这是对被取代或替换的恐惧，也是对拥有我们想要之物的人怀有恶意的感觉。

It's the fear of being displaced or replaced, and it's a feeling of ill will towards those who possess something that we want.

我讨厌这种感觉。

And I hate it.

I hate jealousy so much, I hate that feeling.

Yeah, it's the worst.

It's gonna be a lot of reading today.

But Ari and I are like, it's so worth it.

《创世记》第37章，讲述雅各之子约瑟被卖为奴的故事。

Genesis 37, the story of Joseph, the son of Jacob, being sold into slavery.

约瑟是雅各十二个儿子之一，显然也是最受宠爱的那个。

Joseph is one of Jacob's 12 sons, and he is obviously the favorite.

雅各，正如你们所知，我想我们之前讨论过，我不确定，可能是几集前的内容，雅各是以撒的儿子，他不得不娶了利亚和拉结两姐妹，而雅各，或者说约瑟，只是他十二个儿子中最受宠的一个，这让他兄弟们嫉妒得发狂，愤怒到他们真的考虑过要杀了他。

Jacob, as you guys know, I think we talked about it, I don't know, a couple episodes ago where Jacob is the son of Isaac, and Jacob had to marry both Leah and Rachel, and Jacob is just, or Joseph is just one of his favorite sons out of the 12, and it makes his brothers so jealous, so angry that they legitimately think about killing him.

They sell him into slavery instead.

And then instead of, and you see the favor on Joseph's life, like I wanna do a whole episode on the favor of God, because the favor that's on Joseph's life, because Joseph is a good man who always does the right thing despite the circumstance that he's in, is absolutely incredible.

And so he gets sold into slavery only to emerge as Egypt's ruler and like one of the most powerful important people aside from Pharaoh.

He's like Pharaoh's secondhand man.

And so it's just absolutely incredible.

The story of Joseph, he's my favorite.

And God, I pray for freedom from jealousy today for all of us in Jesus name.

雅各又定居在迦南地，就是他父亲寄居的地方。

So Jacob settled again in the land of Canaan where his father had lived as a foreigner.

这是雅各和他家人的故事。

This is the account of Jacob and his family.

约瑟十七岁时，常与哥哥们一同牧羊。

When Joseph was 17 years old, he often tended his father's flocks.

他为他父亲的妾辟拉和悉帕的儿子们，也就是他的异母兄弟们放羊。

He worked for his half brothers, the sons of his father's wives, Bilhah and Zilpah.

但约瑟常将哥哥们的恶行报告给父亲。

But Joseph reported to his father some of the bad things his brothers were doing.

雅各爱约瑟胜过爱其他儿女，因为约瑟是他年老时得的儿子。

Jacob loved Joseph more than any of his other children because Jacob because Joseph had been born to him in his old age.

于是雅各为约瑟做了一件彩衣。约瑟的兄弟们见父亲爱约瑟胜过爱他们，就恨约瑟。

So one day, Jacob had a special gift made for Joseph, a beautiful robe, but his brothers hated Joseph because their father loved him more than the rest of them.

他们连一句好话都不愿对他说。

They couldn't say a kind word to him.

嫉妒使人刻薄。

Jealousy makes you unkind.

嫉妒会让你连对别人说句好话都做不到。

Jealousy will make it so that you can't even say something nice to somebody.

嫉妒会让你无法为他人的成功喝彩，因为你对自己缺乏安全感，又对他人所拥有的充满羡慕。

Jealousy makes it to where you can't celebrate somebody else's success because you're so insecure and envious of what this other person has.

我想说的是，在约瑟的时代，每个人都会穿一件长袍作为主要外衣，那是他们的日常穿着。

I just wanna say, so in Joseph's day, everyone had a robe that was their primary, like, outer garment, it's what they wore.

但约瑟的长袍有些特别。

But Joseph's robe was something special.

那可能是皇室成员才会穿的那种。

It was probably like the kind that royalty wore.

通常这种长袍只及大腿。

Like, usually, were just up to your thigh.

约瑟的那件可能长及脚踝。

Joseph's was gonna be probably past his it's like his ankle.

那件长袍会垂到他的脚踝，长袖且色彩斑斓。

It's it's it'll be down to his ankles, long sleeved and colorful.

这件长袍成了雅各偏爱约瑟的象征，加剧了他与兄弟们本已紧张的关系。

And this robe became a symbol of Jacob's favoritism towards Joseph, and it aggravated their already strained relationship between him and his brothers.

一天夜里，约瑟做了个梦，当他告诉兄弟们时，他们比以往更恨他了。

So one night Joseph had a dream and when he told his brothers about it, they hated him more than ever.

听听这个梦，他说。

Listen to this dream he said.

我们正在田里捆麦子。

We were out in the field tying up bundles of grain.

突然，我的麦捆立了起来，你们的麦捆都围过来向我的麦捆下拜。

Suddenly my bundle stood up and your bundles all gathered around and bowed low before mine.

他的兄弟们回应道：'你以为你要做我们的王吗？'

His brothers responded, so you think you will be our king, do you?

你真的以为你会统治我们吗？

Do you actually think you will reign over us?

他们因为他的梦和他谈论梦的方式而更加恨他。

And they hated him all the more because of his dreams and the way he talked about them.

Can I stop really quick and just say, in this moment, Joseph is receiving prophetic dreams from God?

他将成为统治者。

He is gonna become the ruler.

他将统治家族中的每一个人，甚至包括他的父母。

He is gonna rule over, rule and reign over everybody in his family, even his parents.

但我想说，炫耀是你最不该做的事。

But I just wanna say that bragging is the worst thing that you can do.

如果上帝赐予你天赋或梦想的恩赐，那不是用来夸耀自己的，而是要用来荣耀祂。

If God has given you a gift of talent, dream, it is not like that's from God and it's used to glorify him and never to brag and boast in yourself.

这只会导致许多破坏。

And that just leads to so much destruction.

Ari and I are huge, huge, huge, huge on not bragging.

是的。

Yeah.

We're so big on like humility above all else because the second you start talking about your gifts, first of all, they lose like power, honestly.

Know what I mean?

Because it's like, you don't need to If something is really that good, you don't need to talk about it.

And one other thing that we're also pretty big on is you don't need to tell everybody everything.

You don't need to tell everybody what God is speaking to you.

虽然你需要明智的建议，但让越多声音介入你与上帝之间私密的互动，这些声音就越可能污染上帝的旨意。

The more voices that you let, like, course you need wise counsel, but the more voices that you let into your situation or like a personal intimate thing with you and God, the more those voices can pollute what God wants to do.

So just protect what God is speaking over you, protect the dream that you have, and don't because words of discouragement can come so easily.

Like you tell someone, I have this dream, and they're like, that could never happen.

Yeah.

你懂我意思吗？

You know what I mean?

Yeah, and I think another thing too is when somebody has a dream and somebody comes to you about that dream, and maybe it's a dream that maybe you understand that he has a plan for each and every one of us.

And there's enough room for all of us.

It's so true.

我觉得这就是我年轻时在娱乐圈一直经历的事情。

And I think that's what I always went through when I was younger in the entertainment industry.

And I don't know if you went through this too, but like just I remember always being on social media and even in the audition rooms when they would book it and I'd be like, oh man, like I wish I could have gotten that.

And I it stole from me in my life because I would see them get the thing that I wanted.

And as I got older, I realized there's enough room for all of us and He has a plan.

So if you don't have something yet, it's because it's not your time.

And God is a God of timing.

It's just when somebody has something, just check your heart posture of being like, I'm really happy for you.

God has a plan for me too, but I'm going to be happy for you.

it is natural to feel that.

Yeah.

不久约瑟又做了一个梦，他又告诉了哥哥们。

Soon Joseph had another dream and again he told his brothers about it.

听着，我又做了一个梦，他说。

Listen, I have another dream, he said.

太阳、月亮和十一颗星星都向我下拜。

The sun, the moon and 11 stars bowed low before me.

这次他把梦告诉了父亲和兄弟们，但父亲责备了他。

This time he told the dream to his father as well as to his brothers, but his father scolded him.

这算是什么梦啊？

What kind of dream is that?

他问道。

He asked.

难道我和你母亲以及你的兄弟们真的要来向你俯伏下拜吗？

Will your mother and I and your brothers actually come and bow to the ground before you?

虽然约瑟的兄弟们嫉妒他，他的父亲却在思索这些梦的含义。

But while his brothers were jealous of Joseph, his father wondered what the dreams meant.

此后不久，约瑟的兄弟们去放牧父亲的羊群。

Soon after this, Joseph's brothers went to pasture their father's flocks.

他们离开一段时间后，雅各对约瑟说：你的兄弟们正在牧羊，你准备一下，我要派你去找他们。

When they had been gone for some time, Joaqub said to Joseph, your brothers are pasturing the sheep, get ready and I will send you to them.

然后我就直接跳过了。

And then I'm just gonna skip down.

所以基本上雅各去田里找到了他的兄弟们。

So then basically Jacob goes and finds his brothers in the fields.

然后我们就跳过其余部分，直接看第18节，因为约瑟夫去田里遇见他的兄弟们，而这就是约瑟被卖为奴的地方。

So, and then we're just gonna skip over the rest and go to verse 18 because Joseph goes and he meets his brothers who are in the field and this is where Joseph is sold into slavery.

当约瑟的兄弟们远远看见他过来时，就认出了他。

When Joseph's brothers saw him coming, they recognized him in the distance.

等他走近时，他们便密谋要杀害他。

As he approached, they made plans to kill him.

他们说：‘看哪，那个做梦的来了。’

Here comes the dreamer, they said.

‘来吧，我们杀了他，把他丢进这井里。’

Come on, let's kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns.

‘我们可以告诉父亲他被野兽吃了，然后看看他的梦还能怎样实现。’

We can tell our father a wild animal has eaten him, then we'll see what becomes of his dreams.

这简直是深切的嫉妒演变成了丑陋的愤怒。

Like, is literally deep jealousy that has turned into ugly rage.

你见过多少血脉相连的家人，因为嫉妒而分崩离析？

And how often do you see families blood and flat, like the same blood be torn apart because of jealousy?

家庭和学校里的孩子们都是这样。

Families and kids in school.

你在学校时有没有经历过那种被同学排挤到体无完肤的情况？

Did you ever experience that in school where you were in school and kids would just tear you apart?

严重到甚至无法待在教室里，因为他们就是不停地攻击你、摧毁你。

Like to the point where you don't even you can't even be in classrooms because you're it's it's they're just tearing you apart, tearing you apart.

这一切都始于童年时期，因为孩子们不懂事，太多人因嫉妒而在学校遭受地狱般的折磨。

And it all starts when they're kids because they don't know better and they're, know, it's just so many people go through absolute hell in school with the jealousy.

这一切都源于嫉妒，而嫉妒归根结底是恐惧和不安的产物。

All because of jealousy, which all just boils down to fear and insecurity.

真令人心碎。

It's heartbreaking.

但第21节说，当大哥流便听到他们的阴谋时，他出手救了约瑟。

But verse 21 says, but when Reuben heard of their scheme, which is his oldest brother, he came to Joseph's rescue.

他说：我们不要杀他。

Let's not kill him, he said.

何必让手上沾血呢？

Why should we shed any blood?

我们干脆把他丢进荒野里这个空蓄水池吧。

Let's just throw him into this empty cistern here in the wilderness.

这样不用我们动手他就会死。

Then he'll die without our laying hand on him.

吕便暗中计划要救约瑟，把他带回去给他的父亲。

Reuben was secretly planning to rescue Joseph and return him to his father.

所以当约瑟到了那里，他的兄弟们就剥掉了他所穿的那件彩衣。

So when Joseph arrived, his brothers ripped off the beautiful robe he was wearing.

他们抓住他，把他丢进蓄水池里。

Then they grabbed him and threw him into the cistern.

这蓄水池是空的。

Now the cistern was empty.

里面没有水。

There was no water in it.

正当他们坐下吃饭时，抬头看见一队骆驼商队从远处向他们走来。

Just as they were sitting down to eat, they looked up and saw a caravan of camels in the distance coming toward them.

那是

It was

一队以实玛利商人，正从基列运送树胶、香料和香脂下埃及去。

a group of Ishmaelite traders taking a load of gum, balm and aromatic resin from Gilead down to Egypt.

犹大对他的兄弟们说，我们杀害自己的兄弟有什么益处呢？

Judah said to his brothers, what will we gain by killing our brother?

我们还得掩盖这罪行。

We'd have to cover up the crime.

与其伤害他，不如把他卖给那些以实玛利商人。

Instead of hurting him, let's sell him to those Ishmaelite traders.

毕竟他是我们的亲兄弟，骨肉至亲。

After all, he is our brother, our own flesh and blood.

他的兄弟们同意了。

And his brother agreed.

当那些米甸的以实玛利商人经过时，约瑟的兄弟们就把他从井里拉上来，以二十块银子的价钱卖给了他们。

So when the Ishmaelites who were Midianite traders came by Joseph's brother, Joseph's brothers pulled him out of the cistern and sold him to them for 20 pieces of silver.

那些商人把他带到了埃及。

And the traders took him to Egypt.

过了一段时间，鲁本回来想从井里救出约瑟。

Sometime later, Ruben returned to get Joseph out of the cistern.

当他发现约瑟不见了时，他悲痛地撕裂了自己的衣服。

When he discovered that Joseph was missing, he tore his clothes in grief.

然后他回到兄弟们那里哀叹说：'那孩子不见了。'

Then he went back to his brother and lamented, the boy is gone.

我现在该怎么办？

What will I do now?

接着兄弟们宰了一只小山羊，把约瑟的彩衣浸在血里。

Then the brothers killed a young goat and dipped Joseph's robe in his blood.

他们派人把那件彩衣送给父亲，并带话说：

They sent the beautiful robe to their father with this message.

看看我们发现了什么。

Look at what we found.

这件袍子不是你儿子的吗？

Doesn't this robe belong to your son?

他们的父亲立刻认出了它。

Their father recognized it immediately.

‘是的，’他说，‘这是我儿子的袍子。’

Yes, he said, it is my son's robe.

‘一定是被野兽吃掉了。’

A wild animal must have eaten him.

‘约瑟夫显然是被撕成碎片了。’

Joseph has clearly been torn to pieces.

于是雅各撕裂衣服，披上麻布。

Then Jacob tore his clothes and dressed himself in burlap.

他为儿子深切哀悼了很长时间。

He mourned deeply for his son for a long time.

他的家人都试图安慰他，但他拒绝接受安慰。

His family all tried to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted.

他总说，我要为我的儿子哀悼至死，说完便痛哭起来。

I will go to my grave mourning for my son, he would say, and then he would weep.

与此同时，米甸商人抵达埃及，将约瑟卖给了法老的大臣波提乏。

Meanwhile, the Midianite traders arrived in Egypt where they sold Joseph to Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.

波提乏是护卫长。

Potiphar was captain of the palace guard.

我真心建议大家阅读——我是说整部《创世纪》，但尤其要读约瑟的故事，继续阅读《创世纪》38到50章。

I really encourage you guys to read, I mean, all of Genesis, but read the story of Joseph, continue on in Genesis 38 through 50.

嫉妒会让人做出一些极其、极其、极其可怕的事，这些行为往往与本性相悖。

Jealousy can have you do some really, really, really horrific things that oftentimes are out of character.

当你任由嫉妒在心中滋长时，要根除它会变得无比困难。

When you let jealousy cultivate in your heart, it is so much more difficult to uproot it.

正因如此，嫉妒是你必须立即处理的事——一旦察觉就要立刻带到祷告中。

That's why jealousy is something that you need to immediately, like as soon as you recognize it, you have to bring it to prayer.

你必须掌控它，因为它在心中存留越久，造成的伤害就越大。

You have to take control of it because the longer that it's in you, the more damage it'll do.

我认为识别嫉妒的首要迹象之一，就是当你发现自己过度关注他人的成就时。

And I think one of the first things that you can do to recognize jealousy is when you realize that you're paying too much attention to other people's achievements.

你过度关注他们的生活、他们拥有的东西、发生在他们身上的事。

You're paying too much attention to their life, what they have, what's going on in them.

就像当你开始记录别人身上发生的好事时，你需要意识到这种心态是不健康的。

Like when you're kind of like keeping record of somebody's like good things that are happening to them, like you need to recognize that's not good.

Yeah.

You know what I mean?

Subconsciously we're like, how are we jealous?

And that's literally stealing your joy.

That is a form of jealousy.

Like I said before, one of the things that I used to do was I was always looking at the things that I didn't have.

我总泡在社交媒体上。

I was always on social media.

总是为这些事情懊恼——为什么我的人生还没达到这个阶段？

I was always just grieving these things of like, well, why aren't I here in my life?

为什么我没有这个人拥有的东西？

Well, why don't I have what this person has?

让自己陷入这种情绪无法自拔。

And keeping it me stuck.

这让我的内心充满了欺骗和嫉妒。

It was keeping my heart in a position of deceit and jealousy.

因此改变你的视角，一切都在于视角。

And so changing your perspective, everything is about perspective.

Even like where I'm at in my life now with, and I talk about this all the time of, you know, being in my thirties and seeing everybody married and in these relationships and like there's two different perspectives.

Right?

I'll give you two.

I could sit here and be like, Oh my gosh, I'm, I, look at my friends.

They're all married.

Look at them.

I don't have this.

The holidays are coming.

我没有可以共度节日的人。

I don't have someone to spend the holidays with.

在我人生的这个阶段本该如此，但我却并非如此。

I should be here at this point in my life and I'm not.

现在听着，这就是为什么圣经说生死在舌头的权下。

Now listen to this is why the Bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue.

现在听听这个视角。

Now listen to this perspective.

我是单身。

I'm single.

我有一个美好的家庭，节日时可以和他们团聚。

I have a beautiful family that I get to go home with on the holidays.

我有一群最棒的朋友，这正是我能全心投入他们的时候。

I have the most incredible friends and this is the time where I can pour into them.

我有耶稣。

I have Jesus.

虽然我没有恋爱关系，但这是我为主做工的时候。

And though I don't have a relationship, it's my time to do the Lord's work.

我很健康。

I am healthy.

我可以去旅行。

I get to travel.

我每天醒来都不用为别人操心。

I get to wake up every day and not have to worry about someone else.

我可以随心所欲。

I can do whatever I want.

我可以过自己的生活。

I can live my life.

我可以去旅行。

I can travel.

我可以和女性朋友们在一起。

I can be with girlfriends.

我可以结交新朋友，也可以把这段时间奉献给耶稣。

I can make new friends and I can spend this time with Jesus.

1，对吧？

Now listen to the two perspectives, right?

所以当你不断倾注爱的时候，就没有，没有空间了。

And so when you are constantly pouring out love, there is no, there's no room.

真的，它能驱散嫉妒、羡慕和一切欺骗。

Like, it truly does cast out jealousy and envy and just deceit.

所以我真的觉得，保持受害者心态、看着别人的生活去比较并感到嫉妒是很容易的。

And so I have really, it's so easy to stay in victim mode and look at other people's life and compare and feel that jealousy.

But when we change our perspectives and really look at it at the lens that God looks at it's it changes you.

It changes your heart.

It changes everything.

And so really speaking life and not looking at what everybody else is doing.

Because honestly, like I said earlier, now that I look at my life, like I spent so many years looking at everybody else's life and what they're doing and comparing myself.

And God had such a beautiful plan that I can't even believe He had for me.

And I wasted so much time comparing myself and being jealous of how everybody else was living when He was, He had a plan for me and it just wasn't my time yet.

所以真正要做的就是尊重他人，而不是想着'为什么我没有那些？'

And so really just honoring other people and not feeling like, wow, why don't I have that?

而是要说'我真为你感到骄傲'，当你真诚祝福他人时，自己也会感觉更好。

And just being like, wow, I'm so proud of you and honoring them and you will feel better.

当你用嫉妒的眼光看待别人，想着'凭什么他们拥有那些'时，这种感觉并不好受。

It doesn't feel good when you're looking at other people in jealousy and being like, Ugh, why do they have that?

So why do we look at other people and want what they have when God made us so uniquely?

So it's just this cycle of not being happy with what you have and looking to other people.

That's why fixing your eyes on Jesus, as cliche as it might sound, is the most important thing, because when you're looking at Jesus, you're not looking at anyone else.

And so we're reading this and we're like freaking out because I'm like, no, mine needs to be more just the way that Ari is.

And you're like, oh my gosh, mine needs to be like Angela's.

We start freaking out.

And do you remember, I literally go, hang on, wait.

I was like, listen, I have goosebumps.

And by the way, this is the most vulnerable thing that you can do is admit to someone, I think I'm comparing myself to you.

Because in that moment, I didn't know if Ari was feeling what I was feeling, but I took a risk to be like, I gotta get this out there because I can't let this frustrate me.

I said, do you feel the way I do right now?

Are you comparing yourself to me?

And she was like, yeah.

And I was like, okay, I'm comparing myself to you so hard thinking I need to sound more like you, but this is not right.

And like, I felt like I could breathe because I was like, yes, me too.

Well, because I know that God loves confession and I know that when we're feeling jealous of people or we're being competitive or comparing, He wants nothing more.

It gives me goosebumps because it's the hardest thing in the world to go to someone and say, I'm feeling jealous of you right now.

Like, I'm learning that God does, like I said last episode, he does not make any mistakes and he's showing me these little things about you that you have hated your whole life that you were told were so stupid and you like made you feel so worthless.

These are actually the things that I love so much.

And I said to you guys, like you guys make me feel so accepted and loved at the things that I used to tear myself apart with.

And so these little things that you're like, oh, I wish I didn't have this.

‘要是我能像某人那样聪明就好了’，或是‘要是我拥有...’

I wish I was like smart like this person, or I wish I had.

No, actually God made you exactly the way you are and he's gonna use these things for your good.

He's done that with my life.

And it's made me love myself.

It's really made me love myself because guys, if we don't feel worth it, if we feel worth worthless, when God loves us so much, how can we accept God's love and how can we love others properly when we don't love ourselves?

When we don't love ourselves, we're not nice to other people.

这千真万确。

It's so true.

And that's why I don't that's truly why, like where I am in my life now, I don't get offended.

Like I don't really have the spirit of offense anymore with other people because I know in my own life, when I didn't feel good, I wasn't a nice person to other people.

And I and I'll just to add to that, like projection is the most real thing in the world.

Like when somebody isn't treating you right, it's because they're not feeling good.

Obviously, just like what you just said.

I know I've experienced it in my life.

And I think the one thing about jealousy, and of course you don't get it right every time and I haven't gotten it right every time, but like I'm very aware of jealousy.

Like I'm so aware of when I because I really do believe, like in my heart of hearts that God made me so special.

And so I know, I have an awareness that when I'm feeling comparison to somebody, like why don't I have what they have or should I be more like them or is this, are they better because they have this trait?

I know that that's not from God.

And so when those feelings arise in me, like I am so quick to be like, I have to take this to Jesus because it's okay that I'm feeling like this, but at least I can't project on somebody else.

At least I cannot let this spill over and bleed on somebody else because I'm feeling a certain way.

And so, you know what I do to actively combat when I'm feeling that way.

And I really genuinely do this.

当我感到嫉妒时，我会公开地用言语赞美那个人。

When I feel feelings of jealousy, I will outwardly, verbally celebrate that person.

I will be like, I am not allowed to let this take root in my heart and begin to project.

I'm gonna purposely call it out.

The thing that I'm feeling jealous of about that person, I'm gonna say, hey, I love this thing about you.

I'm honoring you in this.

And I'm purposely gonna like say it out loud and it takes just so much power out of it.

Because if you let it fester and you let it inside of you and be like, oh, I wish I had, it'll make you start acting bad.

It does.

And so just the best way to combat that is to be like, hey, I love the fact that you are able to do X, Y, and Z.

And so celebrating people, honoring people, praising the gifts that God gave somebody else.

And that's another thing about jealousy, how can you be jealous of what God is doing in somebody else's life?

That's like when pastors or churches or ministers, is so much competition in the And church again, you're not a bad person, it's normal, it's natural, we're all just broken, insecure humans who wanna be loved and celebrated and wanna be praised.

And so, but if you really think about it, if somebody else has a gift that God gave them, how can I be jealous of what God gave somebody?

You I know what I know, He all has certain things for each and every one of us.

That's why you cannot compare yourself.

You can't be jealous of what somebody else has because he has a plan for your life.

And then even if, you you don't know the person and you're jealous of him, maybe you're, I don't know what you're, who you're comparing yourself to or speaking hate against someone, not in a way that you're a bad person, but in a way that you are feeling inferior because jealousy is something that you're insecure about.

When you speak, when you even like gossip, when we gossip, when we feel something about somebody else, it's a projection of how we feel about ourselves.

Look how far out your things.

And like Angela said, to come to the feet of Jesus, when we keep things hidden, it rots in us.

And So we can act as if not ourselves.

Like we, that's when the enemy, like we come in agreement with the enemy, but when we humble ourselves every day to say, Hey Jesus, this is what I'm feeling.

That's humility.

That's humbling yourself before God.

And that's a new heart.

That's like what it means to have a new heart, to be humble, not to be perfect.

To know that I'm gonna mess up, I'm gonna rear off paths sometimes, but to know that God will correct us and put us back because our goal every day is to die to ourselves and live like Jesus.

And I feel like half of the bat, I mean, it's just like you can either be intimidated by people or you can be inspired by them.

You know, in honor of it probably being Thanksgiving week right now or like coming close to Thanksgiving, I just wanna mention that being grateful is a great way to combat jealousy.

Being envious, one of God's commandments is do not covet your neighbor's wife or your neighbor or your neighbor's things.

We've said that before, but like, do not covet.

Do not want what somebody else has.

And I think about, like, grateful is such an incredible way to combat jealousy because I think about the Israelites are going from Egypt to the promised land and they're stuck in the wilderness for forty years because they don't stop complaining.

Because they're complaining about what they don't have, so God is like, I'm not even gonna let you move forward into the promised land.

And I think about how like literally God gave them so many things.

He gave them manna from heaven.

他让磐石涌出泉水给他们喝。

He gave them water from a rock.

他直接分开红海，让他们在干地上行走。

He literally parted the Red Sea and they walked through it on dry ground.

他不断施行神迹，一个接一个的神迹。

He was doing miracles, miracles.

可这对他们来说还是不够。

And it just wasn't enough for them.

就是怎么都不满足。

Like it wasn't enough.

他们想要回头。

They wanted to go back.

他们贪恋所有已得的，却又被所有未得之物所吞噬。

They wanted everything that all they did, they were consumed by everything that they didn't have.

在这个案例中，上帝因他们的抱怨而不让他们前行。

And in this case, God didn't let them move forward because of their complaining.

我在想，由于我们过度关注自己缺乏的东西，上帝可能也正因此而不让我们前进。

And I wonder what we're not being, what God isn't letting us move forward to because of how much we focus on what we don't have.

我认为这在我们生活中是一个巨大的障碍，当我们坐着时总在问：上帝啊，为什么？

I think it's such a major block in our lives when we're sitting there being like, but God, why?

上帝啊，为什么？

But God, why?

我想要这个，为什么我得不到这个？

But I want this, but why don't I have this?

而他说：哦，伙计，这里有一整片应许之地，但我甚至不会让你通过，因为你正在自我设限。

And he's like, oh man, there's a whole promised land right here, but I'm not even gonna let you go through it because you're blocking yourself.

That's so true.

所以关键在于感恩你所拥有的。

And so it's just like being grateful for what you do have.

对我而言，心怀感恩是我生命中拥有美好事物的唯一原因。

I know for me, having a grateful heart is the only reason why I have good things in my life.

感恩的心能敞开通道，让上帝源源不断地注入更多祝福与美好。

My grateful heart opens, allows for God to just continually funnel in more blessing, more good things.

我深知，当你专注于生命中的丰盛时，感恩的心实际上会成为更多祝福的通道——因为丰盛本就存在，这是祂对我们的应许。

Like I know, like literally a grateful heart is actually a funnel for more and more blessing when you focus on the abundance in your life because there is, and he promises us abundance.

祂不是匮乏之神。

He's not a God of lack.

祂是丰盛的神。

He is a God of abundance.

对我们所有人来说，祂的恩典取之不尽。

There's more than enough for all of us.

每个人都有足够的空间。

There's room for everybody.

你无需嫉妒他人。

You don't need to be jealous.

你无需觊觎他人所有，因你有自己的位置与使命，这是截然不同的道路。

You You don't need to want what somebody else has because you have a place, you have a purpose, and it's completely separate.

上帝创造你时毫无差错，正如祂所承诺的丰盛恩典，祂的应许永不落空。

God, like you said, made no mistake when he made you.

你无需嫉妒他人所得，因为你拥有属于自己的位置与使命。

You're so special, you have a purpose, and you don't need to be worried about what anybody else is doing because if it makes you feel any better, they want what somebody else has too.

我真心希望你们明白，你们每个人都是独特且独特的。

And I just I really want you guys to understand that you're special.
