speaker 0

好吧。

Okay.

Speaker 0

有道理。

Fair enough.

Speaker 0

嗯,你描述那个顽皮猴子的时候挺有意思的,它和'翻七'听起来多像啊——就是那种你不断抽牌,如果匹配到你已有的牌就会爆掉的概念,完全是一回事。

Well, it it was funny when you were describing, the the cheeky monkey, how close that actually sounds to flip seven, the idea that when you keep continue to pull, if you match a a tile or a card that you've got, right, it's it's you're gonna bust same thing.

Speaker 0

这倒是挺有意思的。

So that's funny.

Speaker 0

既然你提到了,而且你本来就在作弊,其实我有个备选游戏没放进榜单,因为我觉得它不太好找。

Since you mentioned it and you're cheating anyway, there's one of my runners up that I chose not to put on my list because I don't think it's very easy to find.

Speaker 0

那是日本印刷的版本。

It it was a Japanese printing.

Speaker 0

我不确定美国有没有卖,但我有幸玩过Reiner Knutia设计的这个游戏。

I don't know if it's available in The US, but I got a chance to play it by Reiner Knutia.

Speaker 0

这款游戏叫做《维京跷跷板》。

It's called Viking Seesaw.

Speaker 0

这是一款巧妙的动作游戏,每位玩家拥有不同重量的物品,需要将它们放在这个小小的维京船平衡器上,并尝试与其他物品保持平衡。

This clever dexterity game where you have everybody has objects of different weight, and they have to try to put it on this little balancing Viking boat and try to balance out the other objects around.

Speaker 0

这个游戏非常可爱、巧妙且充满乐趣。

This is very cute, very clever, and very fun.

Speaker 0

所以如果你能找到这款游戏,我会推荐家庭尝试一下。

So if you can find that one, would say check it out for a family.

Speaker 0

不过关于《停不下来》的笔记,我想说这是经典的家庭游戏,因为我小时候6、7、8岁时就经常和家人一起玩,那时就很喜欢。

My notes on can't stop though are just that this is the classic family game because I was literally playing this when I was six, seven, eight years old with my family, loving it then.

Speaker 0

现在依然热爱。

Still love it.

Speaker 0

我可以和任何人一起玩这款游戏并且乐在其中。

I can pull this game out with anybody and adore it.

Speaker 0

我曾经拥有过经典的大塑料停止标志版本,当时觉得它是个笨重丑陋的架子装饰,所以错误地处理掉了它。

I used to have the classic big plastic stop sign version of it, and I thought it was a big, ugly, clunky thing on my shelf, so I mistakenly got rid of it.

Speaker 0

但我正在等待重新入手《Can't Stop》的完美时机。

But I am watching for the perfect opportunity to reacquire Can't Stop.

Speaker 0

我想要那种可以折叠成游戏板的小盒子版本。

I want one of those, like, little small box versions that fold out to the game board.

Speaker 0

所以我一直在留意,只要看到合适的就会立刻买下。

So I'm watching for one of those, and as soon as I see what I'm picking it up.

Speaker 2

克里斯,调皮鬼,我听说过这个游戏,但不确定是否仔细看过。

Chris, cheeky monkey, I've heard it before, I don't know if I've ever taken a look at it.

Speaker 2

它看起来很精美。

It looks beautiful.

Speaker 2

我喜欢这些小筹码。

I like these little chips.

Speaker 2

你玩过那个吗?

Have you played that?

Speaker 2

你实际玩过这个游戏吗?

Have you physically played this one?

Speaker 2

这些筹码基本上就是迷你版的扑克筹码。

The chips look like little miniature poker chips, essentially.

Speaker 1

确实如此,而且它的制作工艺非常精良,尤其是配有填充猴子的那一款。

They are, basically, and it's got a really nice production, especially if you're playing with the one with the stuffed monkey.

Speaker 1

那款确实相当讨喜,制作质量上乘。

That that really is quite charming, nice quality production.

Speaker 1

没错。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以它摸起来和看起来一样棒。

So it feels as good as it looks.

Speaker 0

看起来很棒。

Looks great.

Speaker 0

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 0

那么,我的下一个选择在BoardGameGeek上权重为1.16,这就是《寿司狗》。

Well, my next pick is sitting at 1.16 weight on board game geek, and this is Sushi Go.

Speaker 0

这是我刚接触桌游时就有机会玩到的早期游戏之一,我立刻就爱上了它。

This is one of the earlier games I actually got a chance to play when I was getting introduced into the hobby, and I just fell in love with it immediately.

Speaker 0

但我把它介绍给各种年龄、各种游戏类型的人,似乎大家都很喜欢,至少时不时会玩上几局。

But I've introduced it to people of all ages, all play types, and everybody seems to enjoy it, at least for a few plays here and there.

Speaker 0

《Sushi Go》是一款轮抽游戏,玩法是你要拿取各种寿司小卡片,比如生鱼片、握寿司之类的各种寿司种类。

Sushi Go is a drafting game, and the idea is that you're taking little pieces of sushi, whether it's like sashimi or nigiri or whatever the different types of sushi are.

Speaker 0

我不太清楚。

I don't know.

Speaker 0

我爸说的那些词对吗?

Did my dad even say those right?

Speaker 0

我不常吃寿司。

I don't eat sushi a lot.

Speaker 2

挺不错的。

Pretty good.

Speaker 2

是啊。

Yeah.

展开剩余字幕(还有 480 条)
Speaker 0

不过基本上,你一开始会拿到七张手牌。

But, basically, you're gonna end up with seven cards in your starting hand.

Speaker 0

你选一张,剩下的传给别人。

You take one, you pass the rest.

Speaker 0

这是经典的暗抽机制,介绍起来很简单,因为你只需要努力收集最终七组牌。

It's the classic hidden drafting mechanism, and it's introduced so simply because all that you're doing is you're trying to collect your final set of seven hands.

Speaker 0

当你选牌时,抽到就立即打出。

And as you play them, as you as you draft the card, you play it immediately.

Speaker 0

本质上,根据你如何将寿司卡与其他寿司卡组合,它们会以不同方式计分。

Essentially, depending on how you combine it with other sushi cards, they're gonna score in different ways.

Speaker 0

但由于一个简单的事实——每个人都能看到你从手牌中选走的卡,这给了你一个很好的机会来进行一些'仇恨选卡'策略。

But because of the simple fact that everybody sees the card that you drafted from your firsthand, they it gives you a good opportunity to try to hate draft a little bit.

Speaker 0

我不能把这张卡传给他,因为这会帮助他获胜。

I can't pass that to him because it's gonna help him win.

Speaker 0

部分计分机制是具有竞争性的。

Some of the scoring is competitive.

Speaker 0

比如,谁拥有最多某种类型的寿司,谁就能在那回合获得更多分数。

Like, whoever has the most of a particular type of sushi is gonna get more points that turn.

Speaker 0

所以你某种程度上是在为这个优势位置而选牌。

So you're kinda drafting for that position.

Speaker 0

其中有些牌,你需要通过三轮来选取。

Some of them, you you draft this over three rounds.

Speaker 0

你将进行三轮游戏,每轮重新选取七张牌。

You're gonna play three rounds, redraft seven cards each time.

Speaker 0

其中一些会有终局计分条件。

Some of them will have endgame scoring conditions.

Speaker 0

比如,我需要在这三轮选牌中拿到最多的某种牌。

Like, I need to draft the most over the three rounds of drafting.

Speaker 0

所以游戏内置了非常简单有趣的计分机制,我认为《寿司狗》至今仍很出色。

So just really simple, fun scoring mechanisms built into this, and I think Sushi Go still hits.

Speaker 0

我至今仍会时不时重玩这款游戏。

I still love going back to it from time to time.

Speaker 0

有一个大盒版本叫《寿司派对》,对爱好者来说非常酷,因为你可以混搭不同种类的寿司,它们有不同的得分规则。

There is a big box version that's called Sushi Go Party, which is really cool for hobbyists because you can mix and match different types of sushi, which have different scoring conditions.

Speaker 0

但如果你在寻找适合家庭的轻度游戏,我建议直接选《寿司快跑》。

But I would say for if you're looking for a family weight game, just go Sushi Go.

Speaker 0

它就是个小小的卡片铁盒,里面的计分机制几乎是最完美的版本。

It's little tiny tin of cards, and it's really the scoring in there is almost the best version of it.

Speaker 0

规则都很简单。

They're all simple.

Speaker 0

每个人都能轻松上手。

Everybody can get into it.

Speaker 0

我曾经和五六岁的小孩一起玩过这个。

I played this with, like, five, six year olds.

Speaker 0

也和成年人玩过。

I've played it with adults.

Speaker 0

真的很棒。

It's it's great.

Speaker 0

寿司大作战,很棒,很棒的小游戏。

Sushi Go, great, great little game.

Speaker 2

这些年来我听过无数次关于这个游戏的评价,但自己却从未玩过。

This is what I've heard about tons and tons over the years and never played this one.

Speaker 2

我很想尝试一下,看看它到底有什么魅力,看起来确实很吸引人。

I'd like to give it a shot just to see what it's about, but it looks charming.

Speaker 2

真想试试这个游戏。

Love to try this one.

Speaker 2

寿司大作战。

Sushi Go.

Speaker 1

Tim,我们刚开始一起玩游戏时玩过这个,对吧?

Tim, you and I played this one back when we first started playing games together, didn't we?

Speaker 0

Chris,我对此一点也不意外,因为我那时候确实有这个游戏。

I wouldn't be surprised by that, Chris, because I definitely owned it back then.

Speaker 0

就像我说的,这是我刚接触桌游时最早入手的几款游戏之一。

It was, again, like I said, one of the earlier hobby games that I picked up when I got introduced to it.

Speaker 1

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

因为我99%确定我玩过这个游戏,而且我很确定是和你一起玩的。

Because I'm 99% sure that I played this, and I'm pretty sure it was with you.

Speaker 0

但你对它一点印象都没有了。

But you don't remember anything about it.

Speaker 0

你给它打过分吗,克里斯?

You did you rate it, Chris?

Speaker 0

看,你本应该在BGG上评分的,这样你就知道当时对它的感受了。

See, you should have rated it on BGG, then you'd know how you felt about it.

Speaker 1

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

我想那甚至是在我知道BGG是什么之前的事了。

That I think that was before I even knew what BGG was.

Speaker 1

是啊。

So yeah.

Speaker 2

接下来我要介绍的游戏叫《No Thanks》,我之前提到过它。

Up next for me is a game called No Thanks, and I've talked about this one before.

Speaker 2

但我超爱这个游戏。

But I love this game.

Speaker 2

它是在达拉斯举办的BoardGameGeek大会上免费赠送的,当时我没拿。

It was given away for free at BoardGameGeek con back in Dallas when we went and I, you know, I didn't take it.

Speaker 2

我当时想,我不需要这个。

I was like, I don't need that.

Speaker 2

我不需要更多了。

I don't I don't need anymore.

Speaker 2

我行李箱里没地方把这东西带回家了。

I don't have room in my suitcase to take this thing back home.

Speaker 2

虽然它只是个小小的盒子,我真该拿走的。

Even though it's the tiniest little box, I should have grabbed it.

Speaker 2

我真该把它拿走的,这款游戏太有魅力了。

I wish I would have grabbed it and kept it because this game is charming.

Speaker 2

游戏玩法是这样的:最多支持七名玩家,至少需要三人,使用一副牌。

What you're doing is well, it plays up to seven players, need at least three, and you have a deck.

Speaker 2

牌组中最小数字是3,最大数字好像是35。

I think a deck goes from the lowest number is three, the highest number is, like, 35.

Speaker 2

根据玩家数量,你需要取出几张牌放回盒子里。

Depending on player count, you take out a few of these cards, stash them back in the box.

Speaker 2

这样你就无法计算剩余牌数了。

So you can't count the cards.

Speaker 2

游戏开始时每位玩家会获得一定数量的筹码或小石子——这些来自喜马拉雅山西麓的小石子非常漂亮。

You get a certain number of these chips to start with or stones, little stones from the western faces of the Himalayas, which are beautiful.

Speaker 2

虽然实际上可能只是黑色塑料制品,但在某些版本中手感特别好。

And I think that's actually just, you know, black plastic, but they feel really good in certain versions of this game.

Speaker 2

玩家初始持有这些小石子,然后由起始玩家翻开一张牌——假设是数字22。

So you have these stones that you're starting with, and then the first player flips up a card, say it's a 22.

Speaker 2

如果你不想要,就说'不用了,谢谢'。

If you don't want it, you say no thanks.

Speaker 2

你其实不必说'不用了,谢谢'。

You don't have to say no thanks.

Speaker 2

但你得放一个筹码上去,这些筹码很棒,因为它们会在游戏结束时帮你计分——取决于你手里剩下多少筹码。

But you put a chip on it, and those chips are great because that is gonna help your score at the end of the game, however many chips you have left in your hand.

Speaker 2

而且如果你不想要这张牌,也需要用到筹码。

And you need chips also if you don't want the card.

Speaker 2

所以现在这张牌上可能有四五个筹码,那个22看起来相当诱人。

So maybe there's four or five chips now on this card and that 22 is looking pretty juicy.

Speaker 2

于是有人拿走了它,现在他们面前有了这个22,这将成为游戏结束时的得分,22减去他们手中剩余的筹码数。

So somebody grabs it, and now they have this 22 in front of them, and that's gonna be their score at the end of the game, 22, minus the chips that they have left in their hand.

Speaker 2

然而,如果出现一张21,他们现在就有了顺子。

However, if a 21 comes up, now they have a run.

Speaker 2

所以顺子中最低的那张牌将成为你的得分。

So the lowest card in a run is gonna be your score.

Speaker 2

现在那个22变成了21。

Now that 22 becomes a 21.

Speaker 2

所以你希望,当你拿了一个22后,你还想拿到21和20,而其他人除了阻止你拿到这些接近你手牌的数字,或者如果上面有很多诱人的筹码,否则他们是没有动力去拿这些较低的数字的。

So you're hoping that, you know, and once you do take a 22, you wanna get like a 21 and a 20, and no one else is incentivized to take these lower numbers that are close to the card you have other than to keep you from getting it perhaps or if there's a bunch of juicy chips on it, maybe they'll take it.

Speaker 2

但有趣的是,假设你拿了一个34,最后你手上有个34。

But the the fun part of it is say you take a, you know, a 34, you end up with a 34 somehow.

Speaker 2

而现在外面有个33。

And now there's a 33 out there.

Speaker 2

没人想要那个。

Nobody wants that.

Speaker 2

它就会轮到你。

It comes to you.

Speaker 2

那张牌上只有两个筹码。

There's only two chips out there on the card.

Speaker 2

那么,你就得再放一个筹码上去。

Well, you're gonna put another chip out there.

Speaker 2

不用了,谢谢。

No thanks.

Speaker 2

然后又把那张牌在桌上转了一圈。

And push that card around the table again.

Speaker 2

其他人都不想要它。

Nobody else wants it.

Speaker 2

希望它能再转一圈回到你这里。

Hopefully, makes it around the table again.

Speaker 2

现在你又为自己赢得了五个筹码,还降低了分数。

Now you've just earned yourself five more chips and you've reduced your score.

Speaker 2

此外你还获得了这些小筹码,它们能让你在后续游戏中获得更多优势,并在游戏结束时进一步降低你的分数。

Plus you got all these little chips that give you a little more power for the rest of the game and are gonna reduce your score at the end of the game.

Speaker 2

所以这里的权重是1.13。

So the weight here is a 1.13.

Speaker 2

希望我的描述足够清楚,能让大家理解这个机制。

I hope that I described that well enough to give people a picture of it.

Speaker 2

基本上规则就是这样。

That's basically the rules right there.

Speaker 2

同样,你无法确定牌堆里是否有34点,因为游戏结束时你抽出了大约五六张牌放回盒子里。

Again, you don't know if a 34 is going to be in the deck because you took out, know, five or six cards at the end of the game, put them back in the box.

Speaker 2

你不能指望那些你需要的牌一定会在牌堆里。

You can't count on any of those cards being in there that you need.

Speaker 2

这就是'不客气'——愉快、快速、爆笑、有趣,还带点赌运气的成分。

That's no thanks, delightful, quick, hilarious, fun, a little bit of push your luck in there.

Speaker 2

这款游戏超级容易上手。

Super easy to get that one to the table.

Speaker 1

那么亚当,这是不是意味着在BGG展会上他们想免费送你这款游戏时,你最初的反应是'不用了谢谢'?

So Adam, is that to say that when they tried to give you this game for free at BGG Con, you initially thought, no thanks.

Speaker 2

完全正确,克里斯。

That's that's exactly correct, Chris.

Speaker 2

你是知道的。

You know that.

Speaker 2

这是我的失误。

And that was my mistake.

Speaker 2

我真希望当时说的是‘好的,请给我’。

I wish I would have said yes, please.

Speaker 0

嗯,事情有趣的地方在于。

Well, so here's the funny thing.

Speaker 0

实际上他们在两年前的Board Game Geek Con上给了我这款游戏。

I actually they gave me this game at b at Board Game Geek Con two years ago.

Speaker 0

那是你们还没和我一起的前一年。

So it was the year before you guys were with me.

Speaker 0

我当时就想,嘿。

And I I was like, hey.

Speaker 0

我听说过关于这个骗局游戏的好评。

I'd heard great things about scam.

Speaker 0

我试玩了一下。

I tried it.

Speaker 0

我试着和家人一起玩,包括父母和兄弟,结果这又是一个完全失败的游戏。

I tried it with my family, with my parents and my brother, and it this was another one that totally flopped at them.

Speaker 0

而且对我来说也是个失败。

And it and it flopped for me.

Speaker 0

我认为它最大的问题在于——我稍后会解释为什么我可能错了——

I thought the biggest problem with it and I I've I'll get to why I might be wrong here.

Speaker 0

我认为最大的问题是卡牌数值范围太大,如果你最终拿到像32或31这样的小牌,无论你获得了多少筹码,你很可能都会输。

I thought the biggest problem with it was that the the card range is so high that if you end up with, like, a 32 or a 31 as your lowest card, no matter how many discs you've gotten, you're probably gonna lose.

Speaker 0

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 0

所以有时候当你拿到错误的牌时,感觉完全不可能赢。

And so it sometimes feels like completely unwinnable when you just end up with the wrong card.

Speaker 0

但我在想这是否又是那种适合喝点小酒或者和小朋友一起玩的游戏,可能会比我们经历的更有趣一些。

But I wonder if this is another one that would benefit from a couple drinks or very young children playing it with you to make I don't know, to to create some funnier moments than we got to experience.

Speaker 2

不。

No.

Speaker 2

这里有一个重要的细节是,你必须把手中的筹码藏好。

One big nuance here is you have to keep the chips that you have hidden.

Speaker 2

所以这是游戏的一个重要部分。

So that's a big part of the game.

Speaker 2

我是说,我记得你们玩的时候有一次没遵守这个规则。

Mean, I think you played it one time and you weren't doing that.

Speaker 2

所以这很关键,因为

So that's a big part of it because

Speaker 0

有可能。

That could be.

Speaker 2

如果你没有筹码了,就只能拿桌上那张明牌。

If you're out of chips, you have no choice but to take that card that's out there on the table.

Speaker 2

所以在决定是否要继续传递时,这点会造成很大影响。

So that makes a big difference when deciding to, you know, pass or try to send it around again.

Speaker 0

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

说实话,我非常乐意再试一次。

To be honest, I'd totally be happy to try this again.

Speaker 0

特别是可以带到我们下次的展会上玩。

Think especially like, you know, bring it to our next con.

Speaker 0

这游戏真的非常简单。

It's so so simple.

Speaker 0

非常适合深夜,比如晚上11点那种时候玩的游戏

It's a great late night, like, 11:00 at night type of game

Speaker 1

嗯。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

拿出来玩。

To bust out.

Speaker 0

所以我很想再试一次,看看第一次是不是真的错过了什么。

So I'd love to give it another shot and see if I just really missed out on it the first time.

Speaker 0

不过确实。

But yeah.

Speaker 0

好的。

Cool.

Speaker 1

所以这次我要给你来个特别奇怪的转折。

So I'm gonna throw a really weird transition to you on this one.

Speaker 1

其中一位艺术家,是《No Thanks》中列出的五位艺术家之一,这特别奇怪,因为实际上这游戏没有任何艺术成分。

One of the artists, one of the five artists credited on no thanks, which is particularly odd considering that it doesn't actually have any art.

Speaker 1

就是一堆数字。

It's a bunch of numbers.

Speaker 1

这是丹尼斯·洛豪森的作品。

It's Dennis Lohausen.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Mhmm.

Speaker 1

堪称史上最伟大的作品之一。

One of the all time greats.

Speaker 1

我的下一款游戏也是丹尼斯·洛豪森的项目。

And my next game is also a Dennis Lohausen project.

Speaker 1

《骆驼大赛》,由Stefan Bogen设计,美术则由无可比拟的Dennis Lohausen操刀。

Camel Up, which is designed by Stefan Bogen with art by the inimitable Dennis Lohausen.

Speaker 1

这款游戏的复杂度评级为1.5。

This game is rated a 1.5 weight.

Speaker 1

支持2到8名玩家同乐,完美复现了热闹派对桌游的氛围,充满欢声笑语。

It can play two to eight players, so it definitely captures that feel of, you know, hey, a big party at the table, lots of fun.

Speaker 1

几乎任何规模的团体都能轻松上手。

Anybody, any group can play it, almost any size.

Speaker 1

我们再次讨论的是一款充满滑稽搞笑主题的游戏,配上了极其可爱的美术设计。

Once again, we're talking about a game that's got a really goofy, funny theme, and it's got some really adorable artwork.

Speaker 1

在《骆驼大赛》中,你主要参与赛骆驼下注——可以押注不同骆驼的最终名次。游戏真正的乐趣在于投掷骰子移动骆驼时:当一只骆驼反向跳到另一只背上,它们可能会被错误方向拖走,各种疯狂场面就此展开。

Now, in Camel Up, you are racing, camels, but mostly you're betting on the camels that are racing so you can bet on different camels and how they're gonna come in and where the real fun enters the game in camel up is that you're rolling these dice and moving camels around the board and oh, one camel can land on the back of another camel that's going the opposite direction and then maybe they'll get pulled off in the wrong direction and all kinds of wacky fun ensues.

Speaker 1

结合少量下注机制和掷骰要素,充满趣味性但不需要太深策略,决策空间也不大。

There's a little bit of betting and a little bit of dice rolling, lots of fun, not a lot of super deep strategy, not a lot of huge decision space.

Speaker 1

这款游戏在BGG上被归类为家庭游戏。

This is listed as a family game on BGG.

Speaker 1

但这款游戏,几乎任何人都能轻松上手并享受其中乐趣。

But this one, anybody can pretty much get into this one and have a good time with it.

Speaker 0

好的,听众朋友们。

Okay, listeners.

Speaker 0

如果你们中有人和我一样欣赏Dennis Lohausen的艺术风格,那么你们会很高兴知道,《骆驼大赛》第二版的插画是由Chris Quilliams负责的。

If any of you feel like I do about Dennis Lohausenart, you'll be happy to know that the second edition of Camel Up has the art by Chris Quilliams.

Speaker 0

如果你玩的是原版游戏,这其实不失为Dennis Lohausen艺术风格的一个不错范例。

Now this is not a bad example of Dennis Lohausen art if you are playing the original.

Speaker 0

相比他处理的大部分欧式游戏,这种风格其实更贴合主题——它充分发挥了他那种漫画式的风格特点,不过我确实更偏爱第二版《骆驼大赛》的整体制作。

It's it kinda fits better than I think most of the Euros he tackles because it does take advantage of his comical style, but I actually love the second edition production of Camel Up.

Speaker 0

这是个很棒的游戏,Chris。

This is a great game, Chris.

Speaker 0

这原本是我候选清单上的游戏之一,直到听说你也打算收录它。

It was actually one of the games that was on my shortlist until I heard that you were you were adding it to yours.

Speaker 0

但和我一起玩过这游戏的人——无论是休闲玩家还是孩子——可以说全都非常喜欢它。

But everybody that I played this with I would say everybody that is a a casual gamer, a kid, has loved it.

Speaker 0

对桌游爱好者来说,这款游戏相当轻松。

It's it's pretty light for for hobbyists.

Speaker 0

所以我玩起来依然很开心。

So I still have fun playing.

Speaker 0

我认为大多数桌游爱好者在家庭聚会时都会喜欢它,但我不一定会特意找同好一起玩,它确实是一款很棒的家庭游戏。

I think most hobbyists will in a family type of setting, but I wouldn't necessarily go search it out to play with your hobbyist friends, but it is a great family way game.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

不过我要说明一下,我只和成年桌游爱好者群体玩过这个。

Although, I just note there that I have played it only with groups of adult hobbyists.

Speaker 0

有道理。

Fair enough.

Speaker 1

确实。

So, yeah.

Speaker 1

所以,我明白你的意思。

So, I mean, I I get what you're saying.

Speaker 1

我是说,这确实很有道理。

I mean, it's certainly that does ring true.

Speaker 1

不过它在很多成年玩家中也非常受欢迎。

Although it is also a a great hit with a lot of adult gamers as well.

Speaker 2

这款游戏很迷人。

This one's charming.

Speaker 2

我从来没玩过这个,但每次路过时都能在巴诺书店或其他大型商店里看到它。

It's one I've never played, but every time I walk past it, it's it's widely available at Barnes and Noble or any other big box store.

Speaker 2

我总是会考虑要不要买。

I would see always contemplate buying it.

Speaker 2

我记得价格大概是35.4美元左右。

I think it's $35.40 bucks, something like that.

Speaker 2

第二版的看起来非常精美。

It looks so the second edition looks beautiful.

Speaker 2

所以这是款我从未尝试过但很想玩的游戏。

So it's one I've never tried, but one I would love to.

Speaker 2

骆驼

Camel

Speaker 0

上。

Up.

Speaker 0

关于《骆驼大赛》,我还想最后提一点。

Now one last note I wanted to mention about Camel Up.

Speaker 0

我认为现在正是讨论它的好时机,《骆驼大赛》是一款带点赛马博彩性质的游戏。

I think this is a great time to to chat about it is that Camel Up is a little bit of a betting on races type of game.

Speaker 0

我们在决定今晚录制前都同意,有一款游戏虽然绝对应该上榜,但我们会把它从所有列表中剔除,因为最近关于它的讨论已经够多了。

We all agreed before we decided to record tonight that there was one game we were gonna leave off all our list that absolutely belongs there, but it's been talked about so much lately.

Speaker 0

所以我们不想占用名额,那就是《热力赛马》。

So we didn't wanna take up a spot, and that's Hot Streak.

Speaker 0

《热力赛马》也是一款赛马博彩类游戏,是《骆驼大赛》的有力竞争者。

Hot Streak is also a betting on races type of game and a very good competitor with Camelop.

Speaker 0

并不是说它们两个都很棒。

Not that they both of them are are great.

Speaker 0

它们都很有趣。

They're both very fun.

Speaker 0

如果你在寻找那种类型的游戏,千万别错过《Hot Streak》。

If you're looking for that style of game, don't don't skip out on Hot streak.

Speaker 0

它很棒。

It is great.

Speaker 0

但我们今晚要重点讨论其他游戏,比如《Camelop》。

But we're focusing on some other games tonight like Camelop.

Speaker 1

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

提姆,我很高兴你提到这点,因为如果有听众在想:'我其实正想找些适合和家人一起玩的游戏清单'。

And I'm glad you brought that up, Tim, because if someone is listening to this and thinking, oh, well, I'm actually really looking for a list of games here that I might wanna buy to play with my family.

Speaker 1

毫无疑问,《Hot Streak》应该在其中。

Absolutely, Hot Streak should be on it.

Speaker 1

我想我们刚才算是达成共识了——因为大家都爱这款游戏,它被公认为同类游戏中非常出色的作品,而且和《Camel Up》很相似,所以我们不想过多讨论它,但它绝对应该出现在任何人的游戏清单上。

I think we just kinda put the motion on the table that because everybody loves this one, because it is so universally considered such a great game of its type, also very similar to Camel Up that we we didn't wanna overtalk about this one, but it's absolutely one that belongs on anybody's list.

Speaker 0

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 0

那么,我清单上的下一个游戏权重为1.49,那就是《东京之王》。

Well, next game on my list is sitting at a 1.49 weight, and that is king of Tokyo.

Speaker 0

这是理查德·加菲尔德设计的作品。

This is a Richard Garfield design.

Speaker 0

我现在要说的几款游戏都有些年头了,可能正因如此——那会儿我刚入坑桌游,更倾向于玩家庭向游戏——但这些至今仍是我的心头好。

And now a couple of these games I'm talking about, they're a little bit older, and maybe that fits just because that's when I was starting to get into the hobby, more likely to be playing family weight games, but these are still some games that I love.

Speaker 0

我认为这款游戏依然精彩绝伦。

I think this game is still fantastic.

Speaker 0

它非常容易上手。

It's very easy to play.

Speaker 0

游戏结合了骰子投掷(类似Yahtzee)与战斗机制,每位玩家都扮演巨型怪兽——哥斯拉式的怪物、金刚之类的角色。

It's got Yahtzee style dice rolling with combat, but the idea being that every player is playing a big kaiju type monster, a Godzilla type of monster, King Kong, or something like that.

Speaker 0

版图中央是东京地图,正中间就是东京区域。

And there's a map of Tokyo in the middle of the board, and toke and right in the middle is Tokyo.

Speaker 0

因此,任何身处东京的玩家掷骰时,比如掷出爪形符号,就意味着将造成伤害。

And so whoever is in Tokyo, when they roll these dice, they're gonna roll something like, if it's a claw, that means it's gonna do damage.

Speaker 0

但如果他们在东京城内,就会对所有城外玩家造成伤害。

But if they're in Tokyo, it's gonna do damage to everybody outside of Tokyo.

Speaker 0

若身处城外,则仅对东京城内的玩家造成伤害,不过城内玩家可以选择在自己的回合不掷骰而直接离开东京——或者我记得是在受到伤害时触发这个机制。

If they're outside of Tokyo, it's only gonna do damage to the person in the middle, but the person in the middle can always choose on their turn to not roll and instead leave Tokyo or whenever they're damaged, I think, is when it happens.

Speaker 0

所以这也带点赌运气的成分,核心理念就是你始终在与其他玩家周旋。

And so the it's a little bit of a push your luck game also, but the idea being that, yes, you are messing with the other players all the time.

Speaker 0

你试图将他们淘汰出局,但这并非针对性的'攻击性'游戏机制。

You're trying to knock them out of the game, but it's not a it's not a targeted take that game.

Speaker 0

身处东京城的玩家永远是被攻击目标,他们竭力坚守阵地以获得更多分数,同时能对桌上所有其他玩家造成伤害。

Whoever's in the middle is always gonna be the target, and they're always trying to stay there as long as they can because they get more points, and they can damage everybody else at the table.

Speaker 0

这是个需要快速做决定的欢乐游戏。

So it's a fun, quick decisions.

Speaker 0

采用类似'快艇骰'的机制:你要么掷爪形符号,要么掷数字——凑齐特定组合能获得额外分数,或者收集那些能量符号。

The Yahtzee style dice where you're either rolling for claws or you're rolling these numbers, and if you get a set of them, then you get some extra points, or you're rolling for these little energy symbols.

Speaker 0

这正是Gabriel设计的趣味之处,让即便是轻度爱好者也能乐在其中——当你收集到这些能量符号并积攒足够多的小能量方块后,就可以兑换棋盘旁侧卡牌市场上的特殊能力卡。

And this is kind of the Gabriel y part of it that makes it fun even for hobbyists a little bit is that, if you get these energy symbols and you collect enough of these little energy cubes from from those, then there are these cards, this little card market by the side of the board that you can turn in to get some special powers.

Speaker 0

通常整局游戏里你最多只能获得一两张,运气好可能三张,但这些卡牌会赋予你在特定骰子组合时触发的额外能力。

You don't normally get more than one or two, maybe three of these over the course of the game, but they may give you some extra powers that happen on certain dice rolls and things like that.

Speaker 0

因此每局游戏都会有不同的变数。

So it changes it up every game.

Speaker 0

这游戏不仅乐趣十足,尤其适合带孩子一起玩。

This is still great fun, but it's great with kids.

Speaker 0

我是和一个小男孩一起学会玩这个游戏的。

And I learned this game playing with a boy.

Speaker 0

我当时大概25岁,也可能是28岁,和一群20岁出头的年轻人一起玩。

I was, like, at 25 years old, you know, maybe 28, and playing with a bunch of other just, like, 20.

Speaker 0

就是一群年轻人围坐在桌边,玩这个游戏玩得非常开心。

So just a a group of young adults sitting around the table having a blast playing this game.

Speaker 0

我就是在那时第一次接触这个游戏的。

That's where I got introduced to it.

Speaker 0

我现在仍然喜欢经常重温它。

I still like going back to it regularly.

Speaker 0

所以我认为这款游戏非常适合各类家庭。

So I think this is a great fit for families of all types.

Speaker 2

提姆,《东京之王》就是其中之一。

Tim, King of Tokyo is one.

Speaker 2

我想我这些年断断续续听你提起过,虽然我还没尝试过,但听起来太棒了。

I think I've heard you talk about it here and there over the years, and I've never tried this one either, but it sounds fantastic.

Speaker 2

我很想试试这款游戏。

I'd love to give this one a shot.

Speaker 0

听你这么说我真的很兴奋。

I I actually am really excited to hear you say that.

Speaker 0

亚当,《寿司转呀转》也是一样的情况。

And and same thing with Sushi Go, Adam.

Speaker 0

我在整理这份清单时就在想:这对别人真的有用吗?

And and the thing is when I was making this list, I was like, is this really of any value to anybody?

Speaker 0

因为这些全都是经典游戏。

Because these are all classic games.

Speaker 0

大家肯定都玩过这些游戏。

Everybody's got to have played them.

Speaker 0

但事实上你们喜欢的是,我们在讨论你们之前没玩过的游戏。

But the fact that that you guys like, we're talking about games that you guys haven't played before.

Speaker 0

我敢打赌我们观众中有相当一部分人,尤其是新入坑的桌游玩家,这些游戏已经过了它们的黄金时期,可能根本没进入他们的视野。

I bet there's a decent number of our audience, especially newer hobby gamers, that these were kind of past their prime, and they wouldn't have been on the radar.

Speaker 0

所以我真的很高兴听到这里至少有些内容能引起大家的兴趣。

So I love I love hearing that there is at least something of interest for, for people here.

Speaker 1

又一个很棒的选择,Tim。

Another great pick, Tim.

Speaker 1

我也非常喜欢这个。

I I really enjoy this one as well.

Speaker 1

至于那些,我想不是无形的,但至少与规则不同。

And as to those, I guess not intangibles, but different than the rules at least.

Speaker 1

这些游戏,我说'这些'是因为我把《纽约之王》也包括在内。

These games, and I say these because I include, King of New York in there as well.

Speaker 1

那一款稍微复杂一些。

That one is a little bit more complex.

Speaker 1

它们充满了绝妙的幽默感。

There's such a great sense of humor.

Speaker 1

虽然是怪兽题材,但都是些滑稽卡通风格的怪兽。

These are kaijus, but they're kinda goofy, cartoonish kaijus.

Speaker 1

游戏里有大量趣味十足的美术设计。

Lots of fun artwork on this thing.

Speaker 1

正是这些特质让它不仅吸引桌游爱好者,我觉得对年轻玩家也很有吸引力。

It's one of those things that makes it, I think, appeal to younger players and not just hobbyists.

Speaker 2

我清单上的下一款游戏叫《胡言乱语》。

Up next for me on my list is a game called Balderdash.

Speaker 2

这款游戏的复杂度评级是1.39。

This one has a weight of 1.39.

Speaker 2

我记得最美好的时光是夏天从学校、从大学回家的那些夜晚。

And I remember the best some of the best nights were coming back home during the summer back from, back from school, back from college.

Speaker 2

和高中好友们聚在一起,在海滩度过愉快的一天后围坐在桌边。

So hanging out with my high school buddies, and we'd be around the table after a nice day at the beach or something.

Speaker 2

我们接下来要做什么呢?

What are we gonna do?

Speaker 2

拿出Balderdash来玩几局吧。

Let's get out Balderdash and play some of this.

Speaker 2

这个游戏最多支持六人同时游玩。

It plays up to six players as well.

Speaker 2

游戏机制很简单,就是一条行进轨道。

And what you're doing here, there's just a, a track.

Speaker 2

你需要想办法到达轨道的终点。

You're trying to get to the end of this track.

Speaker 2

为此,系统会给你一个单词作为题目。

And to do that, you are given a word.

Speaker 2

这是字典里的某个英语单词,但非常冷僻或口语化,有些非常古老的词汇。

It's some English word from the dictionary, but a very obscure or or colloquial, some very old timey word.

Speaker 2

我记得我们有个词就是其中之一。

I think we had a word like was one of them.

Speaker 2

我忘记具体是什么词了,但有一个词的定义是'因纽特巫师'之类的。

The I forget the word, but there was one that was like an an Inuit wizard was the definition of it.

Speaker 2

所以你会拿到所有这些冷僻词,大家轮流担任抽词人,抽到词的人会知道真正的定义,并要把实际定义写在纸上。

So you have all these obscure words and everybody takes turns being the person that draws the actual word and reads it out and that person has the actual definition and they're gonna write the actual definition on a piece of paper.

Speaker 2

其他人都要写下他们认为可能的定义,如果有人真的认识这个词,他们可以写出真实定义,这样能获得更多分数。

Everybody else is gonna write what they think the definition could be, or if they actually know the word, they write the the real definition of it and you get some more points for that.

Speaker 2

然后读词人(即知道真实定义的人)会收集所有人的假定义,并大声念出来。

And then the reader, the person who has the real definition of the word is gonna gather up everybody's fake definitions, and they're gonna read those out.

Speaker 2

你知道,这些假定义可能是愚蠢荒谬的,也可能是听起来像词典里会有的解释,然后大家投票认为哪个定义是正确的。

And, you know, it could be something silly or ridiculous, or, you know, something that sounds like it might be from a dictionary, then you take, you know, a survey of who thinks which definition is the correct one.

Speaker 2

如果你猜中了正确定义,或者让别人相信你的假定义是真的,你就能在轨道上得分,向终点前进。

If you guess the correct definition, or if you get somebody to guess your definition, you get a point on the track and you start moving down towards the end.

Speaker 2

如果你真的猜中了真正的定义,你会得到三分或一定分数,然后沿着轨道前进,或者这一轮可能结束,因为会有两个相同的定义。

If you actually match the real definition, you get like three points or some some amount of points and you move down the track or maybe the round ends because there's two definitions that are gonna be the same.

Speaker 2

所以你会获得一些超级奖励之类的。

So you get some super bonus or something like that.

Speaker 2

总之,这些定义在游戏中的写法,有时会给你一些复杂的解释,就像来自一本非常深奥的词典,或者可能只是一个简单的两词定义。

Anyway, the way these definitions are written, you know, from the game, they give them to you, they'll sometimes give you sort of complex, like it reads from a very sophisticated dictionary, or it might have some simple two word definition.

Speaker 2

所以这让任何水平的玩家都能参与这个游戏。

So that opens it up for any kind of player to play this one.

Speaker 2

他们可以写一个非常复杂的定义,也可以只写两三个词的简短定义,这样孩子们也能参与游戏。

They can write a very complex definition or you can just have a two, three word definition in there so that opens it up for kids to play as well.

Speaker 2

多年来我玩《胡言乱语》游戏获得了无数乐趣。

So I've had tons of fun over the years playing Balderdash.

Speaker 2

我有一阵子没玩了,但很想再重温这个游戏。

I haven't played in a while, but I would love to go back to this one.

Speaker 2

每次玩这个游戏时我都非常开心。

It's been a fun time every time I've played.

Speaker 2

我记得大概10岁左右时,是我爷爷把这个游戏介绍给我们的。

I think my grandpa introduced this one to us when I was 10 years old or something like that.

Speaker 2

全家人玩Balderdash都玩得非常开心。

And the whole family had a great time playing it Balderdash.

Speaker 1

这个游戏里编造那些定义确实有种傻乎乎的乐趣。

Definitely some goofy fun in that game, making up those definitions.

Speaker 1

而且你还能从中获得不少笑料,对吧?

And you can get some pretty good comedy out of that too, can't you?

Speaker 2

是啊,确实如此。

Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 2

有些词本身就够滑稽的,你都不敢相信它们居然是真实存在的。

We've had words that, you know, there's just some silly words themselves in here that you can't believe are actually real.

Speaker 2

我们会把这些词记一整个夏天,时不时拿出来说笑。

And we would hold on to those words the whole summer and refer back to them.

Speaker 2

所以我们有了自己的小默契玩笑。

So we have our little inside jokes.

Speaker 2

就像我说的,现在我只记得几个了。

And like I said, there's only a few that I can remember now.

Speaker 2

我想回去组织一个高中好友的群聊,看看我们能不能想起一些老派Balderdash游戏的词。

I wanna go back and and get a group text going to my high school buddies and see if we can figure out some of these old school Baldrash words.

Speaker 0

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

Balderdash最棒的地方在于,这游戏太精彩了,但最酷的是你甚至不用买游戏套装。

The great thing about Baldrash, this is a fantastic game, but the the one of the cool things about Baldrash is you don't even have to buy a game.

Speaker 0

我小时候是被一些家庭朋友介绍玩这个的。

When I was a kid, I got introduced to this by some family friends.

Speaker 0

他们直接管它叫字典游戏。

They just called it dictionary.

Speaker 0

而且任何要当出题人的人,只需要翻开字典随便选个词,最好是大家都不认识的,然后读出这个词,写下字典里的正确定义,其他人则要编造假的定义。

And even any whoever's gonna be the clue giver, they just can open up a dictionary, find any word they want to, something they don't think anyone's gonna know what it is, say the word, and they'll write down the actual dictionary definition, and then everybody else has to make up an alternative.

Speaker 2

就是这样。

There you go.

Speaker 0

当然,购买盒装游戏的话,它会更好地筛选词汇和定义,让大家玩得更开心。

Now, of course, buying the box game, it's gonna better curate the words and the definitions to make it more fun for everybody.

Speaker 0

我记得里面好像还有一块板子,上面可能有些奖励之类的。

And I remember there's, like, a board with maybe some bonuses on it and stuff like that.

Speaker 0

不过无论如何,试试这款游戏吧。

But, but either way, like, give this game a try.

Speaker 0

这是那种派对风格的精彩游戏之一,我觉得既适合家庭聚会,也完全够格作为派对游戏。

It's a great this is one of those party style games that I think is a great family game, but also qualifies as a great party game.

Speaker 0

因为...确实。

Because Yeah.

Speaker 0

我二十出头时,凌晨两点还和朋友们玩这个,坐在我们简陋的小公寓里,和同龄人玩得不亦乐乎。

I I again, I was in my early twenties playing this with friends on at 02:00 in the morning, you know, sitting in our our little dingy apartment and, having a blast with other kids my age.

Speaker 1

没错。

Right.

Speaker 1

我清单上的下一款是另一个经典。

Next on my list is another classic.

Speaker 1

这是由Alan R. Moon设计的《车票之旅》

It is Ticket to Ride designed by Alan R.

Speaker 1

游戏复杂度评级为1.82,但玩起来感觉没那么复杂

Moon with a weight of 1.82, and yet it doesn't feel like a weight of 1.82.

Speaker 1

实际上感觉比这个评级更轻松

It actually feels lighter than that.

Speaker 1

这是一款老派游戏,堪称经典之作

So this is an old school game, and it's a classic.

Speaker 1

但在我看来,经典之所以成为经典是有原因的,这款游戏就是绝佳例证

But in my opinion, classics get that way for a reason and this game is a perfect example of that.

Speaker 1

玩起来非常有趣,同时又超级容易上手

It's a lot of fun to play, but super duper accessible.

Speaker 1

你要建设火车路线

You're building train routes.

Speaker 1

每回合你都可以选择:抽卡、抽取路线目标卡来完成任务,或是用手上的卡牌来建设路线

Every turn, you're gonna get a chance to either draw cards, draw route cards that give you goals you're trying to achieve, or to build out a route based on the cards that you have in your hand.

Speaker 1

你有不同颜色的火车,可以在美国地图上选择不同的路线进行建设。

You have trains of different colors and different options to build on a map of The United States.

Speaker 1

或者根据你玩的版本不同,可能是其他城市比如旧金山。

Or depending on the version you're playing, it might be other cities like San Francisco.

Speaker 1

这个游戏有多个版本。

So there are multiple versions of this game.

Speaker 1

我一般说的是《车票之旅》,但如果你想要更轻量级的版本,可以选择城市系列中的任意一款你觉得最吸引人的游戏。

I'm talking generally about ticket to ride, but I think you could sort of port over to whichever version of the game seems most appealing to you if you want something a little bit smaller and lighter, get one of the city games.

Speaker 1

但我认为这款游戏也很好地展示了,除了规则设定和主题之外,其他因素如何影响游戏对年轻人或休闲玩家的吸引力。

But I think this game is also a good example of how some of those other things besides the the rule set in the theme can be impactful on the appeal of a game to young people or non serious gamers.

Speaker 1

我之所以这么说,是因为我们几周前讨论过《转弯出租车》,我记得有人评论说。

And the reason I'm saying that is because we talked about turn in taxis, a couple of weeks ago, and I think someone made the comment.

Speaker 1

我不记得具体是谁说的了,说它类似于《车票之旅》但更好玩。

I can't remember which one of you it was that it was similar to Ticket to Ride but was a better game.

Speaker 1

对此我并不反对。

And I wouldn't disagree with that.

Speaker 1

但我也认为,对于年轻玩家来说,Turner and Taxis这款游戏可能不太吸引人,因为它具有非常欧式、老派欧式的外观设计,地图和一堆关于德国城镇的随机卡片。

But I also think that Turner and Taxis is probably not a very appealing game for say a young gamer with that very Euro, old school Euro look with the the map and a bunch of just, you know, random cards about towns in in Germany.

Speaker 1

这款游戏的布局更加丰富多彩。

This game has a more colorful layout to it.

Speaker 1

虽然规则可能不如Tournau and Taxis的游戏风格有趣,但这款游戏更容易上手,尤其是当你看到这张色彩斑斓的大地图时。

The rules may not be quite as interesting as the play style in Tournau and Taxis, but I think this one is more accessible, especially when you look at this big colorful map.

Speaker 1

事实上,我前几天刚玩过这个游戏。

In fact, I just played this a couple days ago.

Speaker 1

这张地图的尺寸非常壮观。

The map is epic in size.

Speaker 1

所以它在桌面上很有存在感。

So it's got a real table presence.

Speaker 1

我认为,除了这一点,至少在美国(其他地方也是如此),孩子们会对地图上的所有城市都很熟悉。

And I think between that and the fact that, you know, at least in The United States, this would be true everywhere that the, you know, kids are gonna be familiar with all the cities on here.

Speaker 1

这使得游戏非常容易上手且充满乐趣,同时也相对简单且容易上手。

That makes it very accessible and a lot of fun as well as being relatively simple and moderately easy to play.

Speaker 0

克里斯,这个选择很棒。

Chris, this was a great pick.

Speaker 0

它没出现在我的清单上的唯一原因是,正如我提到的,我的标准之一是不选带有攻击性的游戏。

The only reason it wasn't gonna be on my list is, as I mentioned, one of my my criteria was to not pick mean games.

Speaker 0

《车票之旅》可能会带有攻击性,我见过因此产生的不愉快。

Ticket to Ride can be a mean game, and I have seen hurt feelings from it.

Speaker 0

我的意思是,你可以故意阻断别人正在争取的路线,即使你自己根本没打算走那条路线。

And what I mean by that is that you can literally intentionally block off a route that you see somebody's going for even if you have no intent of going for that route.

Speaker 0

这本身没什么问题。

That's all fine.

Speaker 0

对大多数群体来说,这完全没问题。

For most groups, it's gonna be perfectly fine.

Speaker 0

大多数家庭还是会喜欢它的。

Most families will still enjoy it.

Speaker 0

我提到这个只是因为我的父母——我妈妈和爸爸都很喜欢这款游戏。

I only mentioned that because my dad and mom my mom and dad love this game.

Speaker 0

他们总是要求玩这个游戏,但他们制定了一条家庭规则,或者说家规,规定我们玩的时候必须遵守。

They they asked to play it all the time, but they instituted a family rule that they said or a house rule that we are not allowed to play without.

Speaker 0

他们的家规是:如果你不能用手中的车票去某个地点,就不允许在那里建造路线。

Their house rule is if you can't use that location in a ticket that you have to build towards, you're not allowed to play there.

Speaker 0

这条规则其实不太好执行,但它的精神是不要故意去阻挡别人,我想是因为他们之前互相阻挡得太频繁,开始为此生气了。

Now this is not a very enforceable rule, but the spirit of it is that don't get in there and block somebody else because I think they were doing it to each other too much and started to get angry about it.

Speaker 0

不过总之,《车票之旅》确实很棒。

But anyway, yeah, Ticket to Ride is great.

Speaker 0

亚当,我从没听你聊过《车票之旅》。

Adam, I've never heard you talk about Ticket to Ride.

Speaker 0

你有机会玩过吗?

Have you ever had a chance to play it?

Speaker 2

我超爱《车票之旅》。

I love Ticket to Ride.

Speaker 0

Have a

Speaker 2

我在萨克拉门托生活时经常玩这个游戏,我们玩得很激烈,那会儿我大概三十多岁,正是玩《车票之旅》的年纪。

phase in when I was living in Sacramento when we would play this one all the time, we'd get savage with each other, you know, so this was in my 30s or something when I was playing Ticket to Ride.

Speaker 2

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

克里斯,你还没提到那些小火车呢。

And one thing you didn't mention Chris was the little trains.

Speaker 2

孩子们特别喜欢这个。

Kids love this one.

Speaker 2

游戏里有小小的火车模型可以摆弄,还能把它们放在地图上。

There's little teeny trains that you get to play with and fiddle around with and put them out there on the map.

Speaker 2

这也是个很棒的亮点。

So that's a delight as well.

Speaker 1

嗯。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

不。

No.

Speaker 1

很高兴你提醒了我这一点,Adam。

That's I'm glad you reminded me of that, Adam.

Speaker 1

那些小火车摆起来真的很有趣。

Those trains are a lot of fun to put out there.

Speaker 1

即使对成年人来说,摆放它们也很有意思。

Even for a grown up, they're fun to put out there.

Speaker 1

至于游戏里的竞争性,我明白你的意思,Tim。

As for the meanness of it, I do get what you're saying, Tim.

Speaker 1

不过有趣的是,前几天我和姐姐、姐夫玩的时候,我和Paul(姐夫)拼命想通过抢路线来压制对方。

Although interestingly, when I was playing it a couple of days ago, I was playing with my sister and my brother-in-law and my brother-in-law, Paul and I were trying so hard to like savage each other by like stealing routes.

Speaker 1

结果当然是我姐姐赢了,因为我们只顾着互相较劲。

And and of course, my sister won because we were doing that.

Speaker 1

但我发现即使我们试图这样做,游戏里还有很多其他路线选择可以迂回。

But what I found was that even though we were trying to do that, there's so many options you can work around if you need to kind of find another way.

Speaker 1

不过我完全理解你说的意思。

But I I totally get what you're saying.

Speaker 0

好的。

Alright.

Speaker 0

下一个轮到我了。

Next one for me.

Speaker 0

我最后要推荐的两款游戏规则稍微复杂些,但根据我的经验,它们依然是非常适合家庭的好游戏。

I'm getting a little bit heavier in weight here for my last two, but I think still very good family games or at least have been in my experience.

Speaker 0

第一个严格来说有点取巧,因为它实际上是一个游戏系列。

The first is is mildly kind of cheat, and that's because it's really a series of games.

Speaker 0

这里我要说的是密室逃脱类桌游。

So what I'm talking about here is escape room in a box style games.

Speaker 0

市面上有几个非常受欢迎的系列。

There's a couple really popular series.

Speaker 0

一个是Unlock系列,另一个是Exit系列。

One is the unlock series, and one is the exit series.

Speaker 0

它们虽然各有特色,但本质上属于同类游戏。

They're kinda different, but they they do the same thing.

Speaker 0

两者的核心概念都是:你打开盒子,查看顶部的卡片或页面,上面会描述你当前所处的场景。

And the idea being that both of them, you open the box, you look at the top card or the top page, and it says, here's the situation you're in.

Speaker 0

利用现有线索设法脱困。

Use the clues available and get out of it.

Speaker 0

这个系列中我最喜欢的是'解锁'系列。

My favorite in this series is the unlock series.

Speaker 0

这个可能稍微简单一些。

Now this is a little bit simple.

Speaker 0

我知道不是所有人都和我有同感。

I don't think that everybody feels the same way as I do.

Speaker 0

但在玩过很多款之后,我认为'解锁'系列特别适合家庭游戏的原因在于它总是有非常清晰的解谜路径。

After But playing a lot of them, what I like about the unlock series, and I think is a family style game especially, is that there's always a pretty clear path.

Speaker 0

基本玩法是:你拿到这套卡片,然后翻开一张。

Basically, what happens, you got this deck of cards, and you're gonna flip over a card.

Speaker 0

卡片可能会展示一个房间的图片,或者提供一些文字说明你被困在某个房间里。

And it's gonna maybe it shows you a picture of a room, or maybe it gives you some text and says you're stuck in a room.

Speaker 0

抽出下一张卡片,看看房间的图片。

Pull the next card out and and look at the picture of a room.

Speaker 0

在那个房间里,会有一些你可以互动的线索。

And in that room, there are gonna be clues around that you can interact with.

Speaker 0

而且通常这些线索都很简单。

And, usually, they're pretty simple.

Speaker 0

你会发现很多线索都是房间里物品上印着的小数字。

A lot of the clues you're gonna find are little numbers you see printed on things around the room.

Speaker 0

比如你看到数字59,就去找第59号卡片——在抽出卡片前你只能看到所有卡片的背面。

So if you see the number 59, you look at that, you go to card number 59 that you only see the backs of all the cards until you, you know, pull one out of the deck.

Speaker 0

翻到59号卡片的背面,把它从牌堆里抽出来展示。

Go to the back of 59, you pull it out of the deck and reveal it.

Speaker 0

可能那是一个物品。

And maybe it's an object.

Speaker 0

也可能是因为你互动并看到数字的物品是一扇门,那可能是你要互动的另一个房间之类的。

And maybe it is a maybe because the the object you interacted with and saw that number on was a door, maybe it's another room you're interacting with or whatever.

Speaker 0

所以大部分卡片都会是这些视觉小线索,你需要想办法把谜题拼凑起来。

So most of the cards are gonna be these little visual clues, and you have to figure out how to put the puzzle together.

Speaker 0

有些物品会带有类似左拼图块或右拼图块的特征。

Some of the objects have a kind of a left puzzle piece or a right puzzle piece.

Speaker 0

比如你可能收集了四个不同物品,但如果能在正确情境下将两个正确物品组合,就能解开谜题。

And so maybe you've picked up four different objects, but if you can figure out in the right situation to put the right two objects together, then you can solve the puzzle.

Speaker 0

所以你可能需要在这个小应用里输入三个不同数字(这是个需要配合应用的游戏),它会给你所需的密码。

So you you might have to plug in three different numbers into this little, it is app assisted into this little app, and it will give you the code you need.

Speaker 0

所有这些谜题都相当有趣。

So all of these things are decently interesting puzzles.

Speaker 0

至少我玩过的都挺有意思。

At least all of them I played.

Speaker 0

大多数谜题只要稍加思考就能解决,但有时也会卡关,不过应用会提供一些提示辅助。

Most of them are easy enough to accomplish with a little bit of thought, but you can get stuck, but they've got the the app assist gives you some clues.

Speaker 0

所以如果你真的卡住了,可以根据自己的意愿选择游戏难度。

So if you ever really get stuck, you can kinda play it as difficult as you want to.

Speaker 0

你想花半小时来解开一个线索吗?

You wanna spend half an hour trying to solve a clue?

Speaker 0

你可以坐在那儿盯着这张图片看一会儿。

You can sit there and stare at this picture for a while.

Speaker 0

如果你觉得不行的话。

If you're like, no.

Speaker 0

我们继续下一个谜题吧。

Let's move on to the next puzzle.

Speaker 0

你可以直接打开应用,它会给你提示,这样你就能解开了。

You can just go to the app, and it will give you a clue, and you can get out.

Speaker 0

游戏设计时长是60分钟。

They're supposed to play in sixty minutes.

Speaker 0

上面有个计时器,所以玩的时候会有点小紧张和刺激感。

There are there is a timer on it, so there's a little bit of excitement and tension that goes along with it.

Speaker 0

这些设计效果非常好。

These have worked really well.

Speaker 0

我发现休闲玩家通常最多四人一起玩。

I found with casual gamers, they they play up to four players typically.

Speaker 0

两人玩也很适合。

They work great at two as well.

Speaker 0

我和妻子经常玩这些,也会和其他成年人组队,或者我们一家三口一起玩。

My wife and I have done a lot of these, but I've gotten together with other a group of other adults or me, my wife, and my daughter will get together.

Speaker 0

我们会坐下来玩一局。

We'll sit down and play one of these.

Speaker 0

你知道最多只需投入一小时,时间很固定。

You know you're not committed for more than an hour, so it's like a set amount of time.

Speaker 0

你要在计时结束前解开所有谜题逃出去。

You're trying to beat all the puzzles and get out before the timer runs out.

Speaker 0

即使没成功,通常也能完成大部分内容,享受到很多解谜乐趣。

And, if you don't, typically, you're gonna get a good way through it and get get to enjoy a lot of puzzles with it.

Speaker 0

游戏主题很有趣,而且变化多样。

There are fun themes on them, and it can be very varied.

Speaker 0

我最喜欢的是《戈尔塞医生之岛》,因为我们是四人一起玩的,感觉特别棒。

My favorite is the, the island of doctor Gorse, which was really cool because we played it four player.

Speaker 0

我觉得这是少数需要四人才能玩的游戏,而且在某个阶段会把团队分成两组。

I think it's one of the rare ones where you have to have four players, but it actually splits up the team at some point.

Speaker 0

你知道,大家需要互相配合。

You know, you're all cooperating.

Speaker 0

你们要一起解决这些谜题。

You're working together on these puzzles.

Speaker 0

你们会一起查看相同的卡片。

You're looking at the same cards together.

Speaker 0

在这个游戏里,它会指示说:好了。

In this one, it basically said, okay.

Speaker 0

两名玩家往一个方向走。

Two players go in one direction.

Speaker 0

他们基本上,你知道的,就在这个隐秘的堡垒里。

They're basically, you know, in this hidden, fortress.

Speaker 0

两名玩家朝一个方向走,他们得解决桌子另一边的谜题。

Two players go in one direction, and they've gotta solve puzzles on the other side of the table.

Speaker 0

两名玩家朝另一个方向走。

Two players go in the other direction.

Speaker 0

所以这两组人分开行动真的很有趣。

And so it was so fun for these two different groups to split up.

Speaker 0

我们能听到其他人在说话,但不会帮他们解谜。

We could hear the other people talking, but we're not helping out in their puzzles.

Speaker 0

最后终于找到方法重新汇合。

And then eventually found a way to get back together and reconnect.

Speaker 0

那个设计真的很棒。

That one was really cool.

Speaker 0

如果你想找一款适合全家包括孩子的游戏,《星球大战:解锁》就很棒,特别适合星战迷家庭。

If you want one that's really family friendly for kids as well, Star Wars unlock is great if you've got a Star Wars family.

Speaker 0

这个盒子里有三个不同的谜题,三款不同的解锁游戏都装在一个盒子里。

This is a this is a box that has three different puzzles in it, three different unlock games all in one box.

Speaker 0

它们都很有主题性。

They're all very thematic.

Speaker 0

你正在《星球大战》的世界里互动,解决一些有趣又精彩的谜题。

You're interacting in the Star Wars world, some good and interesting puzzles.

Speaker 0

我得说偶尔你会遇到一些谜题,可能是印刷错误或者实际上无法解决的。

I will say every once in while, you'll run into a puzzle in some of these that are maybe a misprint or actually can't be solved.

Speaker 0

我就遇到过几个这样的。

I found a couple of those.

Speaker 0

所以有时候你必须做个决定,比如'我们搞不定这个'。

So you kind of have to make a decision at some point, like, we can't figure this out.

Speaker 0

那就继续前进吧。

Let's move on.

Speaker 0

最终你可能会发现那是因为某个错误导致的。

Ultimately, you may find that it was because of a mistake.

Speaker 0

虽然这点很遗憾,但这些游戏整体上还是很棒的。

So that's unfortunate, but these are great.

Speaker 0

不过,任何一款密室逃脱桌游,我和直系亲属一起玩时都很开心,也和亲友一起玩过。

Any of the escape room in a box games, though, I've had a great time playing with my immediate family, but I've also played with, like, family friends.

Speaker 0

所以这类游戏会很受那些喜欢解谜、爱动脑筋的特定人群欢迎。

So these can be a hit with the right type of people that like solving puzzles that like to think a little bit.

Speaker 2

蒂姆,这些游戏总是很吸引我。

Tim, these always look appealing to me.

Speaker 2

我有几款这样的游戏。

I have a couple of these.

Speaker 2

我有几款‘Exit’系列的,对。

I have a couple of the exit Yeah.

Speaker 2

就在那边放着。

Boxes down there.

Speaker 2

我记得打开其中一款时,它要求你剪东西、拆东西,你得破坏部分道具才能解开谜题,我觉得这设计挺巧妙的。

And I remember opening one of these up and it asks you to cut stuff up and break stuff and do this So you have to, like, kinda destroy some of the stuff to solve the puzzle, which I thought was kinda neat.

Speaker 2

你试过《天才小医生》那款尼尔·帕特里克·哈里斯联名的游戏吗?

Have you ever tried any of the Doogie Howser, Neil Patrick Harris?

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

一号盒子和二号盒子。

Box one and box two.

Speaker 0

对。

Yep.

Speaker 2

嗯。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

你试过那些吗?

Have you tried those?

Speaker 0

试过。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我玩过一号盒子,真的非常有意思。

I played box one and it's really, really cool.

Speaker 0

很好玩。

It's fun.

Speaker 0

这个盒子真是出人意料。

It's surprising, this box.

Speaker 0

我曾经拥有它,但后来把它送给了别人。

I I owned it and ended up giving it away to somebody.

Speaker 0

真的很有趣。

It's really fun.

Speaker 0

它有多种玩法。

It goes in a variety of ways.

Speaker 0

就是这个小零件盒。

It's this little box of components.

Speaker 0

看起来内容不多,但令人惊讶的是,里面的谜题设计得非常巧妙。

It doesn't look like it has a lot going in, but surprisingly, the puzzles take you in really neat ways.

Speaker 0

我绝对推荐你试试看。

I would definitely recommend trying it out.

Speaker 0

不过我听说作为续作的盒子二,让所有玩过盒子一的人都大失所望。

Now I've heard box two, which is supposed to be the follow-up on that, was a big letdown for everybody that had played box one before.

Speaker 0

我不知道我会对此作何感想。

I don't know how I would feel about it.

Speaker 0

我还没试过,也不知道你是否先玩了盒子二。

I haven't, and I don't know if you went to box two first.

Speaker 0

也许你不会失望,因为你有着不同的期待或类似的想法。

Maybe you wouldn't be let down because you had a different expectation or something like that.

Speaker 0

所以我对那个盒子无法评价。

So I can't speak to that one.

Speaker 0

不过,第一盒确实很有趣。

But yeah, box one was fun.

Speaker 0

这正是一个很好的例子,展示了盒装游戏中类似的风格。

And and that's a great example of a, you know, similar style of game in a box.

Speaker 2

我正想说,尼尔·帕特里克·哈里斯从《天才小医生》到《星河战队》的转变如何?

I was gonna say, how about Neil Patrick Harris going from Doogie Howser to Starship Troopers?

Speaker 2

多棒的电影啊。

What a great movie.

Speaker 2

而且我觉得他还有...他有一份丰富的履历,一份有趣的履历,我记得他演过《消失的爱人》。

And then I think he was also he's he's got a big resume, an interesting resume, and he I think he was in Gone Girl.

Speaker 2

你们看过那部电影吗?

Have you guys seen that movie?

Speaker 2

那部电影太疯狂了。

That movie's crazy.

Speaker 0

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

《消失的爱人》很棒。

Gone Girl is great.

Speaker 0

最近还看到他了。

Most recently, saw him.

Speaker 0

看到他在最新一季《嗜血法医》里出现时我惊呆了。

I was shocked to see him in the latest season of Dexter.

Speaker 0

你知道吗?

You know?

Speaker 0

所以,就像《嗜血法医》,这部剧讲的是一个试图改邪归正的连环杀手。

So, like, Dexter, this is the show about the serial killer who's trying to be good.

Speaker 0

他只杀其他连环杀手。

He only kills other serial killers.

Speaker 0

这部剧原本有四季,四个不同的季度,然后就完结了。

They there was a four season the four different seasons, and then the show is over.

Speaker 0

但后来他们又重启了,还多拍了两季。

But then they brought it back, and there was two more seasons.

Speaker 0

最近一季他在纽约,《天才小医生》里的尼尔·帕特里克·哈里斯居然也在剧里客串了。

And the most recent one where he's in New York, Doogie Howser, Neil Patrick Harris actually makes an appearance in the show.

Speaker 0

看到他的小客串还挺有趣的。

Was fun to see his little guest appearance there.

顺便说一句,那也是个连环杀手角色,特别搞笑。

That's another serial killer, by the way, which is hilarious.

Speaker 0

完美。

Perfect.

Speaker 0

你也认识尼尔·帕特里克·哈里斯吧。

And you know Neil Patrick Harris.

Speaker 0

他作为演员的戏路很广。

It's it's he's got a big range as an actor.

Speaker 1

蒂姆,我也很喜欢这类游戏。

I've also enjoyed these kind of games, Tim.

Speaker 1

我其实玩过几款以节日日历为主题的游戏,是的。

I've actually played a couple that were styled as holiday calendars, which is Yeah.

Speaker 1

当然,很适合这个季节。

Of course, appropriate for this time of year.

Speaker 1

所以玩得很开心。

So so lots of fun there.

Speaker 0

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

我们这里有点晚了,因为等大家听到这期节目时,这个季节已经过去八到十天了。

We're we're a little late here because by the time anyone listens to this, we'll already be, you know, eight days into or ten days into the season.

Speaker 0

在这个季节这么晚才开始玩降临节日历,你得赶不少进度。

So starting a advent calendar this late in the season, you'll have a lot of catching up to do.

Speaker 0

但我非常推荐这些游戏。

But I absolutely recommend these.

Speaker 0

我们今年没玩,但过去几年我和妻子、家人一起玩过。

We didn't do one this year, but my family, my wife and I did them the last couple years.

Speaker 0

我女儿,你知道的,她不是个游戏爱好者。

Every my daughter, you know, she she doesn't she's not a big gamer.

Speaker 0

所以偶尔她会坐下来和我们一起解谜题。

So every once in a while, she'll sit down and solve one of the puzzles with us.

Speaker 0

她容易感到无聊,,所以不会坚持整整三十天。

She tends to get bored so she wouldn't go through the whole thirty days.

Speaker 0

但丹妮尔和我过去几年玩这些游戏时非常开心。

But Danielle and I had a blast going through those the last couple years.

Speaker 2

我清单上的下一款游戏叫《恐龙大战》,盒子上是这么写的,但他们后来不得不修改了名称。

Up next on my list is a game called Dino Battle is what it says on the box, but they had to amend it.

Speaker 2

我想还有另外几款游戏也叫《恐龙大战》。

I think there's another there are couple games called Dino Battle.

Speaker 2

所以如果你在Board Game Geek上找这款游戏,它的全称是《恐龙大战:逻辑游戏》。

So if you're looking for this one on Board Game Geek, it's Dino Battle colon logical game.

Speaker 2

这款游戏在201年重新发行过,但之前也有相同内容的版本。

And this one was rereleased in 2019, but there was a version before that same thing.

Speaker 2

这有点像井字棋的变体玩法。

And this is kind of a variant on Tic Tac Toe.

Speaker 2

这是我收藏中最多支持四人同乐的游戏,不过也有针对三人和两人的变体规则。

This is one of my games that only plays up to four players, but there's variations for three and two players as well.

Speaker 2

虽然标注适合5岁以上玩家,但游戏里包含不少强力战术玩法。

It says ages five and up, but there's some strong tactical play here.

Speaker 2

Board Game Geek上难度评级是1.0分,但我把它排在《胡言乱语》之后,因为规则有点复杂。

The weight on Board Game Geek is a one point o, but I have this one listed after Balderdash because the rules are a little bit tricky.

Speaker 2

游戏里有多种获胜方式。

So there's different ways to win.

Speaker 2

这里存在不对称的力量设置。

There's asymmetric powers here.

Speaker 2

你可以选择扮演这些植物——应该说是食肉植物,或者选择扮演角龙。

You can either be these plants, these what do say, the carnivorous plants, or you can be the ceratops.

Speaker 2

基本上就是一只小三角龙。

It's basically a little triceratops.

Speaker 2

暴龙或者翼手龙。

The t rexes or the pterodactyls.

Speaker 2

游戏是在一个小型磁性棋盘网格上进行的。

And this is played on a grid on a little magnetic board.

Speaker 2

所以你有小方块棋子,它们带磁性,可以吸附在棋盘上。

So you have little square pieces and they're magnetic and they stick on this board.

Speaker 2

因此触感非常直观。

So it's very tactile.

Speaker 2

把这些棋子放到棋盘上的过程本身就充满乐趣。

It's a delight to put these things on the board.
