Hi, guys.
Welcome back to Delusional Diaries podcast.
I'm Hallie.
I'm Jazz.
And you are having a tickle in your throat right now.
Mhmm.
I feel like I'm getting sick, and I literally can't be sick.
I have so much going on recent like, coming up, so I'm just, like, stressed out.
Where are you going?
We're going to Cabo for Maddie's bachelorette this week.
And then I'm staying we're staying Cabo for hero cosmetics.
And I'm going to Vegas, then LA, and then home.
So I'm gone for a very long time.
Actually, I haven't been sick in a very long time either.
So like, it would that would, like, happen to me.
Yeah.
I just got sick.
I had a really bad cold, and I really can't.
When did you have a cold?
When I was, like, already down bad with my ulcerative colitis, and then I had, like, that really bad cold for, like, two weeks.
That was like in August, September ish.
I was like sick for like literally two weeks.
And I hate having a cold so much.
So I'm really manifesting that you do not have a cold because I can't get a cold.
是的。
Yes.
Second bachelor I've ever been on going to Maddie's in Cabo.
I've been to Cabo one time with my family, and I feel like it was, like, a different experience.
I was, like I think I just was barely 18 years old, I was, like, allowed to drink technically.
So I was like, woo.
And, like, drinking at the all inclusive resort, but I don't know.
It wasn't like a crazy party vibe.
I don't think we left the resort one time, so I'm interested to see I feel like we'll end up leaving to go do things.
I think we're doing a boat one day, and I honestly don't know what we're doing on the HERO Cosmetics brand trip, but I'm assuming we'll do something that's not just at the resort.
So it'll be interesting to see more of Cabo.
Yeah.
I'm looking forward to hear like, obviously, looking forward to Matthew Bachelorette too, but I am like Bachelorettes are just, like, so heavy, heavy drinking, like, vibes.
And I feel like we just had Halloween and, like, we went out twice.
And that was just I feel like we haven't been drinking that much.
So I'm like, it's kind of a lot back to back to have, like, alcohol based activities.
Yeah.
I'm just personally not doing too much of that because, like, I can't really drink that much.
And, like, I obviously did choose to drink over Halloween weekend.
So I'm not I'm gonna just try to have, like, a more cute, calm Cabo experience rather than, a party blackout Cabo experience.
Yeah.
I'm interested to see how it's going to go.
But I'm also excited for Hero because it has like a different group of people that on this branch that I've had like on most branch trips recently.
So I'm excited to see like people that I like have been mutuals with that haven't like met in person.
I don't even I don't even really know who's going.
I know you read me the list one time, but I, like, physically can't
with you?
不是
No.
But I think it'll just be a fun surprise when I walk in and see people.
I think I'm also, like I haven't met any of Maddie's friends outside of, like, her friends that live in New York.
So I'm curious how that will go, like not that I think it's gonna go bad, but just, like, it's different when you mix different types of friend groups.
Like, I was also nervous before my bachelorette of, like, mixing my my high school friends with, like, my New York friends, which obviously it was fine, but it's just, different areas of your life, like, mixing in one is just, like, a lot.
是啊
Yeah.
It's definitely interesting because those are that's probably the only time those people will ever cross paths in their life is like at your wedding slash like your bachelorette.
So it's interesting to see all of that come together, I feel like.
But I don't know.
I have no experience with The Bachelorette.
I've never been on an actual Bachelorette before because yours wasn't even because it was joint.
So it wasn't just girls.
So I'm interested to see how this will go.
I don't know.
I mean, I'm sure it'll be like literally so chill and fine.
It's just like a girls weekend, but it's interesting when you go on, like you're going on a vacation essentially with people that you've never met.
So it's like, I don't know.
Like, it's just a funny concept.
But I'm sure it'll be fun.
Obviously, I feel like if you are friends with somebody, you obviously like, they're also gonna be friends with people that you would be friends with because why would you be friends with somebody that, like, would be friends with whack ass people that you wouldn't, like, necessarily be able to get along with unless, like, you have a friend that just
picks I don't know.
This is not not not that this is our situation with, like, Cabo, but I I feel like a lot of situations I see online are people who have, like, their sister-in-law that they have to invite, that they don't get along with.
Like, that's what makes it a
I just think that's bizarre.
Like, I get people have to do that with, like, families and stuff.
Like, you know, they feel pressure or whatever, but that seems like so weird.
Like, it's you're going on a vacation and then having to invite somebody that you, like, don't Don't want to be there.
Want to be there slash it doesn't really like you or maybe has weird, like, it out for you in some kind of way.
I feel like that's such a bizarre situation.
I can't even, like, fathom being in that because, like, I just simply be like, no.
Like and if that if that's a deal breaker, then that's a deal breaker for me.
And, like, I'm simply
I just can't relate to those kinds of experiences because I'm just like, I would never be in those experiences.
Yeah.
But I I also get it if you're like, a guy is so great and awesome, and then it's like, but you that there's that that, like, maybe it doesn't affect your life that much.
But when it does, it's like, oh my god.
I don't know.
That definitely is really rough.
I per again, personally can't relate because I have zero family issues in any level with mine or Reed's family, but that'd be really hard.
We had a Halloween party.
I was on time.
Yeah.
You were.
But also, like, no one was there on time, which no one ever really is to a party on time because, like, no one wants to be the first one there.
Well, I don't expect people.
I knew people weren't gonna come at, like, 9PM when the invite says.
I know they'll come later than that.
I just want, again, like, people to be there that I'm already I feel like that's, like, a pretty normal thing with a party where it's, like, your friends come a little bit earlier, and then it's like then the random people start piling in after.
Not that everybody was, like, really random.
Maybe there's, like, a couple people that I didn't really know.
But for the most part, it was really fun.
My apartment is so like, the floors are so disgusting because obviously, like
You have a shoes on household, like, for parties?
I mean, yeah.
I think I think of that episode of Sex and the City where Carrie had to take her shoes off and
The kid and the kid, like, lose them or something?
And they, like, lost them, and then she, like, made them pay for them.
One, I don't wanna be that.
She was right in that scenario, Carrie?
Like, who do think was in the wrong?
I can't remember Let's see context.
So, like, in this episode, Carrie wears her shoes, like, expensive shoes.
And this I think her kids, like, ruined the shoes or they got stolen.
No.
They just got lost.
Like, she went home barefoot, I'm pretty sure.
Like, she went to, like, go back and she just couldn't find them and then, like, asked, well, something happened.
And the girl, asked, well, I'll pay for them.
And then she's like, well, I'm not gonna pay for them because, like, I have kids and that's too expensive.
But she also had a ton of money, so it didn't really, like, add up.
But then I'm curious.
I had bought you, like, a baby shower gift, a wedding gift, all these things.
Like, you can get me my shoes.
Yeah.
I think it's hard in that scenario because I can't imagine.
I don't have the balls to be like, you need to pay for these shoes, which, like, Carrie didn't either.
And then she was like, you have to whatever.
She, like, kinda made the lady at the end.
I think she, like, felt empowered to do so.
I really don't know.
I think, like, I would feel really bad if somebody came to my house and lost their shoes even if it wasn't my fault.
But I feel like I I feel like if I was the woman and let's say, like, I genuinely didn't steal the shoes and somebody else at my party did, I'd be like, I'm so sorry that happened to you here, but, like, I didn't steal your shoes, so I'm not paying for them.
Yeah.
And I don't think that I would.
I don't know, though.
But I I think if I was Carrie, I'd be, like, super pissed, and I'd complain about it and maybe say something, but I don't think I'd necessarily say you have to pay for my shoes.
I don't know, though.
Yeah.
不。
No.
I agree.
But I'm also like my only thing with that episode was, like, the girl was like, well, I'll pay for them.
But then she was like, well, I Like, have that's a ridiculous amount of money to spend on shoes.
Like, that's where I would be like, out of principle.
Like, now I'm actually irritated.
I know.
Like, it's not even the fact that like I lost my shoes, but it's like, telling me I shouldn't be spending this much money on shoes when like, you're also doing all these other shit?
Yeah.
因为我
For I've
gotten you all these gifts.
Like, I get where she was, like, stressed out and, like, frustrated in that sense.
不。
No.
I agree.
But I think you'd be like, well, I guess we're not gonna be friends anymore.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I just I don't know.
I think it's weird to make people take their shoes.
Like, if it's a small, like if you're having, like, a legit party, I think you cannot make people you can't what?
You're gonna have a pile of 40 shoes.
Like, that's fucking crazy.
Because, like, would I like everybody to trek their New York City shoes that they've been walking in into my apartment?
No.
But at the same time, like, one half the time, that's part of somebody's costume.
Like, I think as a girl too, when you're in a costume or, like, a dress, you feel so fucking ridiculous, like, bare flat footed.
Fell in the airport yesterday.
Yeah.
Like, it it's like you feel, like, ridiculous.
If I was like, oh, you actually have to take your shoes off.
Like, you're like, this is a part of my costume.
And, honestly, like, me in this mini dress now, barefoot is not serving.
I was liking it with my boots or my whatever.
So you just you can't make people take their shoes off.
If it's like an intimate dinner party or something, you're like, you know, there you have, like, eight friends coming over.
I think you can ask people to take their shoes off, but I'm not doing that for that.
But my my apartment floors, like, they don't really they don't look dirty.
Like, I've cleaned them, but I like, Reid was walking, and I saw him, like, lift his feet up and put like like like, on the couch or whatever just like he was sitting.
And I was like, oh my god.
The bottom of your feet.
Right?
Like, the sock is literally black.
I'm like, I need my cleaning ladies to come just absolutely, like, scrub the literal fuck out of my floor.
So they will be doing that very, very soon.
I need to schedule them honestly because my floor is just so gross.
Yeah.
But it was really fun.
We also had simply way too much alcohol.
We had 36 bottles of tequila, which everyone was like, oh my god.
Did you think you were having, like, 200 people at this party?
I know that was a ridiculous amount of alcohol.
Cosamigo sent us some alcohol, and I just I don't know how that estimate got there with the bottles.
Like, they knew how many people were coming.
Maybe they just thought
think we're really heavy drinkers.
I don't know.
Yeah.
We simply did not go through even kinda I didn't think that we would, obviously.
I think, like, one, at a party, I think maybe you kinda need, like, a bartender type of situation to really like, I think we would have gone through a lot more of the bottles if there had been somebody drinks.
对。
Yeah.
If somebody was, like, making drinks.
Because, like, I would personally if if there was a bartender, I wasn't gonna hire a bartender at my fucking apartment.
But it's like, had there been a bartender, you know what?
Maybe I could've.
That would have been for next year.
Maybe I'll do that.
Because if there was a bartender, I would so go up and, like, order some, like, margaritas and whatever.
But, obviously, I'm just like, I'll grab a sip margs or, like, just do a shot of tequila.
I wasn't necessarily, like, making myself cocktails.
I will say, though, I did not make Jell O shots because I we got back late because of the whole diversion, but Kevin did make them, and that is now Kevin's new job.
Yeah.
They were really, really, really good Jell O shots.
They're like the perfect amount where, like, you knew there was alcohol in them.
They weren't just straight Jell O, but they didn't taste super strong where it wasn't like
And it was like an overwhelming amount of Jell O in mouth.
没错。
No.
They were very good.
I think a 125 of them, and they were they were gone.
Yeah.
I was passing those out like candy.
Granted, when there's, like, 50 people, that was really only, like not everyone did one, but there were, like, maybe, like, two or three per person.
I feel like at least eight.
I'm be honest.
对。
Yeah.
I mean, I had
like Anytime someone's like, Jell O shot, I was like, I can do one.
I had like maybe four.
I also did not get his hammer to those planning.
Yeah.
But, you know, I was very happy to wake up the next day and not feel sick.
That is good.
But then he went out the that day because I wasn't sick.
And I also the next day, felt a little sick.
Yeah.
I just have realized, like, I cannot I mean, not that I I knew I couldn't drink.
I I feel like everybody says that.
It's like, shut the fuck up.
We get it.
Yeah.
As you get older, your hangovers get worse.
But it really is like, I was feeling it for two days.
And, again, like, I'm not at the verge of, like, puking
It's like the brain fog more than anything for me.
I just felt gross, and I'm like, I don't wanna do this like like that anymore.
I think it's fun every once in a while to have I still love a night out.
I have so much fun, but it's like the the way I feel so gross for the next, like, two to three days and just like, ugh.
Like, I just feel, like, slow.
Like, I can't really do a good job in my workouts, like, of that.
It's just simply not worth it to me, especially, like, again, we were drinking, like, a Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday when we were single and, like, going out.
That was worth it to me.
That was.
But also, I really wasn't getting, like, crazy hungover at that time either.
Yeah.
But, like, I literally could function completely fine the next day.
I just can't.
So I'm like, maybe, like, once a month every, like, couple weeks, have a fun night out one night per weekend.
And, like, that is good, but it really does not have to be, like, an every weekend kind of thing.
Even though I feel this, like hasn't been either.
It hasn't been, but I feel like that's been really intentional on my part, like, between me and Reid and stuff of like, okay.
Like, we're not, like, we're not drinking this weekend.
I'm not drinking.
Like, we're gonna I invite people over.
We're gonna have a game night.
Like because if it was like, I don't know.
Reed's just, like, fucking from Wisconsin and, like, could drink every single night.
Like, he not actually.
But you know what I'm saying?
Like, and he just doesn't really get hungover.
Feel like he just drinks beer and doesn't really care.
But I'm very much like, whatever.
Because I feel like if it were up to him, he'd be like, oh, let's go to dinner.
Let's get drinks.
Let's do this.
So I feel like I've had to be like, let's do this, like, more sober activity again.
Or like, obviously, we can still go to dinner and stuff.
I just will have like a mocktail slash not drink, which is totally fine.
But what the prices of mocktails?
Because that actually pisses me off.
Yeah.
They are crazy.
Like, I don't understand why
Literally juice and some soda.
There's no reason for it to be only $2 cheaper than a cocktail.
确实。
It is.
Yeah.
That is kind of diabolical.
Like At that point, I'm like, I should just I'll drink water, which is I hate water.
It just, like, actually angers me because I try to, like, do the right thing sometimes and, take a take a beat and, get a mock tip.
I think they are fun.
But I just, like, do not understand why I'm paying the same
That is so
没错。
true.
For, like, an actual espresso martini.
Like, if a if a cocktail at a restaurant and, like, we're going off New York City prices is, like, $18, a mocktail will typically be, like, 14, which doesn't make sense to me.
Like, I think the mocktail should be 8, maybe 10 max, 10 max if the if the cocktail you're selling at 18.
Because I think the majority of the price that goes into that is the alcohol.
I mean, obviously, I get it.
Like, some of them are pretty much an exact cocktail recipe just without the shot of, like, you know, whatever actual alcohol.
But it's but and I understand, like, a bartender still has to sit there and shake it and then pour it and they top it with whatever.
And there are very, very nice mocktails at restaurants where I'm like, I get that this is not, like, just a literal juice in a cup.
Like, it's not worth $4, but is it worth $14?
不值。
No.
不。
No.
My thing is, though, like, if I order a Shirley Temple, like, no alcohol, and, like, that's gonna cost me 6, why if there's, like, a Shirley Temple with, like, an extra, like, leaf in it?
Is it costing me 14?
Yeah.
I I mean, I get It feels ridiculous.
Some of them though are like The ones that are intense, okay.
酷。
Cool.
Still yeah.
I get it.
Ridiculous though.
I just think that mocktails would be like Yeah.
More popular and more ordered if they were not ridiculously priced.
I know.
I also don't this is just me.
I don't really understand the zero proof, like, stuff because it's just to me, it's like, it still tastes exactly I guess if you like the taste of alcohol, which some people literally do.
Like, I feel like my mom, like, genuinely enjoys the taste of wine and, like, Prosecco and stuff like she
like wine.
You don't like wine?
I like wine as in I'm trying to get drunk.
Can I swallow it?
Yeah.
But am I, like, yum?
I wouldn't I don't think there's any the only alcohol that I genuinely think is good, I always say this, is Aperol Spritz.
Like, I actually think that tastes delicious.
Like, as I'm sucking it and it has to be made right.
If it has too much Prosecco, fuck no.
If it has too much Aperol, fuck no.
It has to be made perfectly to my liking.
And I think that tastes really good.
And would I drink that if it was, like, zero proof?
会。
Yes.
Other than that, like, there's no alcohol.
I'd be like, like, zero proof Heineken, like, need to drink this right now.
Like, fuck no.
I'd rather just not drink it.
Like, I just want my mocktail to taste like juice.
Like, I've been loving like a cucumber y mocktail that's like with some sparkling water and like maybe a little elderflower syrup.
I love elderflower.
Really good.
Any drink on a menu that has elderflower, I'm ordering it.
没错。
Yeah.
All that being said, we have a lot of bottles left over.
And then if you saw my TikTok, Reid made, like, a graveyard on top.
I don't really know what I expected him to do.
I, like, I told him, like, there was all the bottles just sitting on the pool table, then I was like, hey.
We have, like, fucking 30 bottles.
And I was I'll show people I was giving them out literally.
I think our friend Rob took, like, four bottles.
Like a what's it called?
就像
Like a
Party favor.
对。
Yeah.
But, obviously, a lot of people still didn't take them slash whatever.
So we had a lot leftover, which granted, I'll throw them to the party and use them then.
It'll be great.
No problem.
Like, they'll definitely go to use.
But, yeah, I I, like, left them on the pool table and was like, Reid, like, take care of them when like, make sure they're gone when I get back.
And I walked in and I was like, amazing.
He took care of them.
But, like, that feels inappropriate to give out alcohol.
I don't know.
I just feel like if
We literally gave out plan b at our live show.
But that's safe.
Like, that's different.
就像我
Like I
guess I guess that is different.
It's the opposite.
Like, alcohol is typically what if somebody, like, misused it, god forbid, and, like, did something?
Oh, also today, I was I don't know why using something?
Well, yeah, this was going in the direction of driving, but I was completely sober.
我没有
I was not
drinking I'm gonna
开车了
drive it.
You you're a scary driver.
I just can't follow directions.
Like, my ADHD, like, literally won't let me.
I can't comprehend, like, where to go, so I'm always, like, always about to go in the wrong exit.
I'm like, fuck.
And I just, like, can't if if I know where I'm going, it's completely fine, but I never know where I'm going in New York City ever.
Like I low key wish I had a Xanax in the car yesterday.
好吧
Okay.
That is really, really dramatic.
You've literally done shit like that all the time.
就是,
Like,
I I didn't say I was a good driver.
I think you're a fine driver.
I just I think I'm a fine driver, except I'm constantly like, oh, fuck.
Like, I I need to go this way on the last second because I literally can't I don't know why.
Like, I don't know if there's, like, a blindness to direction, but I can't follow it.
Like, I just can't when I'm driving at all.
I need somebody to literally be like, you need to take that one.
Okay.
But I made it to my hair hair salon safely today.
Like, that's not the problem.
My hair salon parking lot was completely full.
So I was like, I I like, I can't explain it.
It's almost like a curved straight line that you can't get out of, if that makes sense.
So if you go all the way to the end and there's no parking spots, the only option is to reverse back out.
Like, you have to go and it's long.
You're like because there was nowhere for me to even pull in to then, like, turn my car around, if that makes sense.
Like, there is no way to do, like, even a tiny U-turn because it's very tight.
So the only way was to literally I was all the way at the end of this parking lot.
I just had to reverse out because it's such a narrow, like, thin space.
So I'm reversing out.
And all of a sudden I hear like, I just like my car slams.
And I'm like, I fucking hit somebody and I killed them.
Like, oh my god.
I'm like having a full blown panic.
I just ran into a stop sign, so it was fine.
And there was no harm done to the stop sign.
It was, like, in a really No.
Thick, like, cement Because thank god I have a giant ass tire on the back of, like, my Defender, so it just hit the tire.
So, like, my car is completely I really thought that I was like, I forgot the tire was there.
Hit it?
I think your car has sensors.
I was going kind of fast, but it's like, the thing is, it wasn't going that fast.
I don't know.
My car does have sensors, but it it like, I don't really know how it's like, I think I was just going a little too fast.
Again, I wasn't like
not listening to the sensors.
I wasn't really focused on the parking.
不。
No.
不。
No.
不。
No.
不。
No.
I was definitely listening to the sensors.
This stop zone was kind of, like, in the middle of where I was backing out, if that makes sense.
So I just, like, really was not expecting it to be there.
And then also, I think I was just by the time I was, like, going, I just couldn't stop in time to, like, whatever.
My car did, like, beep at me.
But, yeah, that was not great.
But thank god for that tire because I really did think I was like, fuck.
Like, I'm like, oh my god.
I'm gonna have to, like, go take my car.
It's, like, so got a dent in it.
Actually, I really wouldn't take it in if it had a dent.
I'd be like, that's cosmetic.
Like, I don't really care.
And until it was, like, actually not working, that's when I would take it in.
But I feel like I don't really care if it has a dent, to be honest.
Period.
Like, I don't have time for that.
Yeah.
It's not that serious.
It is currently 5PM and it is pitch black outside, which 6PM?
I meant, like, in life.
Well, not right this second.
I'm saying, like, when it is 5PM, it is blackout outside.
Okay.
Just like me on the
just turned exactly at six o No.
I I wasn't saying that it is 5PM exactly at this moment.
I'm saying it's pitch blackout at 5PM now.
Like, it was 04:30, and I was, like, in my apartment.
I'm like, oh my god.
It feels like literally 7PM.
Like, feels like the sun's, like, started like, sun was, like, pretty much already set.
And it's just, like, I really didn't realize how much daylight savings made that impact until it happened.
And it it does it every year, but it catches me by surprise every single year.
I just can't understand why we I understand, like, for kids going to school or something, I think that's why they do it.
So they have more light in the morning, but also just, like, let the kids go to the bus in the dark.
I mean, I went to the bus in the dark.
Well, yeah.
I don't know.
I just think I mean, some people some states don't even do the daylight savings.
Yeah.
Arizona doesn't.
Yeah.
I don't really know why we do it.
Like, I don't get it.
Like, what aren't they getting out of school in the dark also?
Like Probably another reason we don't know about.
I really think it's for that.
I I genuinely think that's the reason.
Like, what other reason would there be?
I'm I'm pretty sure that is the reason.
There has to be a reason.
It's not necessary.
Like, it's it's a made up thing.
Like, it's I think it's literally just so
It's been a thing.
I don't know.
When did daylight savings start?
Should we Google it?
Let's let's Google why we do daylight savings.
Why do we do daylight savings?
Energy conversation wait.
I think that's the opposite.
That's not making sense.
That's for the summertime.
What is it called?
Is it called daylight saving?
It can't be called daylight saving, is it?
I think it is.
I think it is.
But I'm saying this is like acting like by setting the clocks forward, sun Bring forward.
对。
Yeah.
So that's not right.
Like, I'm confused what the fall one is in fall.
I think it's called the same thing, though.
Get more daylight in the morning.
It's not the practice was first implemented to conserve energy during World War one by adding more daylight during the evening when people were tech typically most active, which again isn't making sense because that's only I can't that's only like for the spring.
我
I
don't know.
我不
I don't
知道。
know.
Anyway, yeah.
I'm not loving this at the moment.
Like, it's kinda just making me realize, holy fuck.
Like, we have so long to go with this.
It just started and it's not even we're still, like, what, two months from the shortest day of the year.
So that's really not fun to look forward to because then it's like that's our peak low and then it's only, like, slowly goes up from there.
Well, it goes it gets better after that.
I see what I mean.
But it's gonna only get worse for the next two months.
I'm like, how can this only get worse?
Like, it's already 5PM and so dark.
And in New York, I just think it in the city, it it feels darker a lot earlier because, like, typically, you're not getting like, I feel like at a house, you can see, like, the air from all angles, if that makes sense.
But in, like, my apartment, I only have a view of, like, north or wherever I'm facing.
And so, like, once it starts to the sun goes behind the buildings, like, it looks pitch black to me basically out my window even though it's like not.
You know what I'm saying?
Yeah.
Winter is like it's rough.
But I feel it makes me appreciate like summer and spring and
summer.
不。
No.
I only like Christmas time and I like the snow, which it never even really snows here.
But, like, that that is, like, cute winter.
是的。
Yes.
Love.
Other than that, I hate the winter.
Like, I I think outfits are uglier.
I'm miserable outside.
I just I don't like it.
And I honestly I don't like having all four seasons, to be honest.
Oh my gosh.
I need all four seasons.
I I feel like also because, like, being in Alaska, like, winter was, like, your entire year.
Like, it doesn't feel like as long to me being here.
Okay.
Yeah.
It feels really long.
I mean, I I don't know.
Virginia has the same climate as here, basically.
But I just oh my god.
I think how I'm thinking of how bad last winter was.
Like, I literally would book, like, a random trip.
I did this one time, but I booked a random trip because I was, like, so miserable in the January.
Was like, I physically can't be here at, like, this weekend.
What is the closest Caribbean island where I can just be warm and in the sun?
And you know what?
I just found no research, just vibes.
And honestly, it was great.
You had a great time.
Yeah.
I am so on the side of TikTok.
I don't really fully understand what's happening with Lily Allen and David Harbour or whatever who's from Stranger Things.
Which one?
I guess, like, they met on Raya at some point in, like, 2020, I think.
And then they had, like, a open relationship that he I believe.
Again, not super on this.
Like, I don't know the full details, but I think they had an open relationship.
And then because she had to move to London.
And then he was, like, cheating on her because he was, like, essentially lying about the the status of the open relationship.
I think she thought it was simply just, having sex with other people and that was it.
But I think he had, like, an emotional relationship with another woman that and, like, was lying to her about it and stuff.
Then she caught him, like, cheating on her and everything.
So, again, not fully up to date on everything, but definitely ruined stranger things for me a little bit because I'm like, oh my god.
Like, the last season's about to come out, and I've obviously watched the past all the other seasons.
And he's, like, kind of the hero of the show.
So to think that the hero of the show is not actually, like, a bad guy in person Just isn't my favorite thing.
So that's not super fun.
But her songs are really good on the album, and I've been listening.
And, like, it's it's like a full story.
She's giving all the details, and I'm honestly living for it.
She's really iconic.
I've never heard of her before that.
But which I know is like she has some other songs that I guess I have heard.
I just like didn't know of her personally.
但现在
But now
Kinda like fell off the face of the earth, at least like to me.
Like, I feel like early two thousands, I was like into her shit.
And then I was like, don't even know what happened to her.
Yeah.
I I didn't ever know honestly anything about her, but now I'm I'm into it.
And she's really pretty and she's cool, so I'm rocking with it.
I hate when something happens to like a real actor or actress in real life.
They do something, then like, I ruins the show for me.
Like, that is very tough.
Yeah.
I'm watching a show called Matlock right now, and like the main one of the main guys, like, in the show, he got kicked off the show because he, like, sexually assaulted costar.
And, like, they have to, like, rewrite the show now.
And I'm like
That's so worse.
I'm, watching, but he's, like, best friends with the girl he assaulted in the show.
So now I'm like, this is now a tough watch for me.
确实。
Yeah.
Yeah.
And, like, Glee,
like, one guy was like, child pornography, meaning killed himself.
Like, that's also a tough watch for me.
But like, a lot of shows that happens.
And I'm like, I can't watch this the same way I used to and
Yeah.
Difficult.
对。
Yeah.
Millie Bobby Brown also, I guess, like filed a harassment, which he's like her father in the show.
So that's like really upsetting that she filed, like, bullying and harassment or something.
So I'm like, oh, they, like, hated working together.
Like, this sucks.
Like, whatever.
And when when I I didn't know anything because I was I watched Sex and the City all the way through, then everyone's like, oh, like, Kim Petrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, like, actually hate each other and all this.
They had all this beef.
做。
Do.
I'm like I
was like, what?
They're not best friends.
Like I'm watching it back.
I'm like, can I like, you tell if they don't like each other?
不。
No.
They did a great job, honestly.
I'm like, they they
That shows like how actors because I can't imagine fucking hating somebody and having to, like, be in love with them, like, or like, like, exes who then are, like, like, Madeline Klein and Chase Stokes or whatever.
Like, I mean, maybe they just ended really cordially, but, like, they still
That would just be difficult.
Yeah.
I could never be an actor or actress for so many reasons.
I mean, I'm not talented one, but two.
Yeah.
I used to think I could be an actor.
Like, was like, oh, but no, I couldn't honestly.
I just I don't think I could I don't think I could do it.
But I really wanted to.
But all I could all I could do is really talk.
That's not being an actor.
Period.
None of our friends run marathons.
Yeah.
I've never even watched the marathon, but I think because I don't want to because I've never had anybody I know run it.
所以
So
But I feel like I always, like, know someone who's going to watch someone, but I never have anyone who's like who would, like, get me to go watch because none of our friends run.
Yeah.
I just don't think I care to watch it personally just because I'm like, okay, just people running by.
Like, I like watching the videos of people, like, hugging people they know and stuff.
That's really cute.
But If we had a friend who ran, I thought we would go, but, like, no
one Yeah.
不。
No.
当然。
For sure.
I don't.
I mean, yeah, I feel like all of my friends are, like, fucking going out drinking.
They're not running a marathon.
It seems crazy.
You have to also, that's, like, really unfair timing.
I mean, I guess, like, those people probably the marathon runners probably aren't drinking anyway.
Is it the same time every year?
I think it's, like, around that time.
Maybe it's not on that exact I mean, it's on a it's definitely on a Saturday or a Sunday, so it might just fall, like, a week after or whatever, but I believe it's, like, similar timing.
But I'm like, granted, like, I know they're not, like, drinking and going out probably because they're training for a marathon.
But at the same time, I'm like, damn, you, like, can't celebrate Halloween really.
I mean, you, like, could maybe, like, early, but it's like you can't really go out and, like, go crazy because you gotta wake up and run a marathon, which is just crazy.
Like, I cannot imagine doing that.
I am very good with my money, but I'll be honest.
Sometimes I'm a little unorganized and I've missed payments because I kind of forgot to pay them.

They have access to over 47,000 fee free ATMs.
I hate paying a fee on an ATM.
This is so nice.
I feel like I struggled with that so much when I was younger because I simply did not have the funds to be able
to pay for an ATM fee.
Yeah.
It's super annoying, especially when you're taking out multiple different amounts through different ATMs.
It can really add up.

Guys, fall is my favorite season.
I love being able to throw on a cozy sweater, and I love the ones from Quince.
Yeah.

I did a big Quince haul last year before I went to Montreal because I was going to a very cold place, and they had so many good options.
Yeah.
They really have everything.
It's very nice.
They become my go to place for layers the whole during the holiday season.

Honestly, Quince Italian wool coats are at the top of my list this season.

They feel like designer, and the quality rivals high end brands, but without the high end markups.

Yesterday, we flew to Atlanta for one singular day and flew back within the same day.
And, honestly, kinda makes me realize, like, sometimes I'm like, okay.
A flight is, like, kind of the same as just, like, a drive depending like, if you, like, really think about it that way.
Like because it was, like, only an hour and a half flight to Atlanta, maybe an hour forty five.
And, like, you really can do that in a day.
But to me, that see, until I actually did it, that seemed like, oh my god.
Like, that's just, like, so crazy.
You're, like, going down all the way to the South and like coming back up.
But because we obviously didn't bring like any checked bags or any anything.
We literally just like walked on and off the plane, which was like made the airport experience a lot better.
I'm like, damn, I maybe should stop over packing and stop checking bags because this was so great.
But if you had any delays or any airport situation, that would not have been fun and would have obviously really ruined it, but we actually did not.
And it was very quick, easy.
And we went to SCAD, which is Savannah College of Art and Design, I believe.
It was I actually looked at SCAD.
It's like a it's like a design, fashion, art, film.
They have all of it.
大学。
College.
And I considered going there, like, barely, but I was like, ugh, I wanna move to New York, whatever.
But after, like, touring it,
I'm like walked away so inspired.
Yeah.
It was honestly sick.
Like, the school, they had the most insane, like, technology and, like, just resources for the students.
Like, this is literally not an ad.
But if you are
It made me want to, like, enroll.
没错。
Yeah.
If you were considering going back to school in any of those fields, like, genuinely consider it.
And I don't even think the Atlanta campus is, like, their biggest I think the Savannah one is their biggest, like, whole campus.
The Atlanta one is great, obviously, and they had amazing things, but I can't even imagine, like, what the Savannah one is.
They also have a location in Lacoste, France, which also sounds very, very cool.
But it was really fun.
Also, just made me realize how, like, I'm like, I'm so fucking stupid and not talented compared to these students.
还有。
Also.
They were walked away inspired, I was just like, wow.
Like, congrats on that.
I know.
It was really like, we went into a designing, like, sketch class or whatever.
And, like, the we I was looking at all the students, like, sketches that, you know, before the garments would go into production, it's like sketching it.
That's what they were all doing.
And I could literally never.
They all just like everything was drawn so well.
They all had so much like passion around their explanations of like why they chose what they chose.
Yeah.
They did something a certain way.
I'm just like I'm like, what am I passionate about?
I know.
Like Besides the
sour sauce.
I know.
Not a lot.
And I was like, wow.
Like, I need to, like, find a new interest.
不。
No.
I know.
I know that it's crazy how much talent there is and, like, how much goes into behind the scenes stuff.
And, like, also, I'm pretty sure the SCAD employment rate after college graduating is ninety nine percent, which is crazy, but honestly makes sense because it is so, like, insane, like, what they have there.
I'm like, honestly, if you go there and you graduate and you can't get a job after, I think that's a huge problem because you get were given, like, every resource in the world.
It was crazy.
Yeah.
So if you're looking to go to college, highly recommend SCAD.
Very cool.
It was really cool.
This tour they're like they have this one little they have a couple of museums that are like open to the public.
And like, if you're in Atlanta, like, were they were very interesting.
Yeah.
No, they did.
The the fashion museum was like really, really cool.
没错。
Yeah.
Like, 10 out of 10 recommend honestly.
No complaints.
And then we just got on a plane, came back, and went to bed.
And everyone on our flight was, like, getting hammered.
确实。
They were.
I don't really know why.
I mean, like
I was like, it's it's
like Monday night.
Evening.
Yeah.
But you know what?
I'm not judging.
Like, I get it.
But every single person in front of us, I heard them ordering, like, Jin, all of this stuff.
