EP241 水力系统、储能与一体化方案:柏林Raj的Totex愿景(2025年9月)

EP241 Hydronics, Storage, and a Single Box: Berlin Raj's Totex Vision (September 2025)

Hello and welcome back to the Building HVAC Science Podcast.

Speaker 0

本播客旨在帮助打造更优秀、更专业的暖通空调和建筑性能从业者。

This podcast aims to help create better more knowledgeable HVAC and building performance pros.

Speaker 0

我们希望通过促进这两个专业领域更好地相互理解,最终实现让听众帮助为所有人创造更优质的环境。

We hope to achieve this by helping the two professions better understand each other with the ultimate goal of having our listeners help create better environments for all people.

Speaker 0

在今天的节目中,我和埃里克将与柏林·拉吉对话。

Today's episode, Eric and I get to speak with Berlin Raj.

Speaker 0

他帮助我们深入解析这个‘一体式水力单体系统’的概念,该系统集成了空间调节、生活热水、泳池加热、热能与锂电储能、电动汽车充电集成以及备用电源功能。

He helps us unpack this idea, this concept of a single box hydronic monoblock system that combines space conditioning, domestic hot water, pool heating, thermal and lithium storage, EV charging integration, and backup power.

Speaker 0

这个想法源于柏林一生的动手实践与探索。

Now this is born from Berlin's lifelong tinkering.

Speaker 0

核心理念是:不要再浪费冷凝器的热量。

The idea is stop wasting condenser heat.

Speaker 0

在制冷的同时,将热量回收用于制备热水。

Capture it for hot water while cooling.

Speaker 0

因此,该系统将所有制冷剂密封在室外机组内,并通过PECS向室内风机盘管(有风管或无风管)提供送风和回风。

So the system keeps all refrigerants sealed in the outdoor unit and runs PECS to supply and return indoor air handlers ducted or ductless.

Speaker 0

避免了制冷管道安装和管路布设的所有复杂性和细节问题。

Avoiding all the complications and intricacies of refrigeration piping setup and line runs.

Speaker 0

这款产品有许多有趣的特性,包括1.5至六吨的负荷匹配、为小型面板动态限载(即使在20或30安培电路下)、以及模块化热存储能力,最高可达约100千瓦制冷或55千瓦制热。

There's a lot of interesting aspects to this product including load matching from 1.5 to six tons, dynamic load limiting for small panels even twenty and thirty amp circuits and modular thermal storage up to like a 100 kilowatts cooling or 55 kilowatts of heating.

Speaker 0

此外还配备了一个10.5千瓦时的锂电池组。

As well as a 10.5 kilowatt hour lithium battery pack.

Speaker 0

我刚才说的那些是千瓦时,不是千瓦。

Those were kilowatt hours before what I said just a second ago.

Speaker 0

这是一款专为住宅级商业用途设计的产品。

This is a product that's engineered for residential like commercial use.

Speaker 0

该机组可提供高达165华氏度的热水,在低温室外环境下支持地暖辐射系统,最低可在零下8华氏度运行,并可通过并联实现容量扩展和冗余备份。

The unit can supply hot water up to 165 degrees, support radiant underfloor heating at lower outdoor temperatures and operate down to about minus eight degrees Fahrenheit and can be manifolded for capacity and redundancy.

Speaker 0

因此,这款产品即将上市,坦白说,我是TowTex的顾问之一。

So this is a product that's coming out soon and in full disclosure I'm one of the advisors to TowTex.

Speaker 0

我认为每个人都应该听到、评论并了解这个产品。

I think it's important for everyone to hear, to comment on, and to have visibility about this product.

Speaker 0

柏林在播客访谈中提到了一些精彩的引述。

There's a couple of neat quotes Berlin mentions in the podcast interview.

Speaker 0

为什么要把冷凝器的热量浪费掉,而不是同时用它来制冷房屋和制备热水呢?

Why dump condenser heat when you can use it, cool the house, and make hot water at the same time?

Speaker 0

还有人,人,人。

As well as people, people, people.

Speaker 0

舒适性归根结底是以人为本。

Comfort is ultimately about humans first.

Speaker 0

节目说明中提供了柏林的领英个人资料、Totek网站的链接,你还可以亲自去拜访柏林。

There's some links in the show notes to Berlin's LinkedIn profile, the Totek's website, and you can come visit Berlin in person.

Speaker 0

他将于2025年11月在美国热泵峰会上发表演讲。

He'll be presenting at the US Heat Pump Summit in November 2025.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 0

让我们开始这场与埃里克和柏林·拉吉关于一体式水力储能的访谈。

Let's get into this interview with Eric and I speaking with Berlin Raj about Hydronics storage in a single box.

Speaker 0

柏林·拉吉·托特克的愿景。

Berlin Raj Totek's vision.

Speaker 1

大家好。

Hey, folks.

Speaker 1

欢迎回到《建筑暖通空调科学》播客。

Welcome back to the Building HVAC science podcast.

Speaker 1

这里是埃里克·基瑟。

Eric Kiser over here.

Speaker 1

那边那位了不起的、过度热情的比尔,比尔·斯波恩。

Mister Bill Spone, the great overkill Bill right over there.

Speaker 1

今天我们有一位非常酷的特别嘉宾。

And our special guest today, we got a pretty cool special guest.

Speaker 1

对我来说,对比尔来说,这都是一次令人兴奋的对话,因为我们已经讨论了一段时间了。

This is an exciting one for me and for Bill, I think, because we've been talking about this for a little while.

Speaker 1

柏林·拉吉来自TOTEX。

Berlin Raj from TOTEX.

Speaker 1

柏林实际上来自未来,因为他人在澳大利亚,比我们大约快了十四个小时,我想。

And Berlin is actually kind of from the future because he's in Australia, and he's about fourteen hours ahead of us, I think.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

差不多是这样。

Something like that.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

大概比我们快十四个小时。

Something like fourteen hours ahead of us.

Speaker 1

所以他来自未来。

So he's from the future.

Speaker 1

我们现在和他交谈时,那边已经是明天了,这让我难以置信。

It's tomorrow right now when we're talking to him, which is blowing my mind.

Speaker 1

我已经问他明天怎么样了。

I've already asked him how tomorrow is.

Speaker 1

我不知道。

I don't know.

Speaker 1

明天怎么样啊,柏林?

How is tomorrow, Berlin?

Speaker 2

嗨。

Hi.

Speaker 2

很好。

Good.

Speaker 2

谢谢。

Thank you.

Speaker 2

明天真是太棒了。

Tomorrow is so fantastic.

Speaker 2

明天的咖啡味道也好多了。

The coffees taste so much better too in tomorrow.

Speaker 2

事情变得好多了。

Things are much nicer.

Speaker 2

下了一点雨。

Raining a little bit.

Speaker 2

但没错,当你到了明天,他们就不会迟到了。

But, yeah, when you get to tomorrow, they won't be late.

Speaker 2

一切都会好的。

It'll be fine.

Speaker 0

太棒了。

Brilliant.

Speaker 0

我已经认识你几个月了,我基本上在帮你给一家公司提建议。

I've known you for a few months now, and I'm basically helping you advise a company.

Speaker 0

所以,如果完整地说出来,任何人都可以利用这一点来解读他们想要的东西。

So full story be told, if anybody can use that to interpret what they want about things.

Speaker 0

但在这里,我觉得你正在做一件非常酷的事情。

But here, I think you had something really cool going on.

Speaker 0

我认为最酷的一点是,你在我们开始之前就已经详细解释过你的童年背景了。

And I think the really cool thing and you I think you explained at length before we started a little bit more about your backstory in childhood.

Speaker 0

我就想说,我也做过同样的事。

And I'll just say, I did the same thing.

Speaker 0

我以前经常把东西拆开,偶尔也会再装回去。

I used to take things apart and occasionally put them back together.

Speaker 0

所以我想听听关于童年时的发明家柏林·拉什的一些故事。

So I wanna hear a little bit about the childhood tinkerer Berlin Rush.

Speaker 2

我小时候在印度长大。

Growing up, I grew up in India.

Speaker 2

我的童年相当有趣。

My childhood is quite interesting.

Speaker 2

我无法通过死记硬背来学习东西。

I couldn't learn things by memorizing.

Speaker 2

我对事物的工作原理非常非常感兴趣。

I'm very super, super interested in how things work.

Speaker 2

所以我总是把东西拆开,看看它们是怎么工作的。

So I'm always pulling things apart to see how things works.

Speaker 2

如果你家买了电视、洗衣机之类的东西,下次我父母一出门,我就会把它们拆开,看看是怎么工作的,然后试着装回去。

If you bought a TV or washing machine or something at my home, the next time my parents go away, I will open things apart, see how things works, and try to put it back.

Speaker 2

经常装不回去,所以我就会惹上大麻烦。

Often it doesn't work, so I'll be in a big trouble.

Speaker 2

很快我就学会了修理东西。

Soon I learn how to fix stuff.

Speaker 2

所以我一直为家人、朋友和所有这些人修理这些东西。

So I've been fixing this stuff for my family, friends, all of these people.

Speaker 2

就是那种捣鼓,一直在捣鼓。

Something like tinkering, always tinkering.

Speaker 2

我拆装过电器上百次,可能上千次了。

I got electrical to like over 100, like maybe 1,000 plus times.

Speaker 1

有时候你学得快,有时候显然得花很长时间。

Sometimes you learn and sometimes it takes a while apparently.

Speaker 2

是的,没错。

Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2

嗯。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

关于捣鼓这一点,有趣的是我们小时候没有空调。

One of the interesting thing on the tingering part is like we didn't grow up with air conditioner.

Speaker 2

夏天会非常热。

At summer it can get very hot.

Speaker 2

房子是用砖块和混凝土建造的。

Homes are built with masonry blocks and concrete.

Speaker 2

没有隔热层。

There's no insulation.

Speaker 2

这意味着它会吸收所有的热量。

That means it takes all the heat.

Speaker 2

它是一个巨大的热质量。

It's a big thermal mass.

Speaker 2

尽管夜晚外面的空气会凉下来,但夜晚仍然非常非常热。

Even though the outside air is like cools down at night, it's still very, very hot during the night.

Speaker 2

所以我拿着温度计在家里走来走去,发现我们家前面有个池塘。

So I've been like, walk around the home with a thermometer and see we had a pond in front of our home.

Speaker 2

我怎么能利用凉水来为房子降温呢?

How can I use the cool water to cool the home?

Speaker 2

我怎么能利用外面的冷空气来为房子降温呢?

How can I use the cold air outside to cool the home?

Speaker 2

安装通风风扇之类的设备。

Putting ventilation fans, stuff like that.

Speaker 1

所以你意思是,你很多年前就开始从事暖通空调行业了。

So you started in HVAC a lot of years ago then is what you're saying.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

是啊,很多年前了。

Yeah, lots of years ago.

Speaker 2

这非常困难。

It was very hard.

Speaker 2

童年睡觉的日子很不舒服。

Uncomfortable childhood sleeping days.

Speaker 0

你刚才告诉我们,你曾在印度偏远地区参与过一些项目。

Told us a little while ago that you worked on some projects in remote areas of India.

Speaker 0

你能给我们讲讲这些项目的情况吗?

Can you give us some information on that?

Speaker 2

从我成长起来的那一刻起,我就做了很多不同的工作,比如为家庭布线、为农场安装喷灌系统等等。

As soon as I started throughout my growing up, I had, like, so many different gigs, like doing electrical wiring for homes, sprinklers for farms, things like that.

Speaker 2

所以我迫不及待地想完成工程学业,然后创业。

So I couldn't wait to finish my engineering to start a business.

Speaker 2

一旦我完成工程学业,我们就成立了一家公司,帮助印度的医院改善电力系统。

So once I finished my engineering, we set up a company to help hospitals in India with their power systems.

Speaker 2

在印度,常常每周只有十二个小时有电。

So in India, often, like, twelve hours in a week, there won't be power.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们正在运行这些昂贵的发电机。

That means we are running these expensive generators.

Speaker 2

这些医院在柴油燃料上花费了大量资金。

These hospitals are spending so much money on diesel fuel.

Speaker 2

所以我们帮助他们改善电力系统。

So we were helping them with their power systems.

Speaker 2

我们会安装适当容量的发电机,关闭一台发电机,开启较小的发电机以满足需求。

We'll add in rightly sized generators, turn off one generator, turn on the smaller generator to meet the demand.

Speaker 2

这遍布整个印度。

This is all across India.

Speaker 2

所以在大多数这些项目中,我们最大的困扰仍然是供暖、制冷和热水。

So in most of these projects, the biggest headache we had came from heating and cooling, again, and hot water.

Speaker 2

70%的能源需求都用于这些方面,而我们在这上面花费了太多钱。

The 70% of the demand goes for this, and we've been spending so much money on it.

Speaker 2

这就是我开发一套能降低能源成本的系统的原因。

That's how I worked on a system that can reduce the cost of energy.

Speaker 2

其中一个医院项目,我们提出了一个Totek系统。

One of these hospital projects, we proposed a Totek system.

Speaker 2

我说,好吧,我可以建造这个东西。

I said, okay, I can build this thing.

Speaker 2

我们可以安装一个Totek系统。

We can put a Totek system.

Speaker 2

这就是这个系统。

This is the system.

Speaker 2

这个名字不是Totex。

The name was not Totex.

Speaker 2

于是医院的主任问我们:你们是设计和施工承包商。

So the director of the hospital asked us, okay, you are a design and build contractor.

Speaker 2

你们不是三菱或大金这样的公司。

You're not a Mitsubishi or Daikin.

Speaker 2

你们又该如何建造这个系统呢?

How are you going to build this also?

Speaker 0

所以你似乎喜欢挑战。

So apparently you like challenges.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我喜欢这个。

I like this.

Speaker 2

对。

Yes.

Speaker 1

TOTEX 是你个人的想法吗?还是有几个人一起提出了这个想法,把整个系统整合起来?

TOTEX is kind of an idea you had, or was this a couple of you, couple people that had this idea to put this whole thing together?

Speaker 2

这个想法是我提出的。

I had this idea.

Speaker 2

我主要的想法是,当我们冷却室内空间时,在印度和世界许多地区,制冷需求通常很高。

The main idea I had is when we cooled indoor space, most of the time in India, many parts of the world, the high cooling demand.

Speaker 2

所以当你冷却空间时,室外机将热量排放到室外,而这些热量就被浪费了。

So when you cool the space, the outside unit is heating the air outside, and that heat is wasted.

Speaker 2

我在想,我们怎么才能利用这些热量来加热水呢?

I'm like, how can we use that heat to heat the water?

Speaker 2

我们在加热水上消耗了更多的能量。

We're more energy on heating the water.

Speaker 2

这个想法就是这样产生的。

That's how the idea came out.

Speaker 2

然后,一些非常出色的人加入进来,帮助我把这个想法变为现实。

Then I had some fantastic people coming on board to helping me bring it to life.

Speaker 2

我不是软件工程师。

I'm not a software engineer.

Speaker 2

所以我们现在有了内部的软件工程师。

So now we have software engineers in house.

Speaker 2

这个想法变得越来越好。

The idea is getting better and better.

Speaker 2

现在,这个系统可以一体化地实现供暖、制冷、热水、冷供热、电动汽车充电和备用电源功能。

Now the system can do heating, cooling, hot water, cool heating, EV charging, and backup power, all of that in one.

Speaker 0

你也赢得了一些奖项,一些相当著名的奖项。

You've also won a few awards, some pretty notable ones.

Speaker 0

你能分享一下吗?

Can you share those?

Speaker 2

我们获得了一些奖项。

Got a few of those awards.

Speaker 0

一些比赛、项目之类的。

Some contests and programs and things.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

实际上,我们被提名了几个奖项。

We got nominated actually for a couple of these awards.

Speaker 2

我们被提名了澳大利亚创业生态系统最佳新人奖。

We got nominated for the best newcomer award for the Australian startup ecosystem.

Speaker 2

我们并不想要那个奖。

We didn't want that award.

Speaker 2

我们进入了前四名。

We went to the top four.

Speaker 2

我们还被提名了澳大利亚最佳气候科技初创企业奖,作为近两年内最具潜力的新锐初创企业。

We also got nominated for the best climate tech startup in Australia, the newcomer, Rents, within last two years, what is the best startup coming on board.

Speaker 2

我们也被提名了这个奖项。

We also got nominated for that one.

Speaker 2

我们还没赢得这个奖,但明年可能会赢。

We didn't got it won that one yet, but we'll win that one in the next year, maybe.

Speaker 0

目前的状况如何?未来的计划是什么?

What's the current status and the plans going forward?

Speaker 2

我们现在已开发出这套系统。

We developed the system now.

Speaker 2

目前在澳大利亚有几个试点项目在运行,我们计划进军德克萨斯州。

It's a couple of pilots are running in Australia, and we like to move to Texas.

Speaker 2

所以我计划搬到德克萨斯州。

So I'm planning to move to Texas.

Speaker 0

那还有一段距离。

That's a little ways away.

Speaker 2

没错,是的。

That's right, yeah.

Speaker 2

我去年去过德克萨斯,下周还要去,我们计划明年年初搬过去。

I was in Texas last year, then I'm going to Texas next week, and we plan to move to Texas early next year.

Speaker 2

德克萨斯将是Tortex的理想地点。

Texas will be ideal location for Tortex.

Speaker 0

那这就是公司名字里有'Tex'的原因吗?

And is that why there's Tex in the name of the company?

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

这是好事,对吧?

That's a good thing, isn't it?

Speaker 2

总税收。

Total tax.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

完全是德克萨斯的。

Totally Texas.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

总税的含义是总支出。

The little meaning of total tax is total expense.

Speaker 0

总支出。

Total expense.

Speaker 0

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 2

我们希望到第三年时,总税额成为最低的总支出,并且希望Totex成为最低的总排放量。

We want total tax to be lowest total expense by year three, and we want totex to be lowest total emission.

Speaker 2

这也意味着整体性。

It also means totality.

Speaker 2

所以这是一个单一系统,能完成所有事情。

So it's a single system, does all the things.

Speaker 2

这就是名字的由来。

That's why the name.

Speaker 2

现在我们说了Totex,所以Texas可以在这里。

Now we said totex, so Texas can be there.

Speaker 2

我们之前有Texas。

We had Texas.

Speaker 1

让我们深入探讨一下Totex是什么,因为我敢肯定,现在听这个的很多人心里都在想:等等。

Let's dive into what is totex because I'm pretty sure that a lot of people listening to this right now are going, wait a minute.

Speaker 1

什么?

What?

Speaker 1

谁?

Who?

Speaker 1

这是谁?

Who is this?

Speaker 1

我们以前从来没听说过这个。

We've never heard of this before.

Speaker 1

所以给我们简单介绍一下TOTEX系统,现在它是一个暖通空调系统,但还做了你刚才提到的其他很多事。

So give us a quick overview of what the TOTEX system now it's an HVAC system, but it does a lot of other things that you just mentioned in there as well.

Speaker 2

TOTEX系统是一个一体化的盒子。

Totek system is a single box.

Speaker 2

它是一个室外主机,安装在室外,负责供暖、制冷和热水。

It's a main outdoor unit that sits outside that does heating, cooling hot water.

Speaker 2

你把热水管连接到它上面。

You connect your hot water to it.

Speaker 2

它会加热水。

It heats the water.

Speaker 2

而且它内部还有一个电池。

And it also have a battery inside.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们可以为家庭提供备用电源。

So that means we can provide backup power to the home.

Speaker 2

所有这些都集成在一个箱体内,安装在室外,而室内则有空气处理装置。

This all comes in a single box, sits outside, and then inside the home you have the air handlers.

Speaker 2

它可以是风管式机组或分体式系统,也可以是无风管式机组。

It can be ducted unit or split systems, ductless unit.

Speaker 2

所有部件都通过水力PEX管道连接。

It's all connected through hydronic PEX pipes.

Speaker 1

你只是直接将PEX管道从室外引出,连接到室外机组。

You're just literally running PEX pipes outside, connecting those up to the outdoor unit.

Speaker 1

这个室外机组已经在工厂预制好了。

That outdoor unit is already built in the factory.

Speaker 1

你把PEX管道插上去,就能立即运行了?

You plug the PEX pipes in it, and you're ready to go?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

如今,所有水暖系统都更加复杂。

And today, all the hydronic systems is more complex.

Speaker 2

你需要在室外安装多个阀门和多个循环泵。

You need multiple valves outside, multiple circulator pumps outside.

Speaker 2

我们在设计中大大简化了这些部分。

We reduced a lot of that in our designs.

Speaker 2

现在只需将PEX管道主单元连接到室内单元,冷水加防冻液进入以冷却空间,热水进入以加热室内空间。

So now connect the PEX pipe main unit to the indoor unit, Chilled water plus glycol solution comes in to cool the space, and hot water comes in to heat the indoor space.

Speaker 2

整个制冷剂都保留在主单元内。

The entire refrigerant stays within the main unit.

Speaker 2

这意味着系统是预充注的。

That means the system comes with pre charge.

Speaker 2

不需要在现场抽真空。

Don't need to vacuum it on the site.

Speaker 2

没有需要担心制冷剂泄漏的超声波机械接头。

There's no hypersonal mechanical joints to worry about a refrigerant leak.

Speaker 1

我不得不说,这和我们在美国习惯的做法大不相同。

I'll say that's a big change from what we're used to in The US.

Speaker 1

这被称为一体式系统,有点不一样。

This is what's called a monoblock system, and it's a bit different.

Speaker 1

那么,从风机的角度来看,你必须只用一个室内机,还是可以使用多个室内机?

So do you have to do one indoor unit with this from like a blower perspective, or can you do multiple indoor units?

Speaker 2

我们可以使用多个室内机。

We can have multiple indoor units.

Speaker 2

它可以根据需要连接两个空气处理机组、一个更大的空气处理机组,甚至壁挂式机组。

It can take two air handlers if you need to, a single larger air handler, or even wall units.

Speaker 2

因此,每个房间都可以安装无管道壁挂式机组。

So you can have a ductless wall units on each room.

Speaker 2

所有连接的管道都可以采用菊花链式连接。

And all the pipes that connecting can be daisy chained.

Speaker 2

这意味着你只需要铺设一条主供液管和一条主回液管。

That means you run one to like two main one supply, one return.

Speaker 2

每个室内机都可以从这条主干管分支出来。

Each of these indoor units can be branched from that.

Speaker 2

目前,多联机系统中,每个室内机都需要两根铜管和电源线路。

At the moment, the multi split systems, you need a each indoor unit need two copper pipes and power wiring.

Speaker 2

在Tortex系统中,我们可以像分支一样,从主供液管和回液管延伸出来。

In Tortex, we can, like, daisy chain, like branch out from the main supply and return.

Speaker 1

非常好。

Very nice.

Speaker 1

这确实与我们在美国常见的暖通空调系统连接方式大不相同。

That's definitely something that's a little different than I think a lot of us are used to in The United States from an HVAC perspective is a system that that gets hooked up like that.

Speaker 1

除非你是在大型商业场所,否则我们会谈到冷水和热水之类的系统。

Unless you're in large commercial places, then we talk about chilled water and heated water and things like that.

Speaker 1

但在住宅领域,这实际上是针对住宅领域的。

But in the residential space, and this is really targeting the residential space.

Speaker 1

对吗?

Correct?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

住宅和小型小型商业场所,比如麦当劳、肯德基、小型办公室。

Residential and small and small businesses, like McDonald's, like KFCs, small offices.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以是住宅和商业。

So residential, commercial.

Speaker 1

这很酷。

That's cool.

Speaker 1

你之前提到过,我们正在同时讨论供暖和制冷,你说在冷却室内空气的同时,会将热量直接转移到热水中,而不是把热量排到室外再用另一个设备加热水,对吗?

You said we were talking a little bit ahead of time on this and we're talking about heating water as well as cooling simultaneously, and you told us that this will heat water while it's cooling the indoors, so you're taking that heat out of the indoors, dropping it directly into the hot water rather than dumping that heat outdoors and having to use another device to heat the water, correct?

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 1

能节省多少能效?

What sort of efficiency savings?

Speaker 1

因为在我看来,这改变了能效的评估方式。

Because to me that it changes the way things are rated efficiency wise.

Speaker 1

它改变了设备的运行能效,因为我们不再需要完成这两个独立的步骤。

It changes the way the unit operates efficiency wise because we're not having to do those two separate steps.

Speaker 1

这总体上对电力消耗有什么影响?

What does that do to the electrical consumption overall?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 2

电费取决于你洗多久的澡。

So electrical based on how much shower you get.

Speaker 2

比如我妻子,我洗澡要洗三十到四十分钟。

So my wife, for example, I take thirty minutes, forty minutes shower.

Speaker 2

洗澡是我思考的时间。

Taking shower is my thinking time.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们用Totax省了很多钱。

That means we save a lot of money with Totax.

Speaker 2

从能效比来看,我们的测试机组能效比超过九,九以上。

The COP wise, our test units have a COP of over nine, nine plus.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们充分利用了加热循环的两侧。

That means we are like capturing both side of the heating cycle.

Speaker 2

所有空调都只利用了加热循环的一侧,而放弃了另一侧。

All the air conditioners, we're using one side of the heating cycle and let go of the other ones.

Speaker 2

在冷却空间时,热量侧被浪费了。

The hot side is wasted when we cool the space.

Speaker 2

我们正在捕获它。

We are capturing that.

Speaker 2

然后,这部分的整个一半都被捕获了。

Then the complete the entire half of the portion of that is captured.

Speaker 2

所以COP一夜之间就提升了。

So COP is overnight.

Speaker 2

如果我们需要,也可以用这种热量来加热水池。

We can also use this heat for to heat the pool if we need to.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以如果你家有泳池

So if you have a pool at the house

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

所有这些都属于免费能源。

All of that is free energy.

Speaker 2

这全是水循环系统,所以我们不接触制冷剂。

It's all hydronic loop, so we are not playing with the refrigerant.

Speaker 2

我们不会将制冷剂输送到很远的地方。

We're not sending refrigerant to long distances.

Speaker 2

没有油分离的问题。

There's no oil segregation.

Speaker 2

这有很多优势。

There's a lot of advantages with this.

Speaker 0

你认为为什么以前没人这么做,或者有人以类似方式做过吗?

Why do you think no one's done this before, or have they done it in ways like this?

Speaker 2

他们以前做过。

They have done it before.

Speaker 2

博世有水循环热泵,可以实现供暖、制冷和热水功能。

Bosch have heat pumps, hydronic heat pumps that can do heating, cooling, and hot water.

Speaker 2

一个主要问题是系统非常昂贵,安装也非常复杂。

One main issue is like a very expensive system, and the installation is very complex.

Speaker 2

许多系统都需要整整一面六英尺乘八英尺的墙。

Many of the system, we look at that, they need entire, like, six by eight foot wall.

Speaker 2

整面墙上都布满了管道、接头、泵、排气阀等各种部件。

The entire wall is having all these pipes, fittings, pumps, air releasing valves, all these different things.

Speaker 2

通过新设计和对换热器的一些改进,避免了大量复杂组件。

So avoid a lot of things with the new design, some modifications to heat exchanger.

Speaker 2

使用TOTAX系统,安装将与传统系统非常相似。

With TOTAX, will be like installation will be very similar to traditional systems.

Speaker 2

主室内机与主机之间仅通过两根管道连接。

Connecting the main indoor unit and the main unit are connected to just two pipes.

Speaker 0

所以你希望它足够简单,让年轻的柏林人打开盖子就能明白。

So you want it simple enough that the young Berlin would understand it when he took the lid off.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

所以我们不想要复杂性。

So we don't want complexity.

Speaker 2

随着我们添加越来越多的部件,出故障的可能性也会增加。

As we add more and more parts, there's more things that can fail.

Speaker 2

目前市场上只有非常少的博世热泵能够同时实现供暖、制冷、生活热水和水对水换热,而且价格非常昂贵。

And then there's a very small at the moment, the Bosch heat pumps that can do heating, cooling, hot water, water to water, they're very expensive.

Speaker 2

它的成本超过6万美元,而我们正在降低成本,使其能够与普通空调竞争,同时保留所有这些优势。

It costs over $60,000 And we are lowering the cost so it can compete with the normal air conditioner, Still have all these advantages.

Speaker 0

我们现在有没有详细讨论过为什么选择德克萨斯?

Now did we get into detail in why Texas?

Speaker 2

德克萨斯有好几个不同的特点。

Few different things about Texas.

Speaker 2

那里有供暖需求、制冷需求和热水需求。

They have heating demand, cooling demand, and hot water demand.

Speaker 2

所有这些需求都存在。

All of them there.

Speaker 2

在美国许多北部地区,供暖需求较大,而制冷需求很少。

In many northern parts of US, there's a larger heating demand and rarely need cooling.

Speaker 2

当你同时具备所有需求,特别是制冷需求更高时,整体效益会显著提升。

The total, the benefit is much higher when you have all of them, when you have more cooling demand.

Speaker 2

例如,在德克萨斯州,制冷期长达七个多月。

For example, in Texas, there's like over seven months of cooling period.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们可以提供免费的热水。

That means we can provide free hot water.

Speaker 2

即使室外非常炎热,我们在制冷的同时,仍需要洗热水澡。

Even though it's very hot outside, basically cooling our home, we need to have hot shower.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们可以在七个多月的时间里提供免费热水。

That means we can provide free hot water over seven months.

Speaker 2

例如,在佛罗里达州,制冷期或除湿需求长达十个多月。

In Florida, for example, over ten months of cooling period is there or dehumidification needed.

Speaker 2

因此,在这段时间里,我们可以提供几乎全年的免费热水。

So during that time, we can provide free hot water, almost year round free hot water.

Speaker 2

这是德克萨斯州的一个主要原因。

That's one main reason for Texas.

Speaker 2

德克萨斯州的房屋更大,耗能更多,而且市场更私有化,因此我们在德克萨斯州更容易开展业务。

And Texas houses are larger, they're using more energy, and it's more privatized market, so we can launch in Texas much easier.

Speaker 2

仅德克萨斯州一个州的市场规模就是澳大利亚的两倍。

The Texas state alone is twice as big as in the market size wise, twice as big as Australia.

Speaker 2

在德克萨斯州有很多优势。

A lot of advantages to be in Texas.

Speaker 2

我们仍会继续在澳大利亚运营。

We'll still keep Australia going.

Speaker 2

我们在这里有团队,但我将搬到德克萨斯州,专注于美国市场。

We have our team here, but I'll be moving to Texas to focus on US market.

Speaker 0

今年你会经常在美国,因为你还要参加热泵峰会。

You'll be in The US a lot this year because you're also gonna be at the heat pump summit.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 2

我将在美国热泵峰会上发言。

I'm talking speaking in The US Heat Pump Summit.

Speaker 2

我会亲自与你们见面。

In number, I'll be meeting you in person.

Speaker 2

我也会亲自与埃里克见面。

I'll be meeting Eric in person as well.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 0

还有任何正在收听并打算参加这个峰会的人,请去查一下。

And anyone else who's listening who's going to that summit, look it up.

Speaker 0

Usheatpumpssummit.com。

Usheatpumpssummit.com.

Speaker 0

那里会有大约40位左右的演讲嘉宾。

Quite a cast of speakers there, about 40 or so.

Speaker 0

有很多不同的主题。

A lot of different topics.

Speaker 0

那里有很多事情在发生。

Lots going on there.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

把很多安装人员带进来会非常有趣。

It'll be very interesting to bring in a lot of installers.

Speaker 2

会有几位安装人员到场。

Several installers will be there.

Speaker 2

关于新技术、改进安装、提升客户体验,有太多有趣的话题了。

So many interesting topics on new technologies, making the installation better, making the customer's experience better, so many different ones.

Speaker 2

埃里克会做一个演讲。

Eric is speaking on something.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我会和来自底特律地区的老朋友布赖恩·库克西先生聊聊不同类型的热泵、不同的控制系统以及它们的工作原理。

I'll be talking with mister Bryn Cooksey, good friend of mine from up in the Detroit area, about different types of heat pumps, different types of controls, and how they operate.

Speaker 1

这个话题叫作‘冬季峰值与控制狂’。

It's called winter peaks and control freaks.

Speaker 1

布赖恩和我都非常热衷于正确安装这些热泵,因为现在很多热泵安装得不好,调试也不到位。

And Breen and I are both very passionate about putting these heat pumps in right because right now, a lot of them don't get put in well, and they don't really get set up well.

Speaker 1

这引出了一个与总成本(totex)相关的重要观点。

And that's an interesting point which comes back to totex.

Speaker 1

我很想知道,你们打算为这些系统配备什么样的控制系统?

And I'm curious, what kind of controls are you gonna have on all this?

Speaker 1

是只用传统的24伏恒温器,还是会用通信型控制系统?

Is there just gonna be using conventional 24 volt thermostat, or will it be communicating controls?

Speaker 1

你们打算用哪种?

What sort are you gonna do?

Speaker 2

我们使用的是10英寸触摸屏控制器。

We're using a 10 inch touchscreen controller.

Speaker 2

所以会使用Cortex触摸屏控制器。

So it'd be a Cortex touchscreen controller.

Speaker 2

触摸屏和手机应用控制器将作为我们的控制系统。

And mobile app control touchscreen and the mobile app controller will be our control.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

它现在无法与其他恒温器配合使用。

It doesn't work with other thermostat now.

Speaker 2

它自带我们自己的恒温器。

It comes with our own thermostat.

Speaker 2

主机内的恒温器通过Modbus线和24伏电源连接。

And the thermostat in the main unit is connected through a Modbus wire and a 24 volt.

Speaker 2

由主机提供24伏电源,通信采用Modbus协议。

Powered by 24 volts from the main unit, communication is Modbus.

Speaker 2

它还配备了Wi-Fi、蓝牙以及其他所有功能。

And it has Wi Fi, Bluetooth, and all other bells and whistles.

Speaker 1

在我看来,Modbus是一种非常可靠的通信系统,听到这一点我很高兴。

And Modbus is a very solid communication system in my opinion, so I'm glad to hear that.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

我们采用Modbus的原因是可以与许多其他控制系统集成。

And we can the reason we're having Modbus is then we can integrate with many other control systems as well.

Speaker 2

我们可以接入楼宇管理系统。

We can go into BMS.

Speaker 2

如果有人已经使用了楼宇管理系统,你甚至可以与使用家庭助手的人连接。

If someone already has a BMS, you can even connect with people who use like a home assist.

Speaker 2

如果他们想控制整个系统,我们可以与不同的系统集成。

If they want to control the entire system, we can integrate with different ones.

Speaker 1

非常酷。

Very cool.

展开剩余字幕(还有 356 条)
Speaker 1

那么能耗是多少呢?

So how much energy?

Speaker 1

你提到了电池储能。

You mentioned battery energy storage.

Speaker 1

它也支持热能储存吗?

Does it also do thermal energy storage?

Speaker 1

从能量角度来说,它到底能储存多少?电能方面是这样,我记得你之前还提到它也能储存热能,对吧?

And how much can it really store as far as energy wise, both electrical and I think you said earlier it does thermal as well, correct?

Speaker 2

是的,没错。

Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2

储能系统同时集成了热能和电能。

The energy storage is built with both thermal and electric.

Speaker 2

建筑中70%的能耗来自热能需求。

70% of the demand on a building is thermal.

Speaker 2

所以目前我们所做的,是购买交流电,将其转换为直流电,再将直流电转化为化学能储存,不是热化学能,而是进入化学电池。

So it makes at the moment, what we're doing is we buy energy as AC power, changing that to DC, then DC to thermochemical, not thermochemical, like into chemical batteries.

Speaker 2

当我们将其转换回交流电时,大约会损失15%。

Then when we convert it back to AC power, we're losing around 15% on it.

Speaker 2

这是一个更昂贵的过程。

It's more expensive process.

Speaker 2

因此,我们在系统内部配备了一个较小的锂离子电池,容量为10.5千瓦时,以及一个更大的热电池。

So what we're doing is there's a smaller lithium battery inside the system, 10 and a half kilowatt hour of lithium battery, and larger thermal battery.

Speaker 2

热电池在制冷侧的容量超过100千瓦时,在制热侧为55千瓦时。

Thermal battery has a capacity over 100 kilowatt hour on the cooling side and 55 kilowatt hour on the heating side.

Speaker 2

这是热能存储与锂离子存储的混合系统。

It's a hybrid between thermal energy storage and lithium energy storage.

Speaker 1

那么,锂离子存储会驱动压缩机或其他设备,从热存储中提取热能。

So the lithium energy storage would then run the compressor or whatever else to extract that thermal heat from the thermal storage.

Speaker 1

是这样运作的吗?

Is that how that would work?

Speaker 1

或者

Or

Speaker 2

这是个好问题。

That's a good question.

Speaker 2

锂电仅用于驱动这些循环泵,将热能储存介质输送到储能装置再到室内机组。

The lithium is running only this circulator pumps there to move the thermal energy storage medium to the energy storage to the indoor unit.

Speaker 2

在电价高峰时段,也就是傍晚电价极其昂贵的时候,我们不会运行燃烧器。

When there is peak pricing, the evening times when the energy price is super expensive, we are not running the combustor.

Speaker 2

我们仅运行这些循环泵,利用热能为室内空间制冷或供暖。

We are not just running these circulator pumps to provide it uses the thermal energy to cool or heat the indoor space.

Speaker 2

锂离子电池还可以为家中的其他设备供电,比如照明、电脑和烹饪等所有不同设备。

And the lithium battery can also power everything else in the home, like lights and computer and cooking, all the different things.

Speaker 2

这本质上就像一个内置的特斯拉Powerwall。

It's essentially a Tesla Powerwall comes within the system.

Speaker 2

特斯拉Powerwall的储能容量为13.5千瓦时,而我们的系统为10.5千瓦时。

A Tesla Powerwall has 13 and a half kilowatt hour of energy storage, Totex at 10 and a half.

Speaker 2

家庭的供暖和制冷完全依赖于特斯拉Powerwall。

And the heating and cooling on a home fully depends on the Tesla Powerwall.

Speaker 2

在Totex系统中,供暖和制冷主要依赖于热能存储。

In Totex system, the heating and cooling is depending on the thermal energy storage, majority, mostly.

Speaker 2

一旦热能存储耗尽,我们就可以使用锂电来驱动压缩机,以加热或冷却空间。

Once the thermal energy storage is run down, then we can use the lithium to run the compressor to heat and cool the space as well.

Speaker 0

因此,要做出这些关于能量存取和分配的决策,需要大量的数据管理。

So there's a lot of data management to make all these decisions about where to put the energy, where to take and put the energy.

Speaker 0

这是系统本身就知道如何处理,还是通过学习掌握的?

Is that something that the system knows how to do or learns how to do?

Speaker 2

它懂一点,并且会持续学习。

It knows a little bit and learns, continuously learns.

Speaker 2

它的学习方式就像有些人:白天家里没人,只在晚上使用能源。

The way it learns is like some people, they'll be like, no one will be at home during the daytime.

Speaker 2

他们只在晚上使用能源。

They'll be using energy only at evening.

Speaker 2

我们会观察这些模式,同时也结合天气情况。

Then we see the patterns of how things are going, also based on weather.

Speaker 2

所以我们能预测未来五天的天气走向。

So we can understand where is the weather is going the next five days.

Speaker 2

然后我们就知道明天和接下来几天会消耗多少能量。

Then we know how much energy we are going to consume tomorrow and the following days.

Speaker 2

接着我们可以决定需要购买和储存多少能量,或者进行优化。

Then we can choose how much energy we need to buy and store, or we can optimize.

Speaker 2

或者我们可以这么说,好吧。

Or we can say, okay.

Speaker 2

周六我要去游泳池。

Saturday, I'm going to use the pool.

Speaker 2

把泳池加热到30度。

Bring the pool to 30 degrees.

Speaker 0

在一天中的某个特定时间。

By a certain time of day.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

那么我们就知道该如何操作来达到那个温度。

Then we know, okay, how to operate to reach that temperature.

Speaker 1

对于在美国收听的各位,他说的是30度。

And for those of you listening in The US, he said 30 degrees.

Speaker 1

那是摄氏度。

That's Celsius.

Speaker 1

对于泳池来说,这温度真的很高。

That's really warm for a pool.

Speaker 0

哦,也可能是冰浴。

Oh, it could be an ice plunge.

Speaker 2

那会很有趣,不是吗?

That'll be fun, isn't it?

Speaker 2

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

那将是一次极其寒冷的冰浴。

That's going to be a hard ice plunge right there.

Speaker 0

这很难。

It is hard.

Speaker 1

在30度的时候。

At 30 degrees.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

那大约是86华氏度。

That is like 86 degree Fahrenheit.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 2

我们的一位客户,他妻子如果水温低于90度就不肯下水。

One of our customers, his wife won't go into the pool if it is less than 90 degrees.

Speaker 2

哇。

Wow.

Speaker 2

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

所以,大概是31度。

So, like, 31.

Speaker 2

所以,差不多90华氏度。

So, like, close to 90 degrees.

Speaker 0

我认为美国红十字会说,游泳而不感到不适的最高温度是82或84度。

I think the American Red Cross says 82 or 84 is the max for swimming without suffering.

Speaker 2

这简直像桑拿房,先生。

It's almost a sauna, sir.

Speaker 2

是啊。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

但这很好地凸显了个人偏好的差异,因为有些人希望水温再高一点,因为他们的身体状况不同,而热舒适性是非常非常个人化的。

But that is a very good highlight of differences in personal preference because some people want that a little bit more heat because their body is different, and thermal comfort is very, very personal.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

同意。

Agree.

Speaker 0

你能详细说明一下安装流程吗?

Can you walk through the install process?

Speaker 0

所以我们将推进到明年,也就是十八个月后。

So we'll move ahead to next year, eighteen months from now.

Speaker 0

承包商有一个客户想要安装一台。

Contractor has a customer that wants one installed.

Speaker 0

不是购买流程,而是安装流程。

Not the buying process so much, but the installation process.

Speaker 0

他们会收到多少个组件装在一个托盘上?每一步需要做什么?

They're gonna receive, like, how many components on a pallet, and what are they gonna need to do step by step?

Speaker 2

就安装而言,主要组件有四个。

On the installation wise, the main components are, like four main components.

Speaker 2

一个是放在室外的主机,另一个是安装在室内的空气处理单元。

One is the main unit that sits outside, and then the air handler unit that goes in.

Speaker 2

还有一个水箱。

And there's a water tank.

Speaker 2

它就像一个普通的水箱,一个100加仑的热水水箱,用于热能存储系统。

It'll be just like a normal water tank, a 100 gallons water tank for the hot water, and the thermal energy storage model.

Speaker 2

所以一切都是模块化的。

So it's all modular.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们可以选择是否配备热能存储系统。

That means we can choose to have the thermal energy storage model or not to have the thermal energy storage model.

Speaker 2

我们可以选择将水、主机组件和室内机组件通过PEX管道连接。

We can choose to have the water, the main unit and the indoor unit connected to PEX pipe.

Speaker 2

目前,我们是通过铜管连接液管和气管。

At the moment, we are connecting a liquid line and a gas line to copper pipes.

Speaker 2

我们原本以为会使用PEX管道。

We thought that it'll be a PEX pipe.

Speaker 2

将主机组件与室内机组件连接的将是一英寸的PEX管道。

It'll be a one inch PEX pipe connecting the main unit to the indoor unit.

Speaker 2

安装过程与传统系统非常相似,但不需要铜管扩口。

And the installation process is very similar to traditional system, but there's no copper flaring.

Speaker 2

没有任何机械接头。

There's no mechanical joints.

Speaker 2

连接PEX管道很容易。

It's easy to connect PEX pipe.

Speaker 1

明白了。

Gotcha.

Speaker 1

然后他们需要在PEX管道里加一些乙二醇溶液吗?

And then they're gonna have to put some glycol solution in that PEX pipe?

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

加注、充装,这不仅仅是简单的充注。

Loading it, charging it, it's not just charge.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

这是一个用于填充乙二醇溶液的充注点。

It is a charging point to fill in the glycol solution on it.

Speaker 2

系统已经预充了制冷剂,因此我们不需要再进行制冷剂充注。

The system comes with already a refrigerant charge in it, so we don't need to do the refrigerant charging.

Speaker 0

这是一个封闭循环吗?

And that's a contained loop?

Speaker 2

是的,封闭循环,密闭回路。

Yeah, contained loop, closed loop.

Speaker 2

PEX管道很容易连接,就像快接接头一样。

And the PEX pipe, it can be easy to connect, like a shock pipe fittings type.

Speaker 2

这意味着安装会简单得多。

So that means the installation will be much easier.

Speaker 2

压力只有原来的一半,是低压操作。

And the pressure is much half the pressure has a tap pressure.

Speaker 2

因此,管道破裂和泄漏的风险非常低。

So any pipe bursting, risk on pipe bursting and leaks are very, very less.

Speaker 1

是的,因为这是一个封闭循环,所以也不会有无穷无尽的水从里面流出来,对吧?

Yeah, because it's a closed loop, so you're not going to have an endless amount of water coming out of it either, right?

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

有电流范围吗?

Is there a amperage range?

Speaker 0

功耗是多少?

What's the power consumption?

Speaker 0

瓦特?

Watts?

Speaker 2

所以是30安培,240伏电压。

So the 30 ampere, two forty, two forty voltage.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以是30安培的电路?

So 30 amps 30 amp circuit?

Speaker 2

30安的电路。

The 30 amp circuit.

Speaker 2

压缩机是变频的。

It's a the compressor is modulating.

Speaker 2

这意味着我们可以让它运行得非常非常低。

That means we can run it like very, very less.

Speaker 2

它可以在1.5吨到6吨之间运行。

It can run for 1.5 tons to six tons.

Speaker 2

它可以上下调节。

It can vary up and down.

Speaker 2

制冷能力为六吨,制热能力为七吨,因此我们可以实现负载匹配。

Six tons on the cooling capacity, seven tons on the heating capacity, so we can load match.

Speaker 1

但既然在乙二醇侧具备负载匹配能力,你们实际上并不会那样运行。

But then with the ability to load match on the glycol side, you're not really gonna run that.

Speaker 1

压缩机在运行,并不意味着水侧就必须提供一吨半的制冷量,对吧?

Just because a compressor's running doesn't mean you've got to have a ton and a half of cooling on the water side, correct?

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

所以你

So you

Speaker 1

可以把水侧的调节能力降到低于一吨半。

can modulate that water side down even lower than a ton and a half.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

它可以精确匹配室内需求。

It can match exactly what is the indoor requirement is.

Speaker 2

在环境侧,我们还有一个叫做动态负载平衡的特性。

On the ambient side, we also have a take called dynamic load balancing.

Speaker 2

这意味着如果某人的电力容量有限,我们可以匹配其最大值。

So that means if someone has a limited power capacity, we can match their maximum.

Speaker 2

我们可以让系统运行,确保不超出他们的负载容量。

We can run the system so that we are not consuming more than their load capacity.

Speaker 2

因此,我们可以将家中的主断路器设置为,比如说50安培。

So we can set the main circuit breaker on the home, like let's say it's a 50 ampere.

Speaker 2

如果正在大量烹饪且其他负载也在运行,只剩下大约15安培可用,Cortex只会消耗这15安培,以确保主配电箱的负载不超过50安培。

If there's a lot of cooking and other loads are happening, there's only like 15 ampere is available, Cortex will only consume that 15 ampere to make sure the main panel load doesn't go above 50.

Speaker 0

这很有趣。

That's interesting.

Speaker 1

那么,对于那些想安装热泵但不一定有200安培配电箱的人来说,这可能是一个不错的解决方案。

This could be a good solution then for somebody that wants to go to a heat pump but doesn't necessarily have a 200 amp panel.

Speaker 1

他们可能只需使用100安培的配电箱就能轻松运行,因为你不需要让暖通空调设备、热水器和其他所有设备同时运行。

They might be able to easily run this off of a 100 amp panel because you don't have to have the HVAC unit plus a water heater plus all the other stuff running simultaneously.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

有时候你需要进行所有电缆升级之类的工作,这花费太多钱了。

Sometimes you need to do all the cable upgrades and stuff, which costs so much money.

Speaker 2

我们有一个试点客户,使用的是20安培的电路,因此系统永远不会超过20安培。

We have a pilot customer who's running at 20 ampere circuit, so the system never go above 20 amps.

Speaker 2

这仅仅是维护而已。

It's just maintenance there.

Speaker 2

由于内置了锂离子电池,我们还可以调度能量,从而在提供其他所有负载的同时,不增加主断路器的额定电流。

With the lithium battery inside, we can also dispatch energy, so we never increase that demand, increase the rating of the main circuit breaker, while providing all other loads.

Speaker 2

比如说,感应炉灶的功率可能达到七千瓦。

Let's say induction cooktops can be like seven kilowatts.

Speaker 2

仅这一项就可能消耗大约30安培。

That itself can take like 30 amps.

Speaker 2

因此,我们可以从系统中释放一些能量来为感应炉灶和其他设备供电。

So we can send some energy from the system to power the induction cooktop and other things.

Speaker 1

如果你家有一个智能系统来测量用电量,你就可以与电网进行负荷或电力共享。

You can do load or electricity sharing back with the grid in the house if you've got a smart system in there to measure that power draw.

Speaker 1

你们有与太阳能集成的方案吗?我记得你们还提到了电动汽车充电?

Is there any integration with solar or I think you mentioned electric vehicle charging as well?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

有一个系统,如果用户家中已经安装了电池,比如特斯拉或其他品牌的电池,我们会与这些电池进行通信。

There is a system that if someone already have a battery in their home, like a Tesla and any other battery, we talk with the batteries.

Speaker 2

如果用户没有电池,只有太阳能系统,我们仍然会监测太阳能的发电量。

If someone doesn't have a battery, only have solar, we still monitor how much solar is generating.

Speaker 2

基于这些数据,我们可以储存这些电能。

Based on that, we can store that energy.

Speaker 2

在世界许多地方,当我们把太阳能输送到电网时,获得的报酬非常少。

In many parts of the world, when we send our solar to the grid, we don't get much money.

Speaker 2

我们只能得到1美分、2美分左右的报酬。

We get like a 1¢, 2¢, something like that.

Speaker 2

因此,我们会监测太阳能的发电量。

So we monitor how much solar is generating.

Speaker 2

与其以1美分、2美分的价格卖给电网,不如将这些电能转化为热能储存起来,用于供暖、制冷和热水。

Instead of sending to the grid for 1¢, 2¢, we store it as thermal energy, then use that for heating, cooling, and hot water.

Speaker 2

在晚上和夜间,它本质上就像一个电池。

At evening and night, it essentially works as a battery.

Speaker 2

另一个酷炫的功能是我们正在增加一种被动式供暖和制冷模式。

Another cool thing is we are adding a passive heating cooling mode.

Speaker 2

这意味着它只使用你多余的太阳能来加热或冷却空间。

That means it only uses your excess solar to heat or cool the space.

Speaker 2

它不会从电网取电。

It doesn't consume from the grid.

Speaker 1

它具备许多非常有趣且多样的功能,可以为各种安装场景和多种选择提供极大的灵活性。

That's got a lot of very interesting and varied features on it that could be really flexible for a lot of installations and a lot of options.

Speaker 0

你已经介绍了你的业务、背景和产品。

You've laid out the business, your background, the product.

Speaker 0

你向我们透露了一些亮相信息。

Speaker 0

他们接下来能期待什么?

What can they expect next?

Speaker 0

时间安排是怎样的?

What's the timing?

Speaker 0

请多体谅,因为初创公司有时会遇到

And be considerate because sometimes with startups

Speaker 2

就像是

It's like

Speaker 0

各种奇怪的障碍会挡路。

weird roadblocks get in the way.

Speaker 0

关于Totex接下来的大致时间表是什么?

Sort of the general timeframes of what's going to happen next with Totex.

Speaker 2

关于Totex,我明年年初将搬到德克萨斯州,现在就开始部署一些试点项目。

Next with Totex, I am moving to Texas early next year, and we'll be deploying some pilot projects now.

Speaker 2

我们有一些试点客户即将加入。

We have some pilot customers who are coming on board.

Speaker 2

Mid next year and end of mid to end of next year, the product will be available for anyone to buy.

Speaker 2

目前,任何希望加入我们的用户,尤其是家中有泳池、希望供暖或希望实现家庭电气化的人,能与我们合作将非常有趣。

At the moment, anyone who wants to join us, a pilot customer who has a pool in their home, they want to heat, or they want to electrify their homes, it'll be very fun to have them on board.

Speaker 0

那么,想了解更多或联系您,最好的方式是什么?

So what's the best way for someone to either learn more or get a hold of you to learn more?

Speaker 2

他们可以通过我们的网站发送邮件至 Berlin@totexenergy.com。

They can send an email from our website like Berlin@totexenergy.com.

Speaker 2

他们也可以在 LinkedIn 上联系我。

They can connect with me on LinkedIn.

Speaker 2

我很乐意与他们交流,无论是安装商、客户,还是任何对 Protax 感兴趣的人。

I will be happy to talk to them, installers, customers, anyone who's interested to know more about Protax.

Speaker 1

当然,比尔会在节目笔记中附上所有这些链接,我肯定。

And Bill, of course, is gonna link all this in the show notes, I'm sure.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yes.

Speaker 0

当然。

Absolutely.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yep.

Speaker 2

谢谢,比尔。

Thanks, Bill.

Speaker 1

以防有人想知道。

Just in case anybody wants to know.

Speaker 2

他很擅长这个。

He's good at that.

Speaker 2

所以当我,呃。

So when I yeah.

Speaker 2

当我去了比尔的家。

When I went I went to Bill's home.

Speaker 2

对吧?

Right?

Speaker 2

所以当我去了比尔的家,我一看,哦,明白了。

So when I went to Bill's home, I look at oh, okay.

Speaker 2

我们能在这里放一个Toxtex吗?

Can we put a Toxtex here?

Speaker 2

但他已经有一个很好的系统了。

But he already have a good system.

Speaker 2

所以

So

Speaker 0

埃里克·基瑟在逼我做决定。

Eric Kiser's twisting my arm a little bit.

Speaker 2

哦,是的。

Oh, yeah.

Speaker 0

他说我应该买一个。

He's saying I should get one.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

你应该。

You should.

Speaker 1

我觉得你应该装一个。

I think you ought to put one in.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

你也尝试了很多东西。

You also experiment a lot of things.

Speaker 2

你 setup 了一个树莓派。

You have a Raspberry Pi set up.

Speaker 2

你那里还有电动车充电桩。

You have the EV chargers there.

Speaker 2

你安装了所有这些东西。

You install all these things.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

没错。

True.

Speaker 1

如果你想要一个可以折腾的家,比尔的家几乎有你所有想折腾的东西。

If you want a home to play with, Bill's got just about everything you could possibly wanna play with.

Speaker 1

他有太阳能。

He's got solar.

Speaker 1

他有电动车。

He's got an EV.

Speaker 1

他有很多设备。

He's got a lot of stuff.

Speaker 1

能源监控。

Energy monitoring.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

能源监控,分区系统。

Energy monitoring, a zone system.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

下次我来的时候,我会雇一台挖掘机来挖个泳池。

Next time when I come, I will hire a excavator so we can dig a pool.

Speaker 2

只要

As

Speaker 0

只要泳池够大,能让比利的狗玩就行。

long as the pool's big enough for Billy's dog, that's okay.

Speaker 0

那么大的泳池。

That size pool.

Speaker 2

好的。

Okay.

Speaker 1

所以我这里有几个问题。

So I got a couple questions here.

Speaker 1

这些稍微更技术性一些。

These are a little more technical.

Speaker 1

用这个系统,水能加热到多高?比如用于地暖或热水供应?

How hot can we get water with this, like, for floor heating or for heating for hot water?

Speaker 1

这个系统的极限在哪里?

Where can we go with this?

Speaker 2

热水侧的最高温度大约是75摄氏度。

The temperature is, like, 75 degrees max on the hot water side.

Speaker 2

也就是165华氏度。

That is 165 degree Fahrenheit.

Speaker 2

这是热水的最高温度。

That's a maximum for hot water.

Speaker 1

这个热水温度已经很不错了。

That's pretty good hot water.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

但当我们加热室内空间时,并不会输送那么高的温度。

But when we heat the indoor space, we are not sending that much temperature.

Speaker 2

我们不会输送160度的温度。

We're not sending 160 degrees.

Speaker 2

所以我们只输送满足需求的最低温度。

So we send the minimum temperature to meet the demand.

Speaker 2

这意味着,比如刚启动系统时,我们可能会以160度左右的温度来加热室内空间。

That means, let's say, we're just turning on the system, we might send it at like 160 degrees to heat the indoor space.

Speaker 2

一旦室内温度达到要求,我们可能会将温度降至约105到110度,以提高系统效率并满足需求。

Once the indoor heating is reached, we probably send it around like 105 degrees, 110 degrees to increase the efficiency of the system, to meet the demand.

Speaker 2

温度会大幅上下波动。

It goes very up and down.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

具体变化会很大,取决于系统实际需要什么,既要让系统长时间运行,又要让室内保持舒适的温度。

It's going to vary a lot depending on what it actually needs to make the system run long but also heat the space at a comfortable temperature.

Speaker 1

我认为这正是我们使用水力系统与制冷剂系统之间的区别。

And I think that's a difference that we see in using a hydronic system versus a refrigerant based system.

Speaker 1

水力系统具有更大的可变性。

That hydronic system is going to have a lot more variable capability in it.

Speaker 2

使用水力系统,你现在还可以实现地板采暖。

With the hydronic, you can now have underfloor heating as well.

Speaker 2

一个系统就可以同时实现地板采暖和制冷。

A single system, you have underfloor heating and the cooling.

Speaker 2

通过地板采暖,我们可以提供85摄氏度的温度,同时仍能保持室内非常舒适的温暖。

With underfloor heating, we can supply a temperature of 85 degrees Celsius, still have a very comfortable warm home.

Speaker 2

效率会高得多。

The efficiency will be much higher.

Speaker 1

这种系统能在多低的室外温度下运行?

What is the lowest outdoor temperature that you can operate this in?

Speaker 1

因为这正是我们在美国看到的另一个情况。

Because this is another thing that we see in The States.

Speaker 1

我们这里冬天会非常冷,具体温度取决于地理位置,我们需要在各种冬季气温下运行系统。

Like, we get some pretty cold weather here, and depending on where it's at, of course, geographically, we've got a wide range of winter temperatures that we try to operate in.

Speaker 2

我们已经将系统测试到零下22摄氏度。

We tested the system out to minus 22 degrees Celsius.

Speaker 1

那就是零下7.6华氏度。

So that's a minus 7.6 Fahrenheit.

Speaker 2

没错。

That's right.

Speaker 2

谢谢你的计算。

Thanks for the calculation.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

我面前就有一个转换器。

I got a converter right here in front of me.

Speaker 1

我正在看它。

I'm looking at it.

Speaker 2

它在那个温度下正常运行。

And it's operating at the temperature.

Speaker 2

系统方面,我们使用的是重型、专为寒冷天气设计的压缩机。

And the system is like the compressor, we are using a heavy duty, like a cold weather rated compressor.

Speaker 2

所以,我们所说的低温和高温之间的温差可以达到65到70摄氏度,它依然能正常运行。

So we have a high we call this a difference between low and the high can be like over, like, 65 degrees Celsius, 70 degrees Celsius, and it can run at that.

Speaker 1

温差最高可达70摄氏度。

The differential can be up to 70 degrees Celsius.

Speaker 2

它能持续在70摄氏度下运行。

Run continuously at 70 degrees.

Speaker 2

它甚至能到80、85摄氏度,依然持续运行。

It can go eighty, eighty five, and still run continuously.

Speaker 2

压缩机是重型旋转式压缩机,非常耐用,很难损坏。

The compressor, heavy duty rotary compressor, very hard to kill.

Speaker 2

我们现在的系统,两位飞行员一直在以120的速度持续运行,超频20%,而且已经连续运行了两年。

The system we have, the two of the pilots we are running is we're continuously running at 120 speed, overclock 20% higher, and it's still going for two years now.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以我认为这将是很多人可能想了解的两个主要问题。

So I think that's going to be two big questions that a lot of people are probably going to want to know about this.

Speaker 1

所以我才想提出来,让大家知道,因为这些是我经常在美国人那里听到的问题。

So that's why I wanted to throw them out there and get that out there because those are questions I hear a lot from people in The United States.

Speaker 0

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

寒冷气候热泵。

Cold climate heat pumps.

Speaker 0

在热泵峰会上你也会听到这个说法。

You'll hear that at the heat pump summit too.

Speaker 0

我敢肯定你会经常听到这个术语。

I'm sure that'll be a phrase you hear a lot about.

Speaker 2

它可以与其他锅炉配合使用。

It can work with other boilers.

Speaker 2

例如,作为混合系统,你可以连接一个锅炉。

For example, as a hybrid system, you can connect a boiler along.

Speaker 2

所以你不需要,因为房子很大,你不需要非常非常大的尺寸。

So you don't need to because a home is like very large, you don't need to have sizes very, very large.

Speaker 2

如果需要,你仍然可以添加燃气锅炉。

You can still add gas boilers if you need to.

Speaker 1

所以,如果你提到这里的房子,大房子,那如果有人想安装多个这样的设备呢?

So what if somebody say you mentioned houses here, big houses.

Speaker 1

如果他们需要更大的容量,你能把两个或三个设备串联或连接到同一个水暖系统上吗?

What if somebody wanted to have multiple of these units?

Speaker 1

是的,可以。

Can you actually tandem or hook two or three of them together onto a single hydronic system if they need more capacity?

Speaker 2

是的,可以。

Yeah, it can.

Speaker 2

两个或三个设备可以一起安装在主机外部。

Two or three units can sit together outside the main unit.

Speaker 2

它们可以共同分担负荷。

They all can share the load.

Speaker 2

另一个优势是冗余性。

One other advantage is redundancy.

Speaker 2

所以如果一个系统失效,你还有另外两个系统来保持室内温暖或凉爽。

So if one system doesn't work, you have the other two systems to keep the home hot or cold.

Speaker 2

冗余性的额外好处。

Added benefit of redundancy.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

这里有一点冗余,也有一点灵活性。

A little bit of redundancy in there, a little bit of flexibility.

Speaker 1

很有趣。

Interesting.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

这是一个巨大的优势。

That's one big advantage.

Speaker 2

在其他传统系统中,比如VR系统之类的,即使你可以将两个系统连接在一起,但一旦其中一个发生泄漏,制冷剂就会全部漏光。

In other traditional system, can like a VR ops and stuff, like you still if one system leaks, even though you can connect two of them together, like one leaks, the end of the refrigerant goes out.

Speaker 2

还会出现很多问题,比如回油之类的。

There's a lot of issues with like a oil return and things.

Speaker 2

这些问题都被避免了。

Those are avoided.

Speaker 1

我们就假设其中一台设备安装在某人的家里。

Let's just say one of these units is installed in somebody's house.

Speaker 1

它发生故障,导致室外机无法更换。

It breaks down to the point where it can't be replaced at the outdoor unit.

Speaker 1

更换这个室外机需要多长时间?

How long would it take to replace that outdoor unit?

Speaker 1

断开旧的,安装新的,重新连接好,让它重新运行起来。

Unhook the existing one, drop a new one in there, hook it all up, have it back up and running.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

不需要加制冷剂。

No refrigerant charges needed.

Speaker 2

把它拆出来,换上新机组。

It pull them out, put a new unit.

Speaker 1

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 1

所以你不需要抽真空。

So you don't have to do the vacuum.

Speaker 1

不需要充注制冷剂。

No refrigerant charging.

Speaker 1

你只是基本上断开PEX管道,再重新接上PEX管道,还有电气线路、可能的控制线,以及把系统里的乙二醇排掉再重新加回去。

You're just basically unhooking PEX pipe and hooking PEX pipe back up, electrical, probably control wiring, and maybe draining the glycol out of that system and putting it back in.

Speaker 1

这大概需要几个小时?

Is that a couple hour job maybe?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

大概三个小时的活。

Like a three hours job.

Speaker 2

如果我们说只是简单的拆装,那还不到三个小时。

If we said just a drop in drop out, it's like only less than three hours job.

Speaker 2

还有一个语音训练器,你需要检查语音训练器,确保它没有被堵塞。

And there's a voice trainer, so you need to check the voice trainer to make sure the voice trainer is not blocked.

Speaker 2

乙二醇不需要更换。

Glycol doesn't need to be replaced.

Speaker 2

这就像我们汽车的红色数据。

It's the same as our car's red data.

Speaker 2

汽车要经历极端的工作条件。

So car goes through extreme work conditions.

Speaker 2

所以乙二醇不需要更换。

So So glycol doesn't need to be replaced.

Speaker 2

需要检查废料过滤器,确保没有堵塞。

The waste strainer needs to be checked to make sure it's not clogged.

Speaker 2

然后把它取出来,换上新的单元。

And then pull that out, put a new unit in.

Speaker 2

系统配备电池的另一个原因是,比如特斯拉Powerwall,系统的设备成本大约在6000到7000美元之间。

One other thing why the system comes with a battery is like a Tesla Powerwall, for example, the cost of the system is, the equipment is like 6,000 to $7,000.

Speaker 2

但一旦安装完成,总成本就达到14000到18000美元。

But once we install it, the cost is 14 to $18,000.

Speaker 2

这会有所不同。

It varies.

Speaker 2

超过7000美元的部分主要用于安装和其他相关费用。

Like it's over $7,000 goes on install and all these things.

Speaker 2

基本上,电池是内置在系统中的。

Basically, we have the battery inside the system.

Speaker 2

成本可以降低。

The cost can go down.

Speaker 2

没有单独的电池安装。

There's no separate battery installation.

Speaker 2

所以所有东西都是一体化的,安装后就能获得电池、供暖、制冷和热水,全部集成在一个系统中。

So everything comes in, drop in, you get the battery, you get the heating, cooling, hot water, all of them comes as a single package.

Speaker 2

我们正在与众多安装人员沟通,收集所有反馈,以尽可能简化安装流程。

We're talking with so many installers, getting all the feedbacks to make the installation process as easy as possible.

Speaker 1

这听起来很棒。

That's great to hear.

Speaker 0

我们会在节目笔记中添加一些链接,我确信当你们取得新的成就时,还会再邀请你们回来。

We're gonna put some links in the show notes, and I'm pretty sure we're gonna have you back here at some point when you got some new level of achievement going on.

Speaker 0

但与此同时,你有什么想对我们的听众说的结束语吗?

But in the meantime, what's a closing thought you'd like to leave with our listeners?

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 2

人,人,人。

People, people, people.

Speaker 2

所以一切都要以人为本。

So everything is about people.

Speaker 2

这就是我想说的。

That's what I will say.

Speaker 2

尽管我们从事不同的行业或做各种不同的事情,但归根结底都是关于人。

Even though we are in the business or doing whatever different things, all about people.

Speaker 2

我们让人们感到舒适,依靠人们。

We're keeping people comfortable, using people.

Speaker 2

如果你关注人,从人的角度来看,每个人的生活都会变得更好。

If you focus on people, everyone's life will be much better from a people's perspective.

Speaker 2

那就是

That is

Speaker 0

一个非常棒的结束语。

a great, great closing thought.

Speaker 0

谢谢。

Thank you.

Speaker 1

我非常喜欢这一点。

I like that a lot.

Speaker 1

关注人。

Focus on people.

Speaker 1

你说得对。

You're right.

Speaker 1

太棒了。

That's amazing.

Speaker 0

太好了。

Super.

Speaker 0

谢谢您,柏林,今天抽出时间与我们交流。

Speaker 0

那是什么?

What is it?

Speaker 2

嗯,想想。

It's well, think.

Speaker 2

是的。

Yeah.

Speaker 0

未来。

Speaker 0

他说没关系,所以我们相信他。
