To find out, we asked our friends at Haas if we could spend a race inside their garage, and we ended up doing the first podcast ever to be recorded inside an f one garage during a Grand Prix.

So maybe a a coffee or a shot of caffeine in honey shots, things like that, just to make sure that cognitively they are as aware as can be.

Anyway, there are some phrases you hear on team radio that make you think what on earth does that mean?

Now on f one explains, we spoke to the film's director, Joseph Kosinski, and we asked him about the other stars of the movie, the Apex Grand Prix cars.

The idea for the car actually came from Toto Wolff.

You know, if Apex had a car out there, it couldn't be the same as anything else.

So it was a machine built for shooting a Formula one movie, completely custom, but a real race car at the heart of it.

I think the thing that you don't realize watching it is that they have four cameras around their faces as they're driving, so they don't have the visibility that a driver would normally have.
