在上节课中,我教了你们如何每天练习英语流利度。这节课,我将通过真实的英语对话——没错,就是现实生活中的英语对话——来具体展示你们能学到多少关于英语流利度、表达方式和词汇的知识。准备好了吗?我是Tiffany老师,让我们直接开始吧。我们将深入分析三段不同的对话。

In our last lesson, I taught you how to practice your English fluency each and every day. In this lesson, I'm going to literally show you how from real English conversations, that's right, real life English conversations, you can learn so much about English fluency, English expressions, English vocabulary, and so much more. Are you ready? Well then, I'm teacher Tiffany, let's jump right in. We have three different conversations we're going to dive deeper into.

Speaker 0

第一段对话是关于制定周末计划的。这是对话的第一部分:'嘿,周末有什么安排?别担心,别担心。'

The first one is all about making plans for the weekend. Here's the first part of the conversation. Yo, what's the game plan for the weekend? Don't worry. Don't worry.

Speaker 0

我会向你们解释所有这些新表达。让我们来梳理这段对话:'嘿,周末有什么计划?我还在犹豫,可能考虑去看场电影什么的。'

I'm going to explain all of these new expressions to you. So let's go through the conversation. Here we go. Yo, what's the game plan for the weekend? I've been on the fence maybe thinking about catching a movie or something.

Speaker 0

你呢?我本来想趁着天气好去徒步步道走走,如果天气不错的话。你要一起吗?哦,当然。我好久没去徒步了。

What about you? I was kinda hoping to take advantage of the weather and hit up a hiking trail if it's nice out. You down? Oh, for sure. I haven't hit the rails or the trails in forever.

Speaker 0

算我一个。太好了。我们周六早上9点在公园入口碰头吧?没问题。完美。

Count me in. Sweet. Let's meet up at the park entrance 9AM Saturday. Cool? Perfect.

Speaker 0

我会带些零食和水。好主意。就这么定了。到时候见。现在我要和你们说实话。

I'll bring some snacks and water. Good deal. It's a plan. See you there. Now let me be very honest with you.

Speaker 0

这段对话是真实发生在英语母语者之间的美式对话。但里面有很多你们可能从未听过的新表达、新词和俚语。这就是为什么这节课如此重要。我们要从对话的第一部分开始深入分析,主题依然是制定周末计划。

This conversation is a conversation that would actually happen between native English speakers in America. But there were so many new expressions, so many new words and slang terms that you probably have never heard before. This is why this lesson is so important. I want us to dive in to the very first part of the conversation. Again, the topic making plans for the weekend.

Speaker 0

我们听到的第一个词是'game plan'。有人说:'嘿,周末有什么计划?'这里的'game plan'是什么意思?它指的是策略或行动计划。就是策略或行动计划。

The first thing we heard was game plan. Person one said, Yo, what's the game plan for the weekend? What does game plan mean? It's just referring to a strategy or plan of action. A strategy or plan of action.

Speaker 0

所以我可以问:'嘿,有什么计划?我们周末要做什么?'用更自然的俚语表达就是:'嘿,有什么game plan?有什么策略?'

So I could say, hey, what's the plan? What are we doing this weekend? Instead, a natural way of saying it again, slang term a bit. Hey, what's the game plan? What's the strategy?

Speaker 0

我们周末要做什么?我想给你看三个例句。第一个:'我们项目的game plan是把任务分配给团队成员。'你看,这个词也可以用在商务环境中。

What are we doing this weekend? I want to show you three example sentences. Here we go. Our game plan for the project is to divide the tasks among the team members. As you're seeing, you can also use this term in a business environment.

Speaker 0

第二个例句:'教练在比赛前和队员们讨论了game plan。'最后:'你提高英语技能的game plan是什么?'明白这个联系了吗?你的英语学习策略是什么?

Second example sentence, the coach discussed the game plan with the players before the match. And finally, what's your game plan for improving your English skills? You see the connection, right? What's your game plan? What's your strategy for improving your English skills?

Speaker 0

接下来听到的短语是'on the fence'。有人说:'我一直on the fence。'这个短语实际是什么意思?

Now, the next part, the next thing that was said was on the fence. Here we go. I've been on the fence. I've been on the fence. What does on the fence actually mean?

Speaker 0

'on the fence'意思是犹豫不决或不确定。我在两个选择间摇摆不定。不太确定。就是犹豫不决的意思。来看第一个例句。

On the fence means undecided or unsure about something. I'm kind of going between two options. I'm not really sure. On the fence, undecided or unsure. Here's the first example sentence.

Speaker 0

例句一:'她对是否接受这份工作offer还on the fence。'她有点犹豫不决。例句二:'我对今晚去不去派对还on the fence。'

She's on the fence about whether to accept the job offer or not. She's a bit undecided. She's on the fence. What about sentence number two? I'm on the fence about going to the party tonight.

Speaker 0

不太确定。第三句话是:他一直在犹豫该上哪所大学。现在你明白英语中'on the fence'这个表达的用法了吧。那下一句呢?

Not really sure. And sentence number three. He's been on the fence about which college to attend. So you see now how we use this expression in English on the fence. But what about the next one?

Speaker 0

下一句也非常关键和重要。再说一次,我一直在犹豫,你现在知道了,可能是在考虑去看场电影之类的。你呢?'Catching a movie'这是什么意思?

The next one was also very key and very important. Again, I've been on the fence, which you know now, maybe thinking about catching a movie or something. What about you? Catching a movie. What does this mean?

Speaker 0

'Catching a movie'就是去电影院看电影的意思。我要去看场电影。记住,我们通过英语对话帮助你听起来更自然,更像英语母语者,并提高英语流利度。'Catch a movie'。这是第一个例句。

Catching a movie just means going to watch a movie at a theater. I'm gonna catch a movie. Remember, we're using English conversations to help you start sounding more natural, more like a native English speaker, and to improve your English fluency. Catch a movie. Here's the first sentence.

Speaker 0

我们正考虑今晚去看场电影。要一起吗?下一个。我喜欢周末去看电影。最后,晚饭后我们决定去看场电影。

We're thinking of catching a movie tonight. Want to join? Next. I love catching a movie on the weekends. And finally, after dinner, we decided to catch a movie.

Speaker 0

我们决定去看电影。从现在起,你可以说'我这周末要去看场电影'。英语母语者会看着你说'哦,不错,你英语很好'。明白了吗?好,我们继续。

We decided to go watch a movie. Moving forward now, you can say, I'm just gonna catch a movie this weekend. And a native English speaker will look at you, Oh, okay, your English is good. You got it? All right, let's keep going now.

Speaker 0

再次拆解这段对话来理解单词和表达。下一个是'Was kind of hoping to take advantage of the weather'。'take advantage of'是什么意思?意思就是好好利用某个机会。

Again, breaking down this conversation to understand the words and expressions. Here's the next one. Was kind of hoping to take advantage of the weather. What does take advantage of mean? This just means to make good use of an opportunity.

Speaker 0

再说一次,好好利用某个机会。我想好好利用这天气。这个周末天气简直太棒了。阳光明媚,鸟儿啁啾,微风轻拂。我想好好享受这天气。

Again, to make good use of an opportunity. I want to take advantage of the weather. The weather absolutely amazing this weekend. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the wind, the breeze is blowing. I want to take advantage of the weather.

Speaker 0

这是第一个例句。你应该好好利用免费的健身房会员资格。第二句,我趁着打折买了部新手机。第三句,让我们趁着好天气去野餐吧。明白了吗?

Here's the first example sentence. You should take advantage of the free gym membership. Sentence number two, I took advantage of the sale and bought a new phone. Sentence number three, let's take advantage of the good weather and go for a picnic. You got it?

Speaker 0

很好。'take advantage of'(利用)。紧接着要学的是这个表达方式。'如果天气好就去徒步路线走走'。有兴趣吗?

Excellent. Take advantage of. Right after take advantage of this is the next expression that was used. And hit up a hiking trail if it's nice out. You down?

Speaker 0

再来一遍,'如果天气好就去徒步路线走走'。有兴趣吗?那么'hit up'是什么意思?'hit up a hiking trail'(去徒步路线),这表示什么?

Again, and hit up a hiking trail if it's nice out. You down? So what does hit up? Hit up a hiking trail. What does that mean?

Speaker 0

'hit up'就是去某个地方的意思。比如'等会儿我要去麦当劳','等会儿我要去徒步',都是指要去那个地方。明白了吗?

Hit up just means to visit or go to a place. Yeah, I'm gonna hit up McDonald's after this. Yeah, I'm gonna hit up the trail after this. Yeah, I'm going to visit or go to that place. You got it?

Speaker 0

很好。看第一个例句:'我们去市中心那家新餐厅吧'。第二句:'我们去商场购物了'。第三句:'他们每年夏天都去海滩'。

Excellent. Alright, here's the first example sentence. Let's hit up that new restaurant downtown. Sentence number two, we hit up the mall to do some shopping. And sentence number three, they hit up the beach every summer.

Speaker 0

插一句,我也正计划近期去海滩呢。明白了吗?很好。那我们继续。

Sidebar, I'm planning to hit up the beach very soon too. You got it? Excellent. Alright. Here we go.

Speaker 0

现在我们知道了'hit up',那'hit the trails'呢?对话继续:'当然啦,我好久没去徒步了'。

So we know hit up. What about hit the trails? Here's the next part of the conversation. Oh, for sure. I haven't hit the trails in forever.

Speaker 0

算我一个。再来一次。哦,当然。我好久没去徒步了。算我一个。

Count me in. One more time. Oh, for sure. I haven't hit the trails in forever. Count me in.

Speaker 0

‘hit the trails’是什么意思?字面意思就是去远足或走步道。重申一下,就是去远足或走步道。我的一个好朋友刚跟我说,嘿,蒂芙,我有国家公园的通票。咱们去走走吧。

What does hit the trails mean? It literally just means to go hiking or walking on trails. Again, to go hiking or walking on trails. One of my good friends, she just said, hey, Tiff, I have a pass to all the national parks. Let's hit up some trails.

Speaker 0

我们尽快去徒步吧。就是去远足或走步道。明白了吗?太棒了。好的,这是第一个例句。

Let's hit the trails soon. Let's go hiking or walk on trails. You got it? Excellent. Alright, here's the first example sentence.

Speaker 0

我们喜欢每周六早上去徒步。接下来,她计划去国家公园徒步。最后,下班后他喜欢通过徒步来放松。明白了吗?太棒了。

We love to hit the trails every Saturday morning. Next, she's planning to hit the trails in the national park. And finally, after work, he likes to hit the trails to relax. You got it? Excellent.

Speaker 0

好的。接下来我在读对话时说的是这句:太好了。我们周六早上9点在公园入口见。没问题吧?

Alright. Now the next thing that I said, as I was reading the conversation to you was this. Sweet. Let's meet up at the park entrance 9AM Saturday. Cool?

Speaker 0

重复一遍:太好了。我们周六早上9点在公园入口见。没问题吧?这里的‘cool’实际是什么意思?我们再次通过真实英语对话来提升你的流利度,让你听起来更自然。

Again, sweet. Let's meet up at the park entrance 9AM Saturday. Cool? What does this cool actually mean? Again, we're reviewing these real life English conversations to improve your fluency and to help you sound more natural.

Speaker 0

‘cool’只是表示同意或赞成的非正式说法。我经常用这个词。有人打电话问我,嘿蒂芙,想出来玩吗?我会说,好啊,没问题,我参加。

Cool just means an informal way to agree or show approval. I use this all the time. Someone calls me, hey Tiff, you want to hang out? Yeah, cool, cool. I'm down.

Speaker 0

酷。一种非正式表示同意或赞许的方式。这是第一个例句。我们六点见面可以吗?酷。

Cool. An informal way to agree or show approval. Here's the first example sentence. Can we meet at 6PM? Cool.

Speaker 0

回应呢?酷。我同意。当然。第二句。

The response? Cool. I agree. Of course. Sentence number two.

Speaker 0

我会带饮料。酷。谢谢。再次强调,第一句陈述和回应。接下来第三个例子,我们今晚要去听演唱会。

I'll bring the drinks. Cool. Thanks. Again, first statement and the response. And next example three, we're going to the concert tonight.

Speaker 0

酷。玩得开心。酷。我也参加。酷。

Cool. Have fun. Cool. I'm down too. Cool.

Speaker 0

玩得开心。再说一次,酷。那这个呢?同样是对话的一部分。好约定。

Have fun. Again, cool. And what about this? Again, part of the conversation. Good deal.

Speaker 0

就这么定了。到时候见。再次强调,好约定。就这么定了。到时候见。

It's a plan. See you there. Again, good deal. It's a plan. See you there.

Speaker 0

‘好约定’是什么意思?我也经常用这个说法。字面意思是指有利的协议或安排。是的,好约定。指有利的协议或安排。

What does good deal mean? I use this one also all the time. It literally means an agreement or arrangement that is favorable. Yes, good deal. An agreement or arrangement that is favorable.

Speaker 0

这是第一个例子。如果你做晚饭,我就洗碗。哦,好主意。这就是回应。哦,好主意。

Here's the first example. I'll do the dishes if you cook dinner. Oh, good deal. That's the response. Oh, good deal.

Speaker 0

我同意你的看法。好计划。第二点,最后一块蛋糕可以给你。哦,好主意。我喜欢蛋糕。

I agree with you. Great plan. Number two, you can have the last piece of cake. Oh, good deal. I love cake.

Speaker 0

第三个例子,我们平摊礼物的费用吧。哦,好主意。是的,我喜欢这个想法。我同意。我们平摊礼物的费用。

And example three, let's split the cost of the gift. Oh, good deal. Yes, I like that idea. I agree. Let's split the cost of the gift.

Speaker 0

好主意。明白了吗?太棒了。好的。现在,我们再来看一遍这段对话。

Good deal. You got it? Excellent. Okay. Now, one more time looking at this conversation.

Speaker 0

现在我们知道了这些词汇和表达。开始吧。再次看这段对话,现在要准确理解他们在见面和制定计划时的对话内容。嘿,周末有什么计划?我还在犹豫,可能想去看场电影什么的。

Now that we know the words and expressions. Here we go. Again, looking at the conversation to understand now exactly what was going on as they were talking about meeting and making plans. Yo, what's the game plan for the weekend? I've been on the fence maybe thinking about catching a movie or something.

Speaker 0

你呢?本来想趁着天气好去徒步路线走走,如果天气不错的话。你有兴趣吗?哦,当然。我好久没去徒步了。

What about you? Was kinda hoping to take advantage of the weather and hit up a hiking trail if it's nice out. You down? Oh, for sure. I haven't hit the trails in forever.

Speaker 0

算我一个。太好了。我们周六早上9点在公园入口集合。没问题吧?完美。

Count me in. Sweet. Let's meet up at the park entrance 9AM Saturday. Cool? Perfect.

Speaker 0

我会带些零食和水。成交。就这么定了。到时见。现在你明白这段对话了。

I'll bring some snacks and water. Good deal. It's a plan. See you there. Now you understand that conversation.

Speaker 0

对吧?在计划周末活动。现在我们来看第二段对话。在继续之前,我想提醒你今天学到的所有内容——那些表达方式和对话片段,课后你可以在「跟Tiffany学英语」APP上练习。如果还没下载,这是免费应用,点击描述栏链接就能练习所学内容。

Right? Making plans for the weekend. Now let's move on to the second conversation. Before we move on to the second conversation, I wanna remind you everything you're learning today, all the expressions, the conversation portions, you can practice after this lesson by going to the English with Tiffany app. If you haven't already downloaded, it's a free download, hit the link in the description and you can practice what you learn.

Speaker 0

记住学完后复习很重要。现在继续看第二段对话:餐厅点餐场景。你觉得菜单上什么看起来不错?我比较倾向意大利面。

Remember it's important to review after you learn something. Let's keep going now, let's move on to the second conversation. Here's the second conversation, ordering food at a restaurant. So what looks good to you here? I'm leaning towards the spaghetti.

Speaker 0

你呢?我觉得披萨可能更合适。尝过吗?没,还没这口福。好吃吗?

You? I'm thinking the pizza might be the move. Ever tried it? Nah, haven't had the pleasure. Is it good?

Speaker 0

噢,绝对好吃。很正宗。强烈推荐。好吧,说服我了。就点披萨吧。

Oh, absolutely. It's legit. Highly recommend. Alright, you sold me. Let's go with the pizza.

Speaker 0

有眼光。必须的。开动吧。这是段简短对话,他们在餐厅决定点什么餐。

Good looking out. No doubt. Let's eat. Now this was a short conversation. They're at a restaurant, they're trying to figure out what to order.

Speaker 0

但你注意到有这么多新表达、这么多在餐厅点餐语境中使用的新词汇。我想带大家深入剖析,因为希望你们能运用这些表达,说得像母语者一样地道。再回顾下餐厅点餐场景。第一句是「我比较倾向意大利面」,你呢?

But you notice that there were so many new expressions, so many new words used in the context of speaking about what to order at a restaurant. So I want us to dive deeper because I want you to be able to use these expressions and sound like a native English speaker. So again, ordering food at a restaurant. The first one, I'm leaning towards the spaghetti. You?

Speaker 0

再次,我倾向于选择意大利面。'倾向于'是什么意思?就是指更偏向或考虑某个选项。我喜欢意大利面也喜欢米饭,但我有点倾向于,我有点更偏向这个选择。英语里我们说'leaning towards'。

Again, I'm leaning towards the spaghetti. What does leaning towards mean? It just means inclining or considering a particular option. I like spaghetti and I like rice, but I'm kind of leaning towards, I'm kind of more inclined to this option. In English, we say leaning towards.

Speaker 0

来看看这些例句。第一个:我倾向于买那条蓝色连衣裙。下一个:他倾向于接受那份工作邀请。

So check out these example sentences. Here's the first one. I'm leaning towards buying the blue dress. Next. He's leaning towards taking the job offer.

Speaker 0

最后:我们倾向于明年夏天去欧洲度假。明白了吗?再次强调,'leaning towards'。那下一个表达呢?同样是在对话中出现的。

And finally, we're leaning towards vacationing in Europe next summer. You got it? Again, leaning towards. And what about this next one? Again, it came up during the conversation.

Speaker 0

我觉得披萨可能是最佳选择。你吃过吗?仔细听:'I'm thinking the pizza might be the move. Ever tried it?'

I'm thinking the pizza might be the move. Ever tried it? Listen closely. I'm thinking the pizza might be the move. Ever tried it?

Speaker 0

现在你知道'might be the move'这个词组了,对吧?但'be the move'这三个字连起来是什么意思?这个表达就是指成为最佳选择或方案。

Now, you know the words might be the move. Right? But what does be the move together? These three words, what does this expression mean? Be the move just means to be the best choice or option.

Speaker 0

重申一下,就是指最佳选择或方案。你正在学习真实的英语,我在对话中使用的英语,以英语为母语的美国人日常交流用的英语。所以'be the move'就是指最佳选择或方案。

Again, to be the best choice or option. Again, you're learning real English. English that I use in conversations. English that native English speakers, Americans use in conversation. So be the move to be the best choice or option.

Speaker 0

第一个例句:这周末去海滩可能是个好选择。这周末去海滩可能是最佳方案。明白了吗?没错,你很聪明。

Here's the first example sentence. Going to the beach might be the move this weekend. Going to the beach might be the best choice or option for this weekend. You got it? Yes, you're smart.

Speaker 0

第二条建议,今晚点外卖绝对是个好选择。最后,快速午餐的话,三明治店是不二之选。再说一次,最佳选择或方案。那么下一条呢?这是我常说的话。

Tip number two, ordering takeout is definitely the move tonight. And finally, for a quick lunch, the sandwich shop is the move. Again, be the move, best choice or option. And what about this next one? This is something I say a lot.

Speaker 0

在朋友和家人中,我以这个闻名。哦,绝对没错。这很靠谱。强烈推荐。再来一次。

I'm known for this among my friends and my family. Oh, absolutely. It's legit. Highly recommend. One more time.

Speaker 0

哦,绝对没错。这很靠谱。强烈推荐。'靠谱'是什么意思?再说一次,这很靠谱。

Oh, absolutely. It's legit. Highly recommend. What does legit mean? Again, it's legit.

Speaker 0

意思就是它是真实的、正宗的,或者非常棒。其实就是'legitimate'的缩写形式,以防你想知道。所以再说一次,这很靠谱。这个俚语表示真实、正宗或非常棒。来看看这些例句。

It just means it's genuine, authentic, or very good. It's really the shortened form of legitimate, just in case you wanna know. So again, it's legit. This is a slang term means it's genuine, authentic or very good. So check out these examples sentences.

Speaker 0

第一个例子:这家新餐厅很靠谱,食物太棒了。下一个,他的投资建议很靠谱,值得遵循。最后,昨晚的音乐会太靠谱了。

Here's the first one. This new restaurant is legit. The food is amazing. Next, his advice on investing is legit and worth following. And finally, the concert last night was legit.

Speaker 0

我们玩得很开心。明白了吗?太棒了。所以再说一次,这很靠谱。那这个呢?

We had a great time. You got it? Excellent. So again, it's legit. What about this one?

Speaker 0

对话中也提到了这个。这是对话的一部分:好吧,你说服我了。再说一次。好吧,你说服我了。

This came up during the conversation as well. Here's the part of the conversation. Alright, you sold me. Again. Alright, you sold me.

Speaker 0

“sold me”是什么意思?它的意思就是说服我做某事或相信某事。说服我做或相信某事。好吧,你说服我了。他们当时在讨论点什么餐。

What does sold me mean? Sold me just means convinced me to do or believe something. Convinced me to do or believe something. Alright, you sold me. They were talking about what to order.

Speaker 0

让我们看看这些例句。开始了。“你说服我加入健身房了”。接着,“她的演示说服我接受了这个新产品”。最后,“他说服我去尝试那家新餐厅”。

So let's check out these example sentences. Here we go. You sold me on the idea of joining the gym. Next, her presentation sold me on the new product. And finally, he sold me on trying the new restaurant.

Speaker 0

明白了吗?很好。再强调一次,“sold me”。那下一个呢?好的,对话的这个部分。

You got it? Excellent. So again, sold me. And what about this next one? Alright, this part of the conversation.

Speaker 0

“就选披萨吧”。再说一次,“就选披萨吧”。记住,我们讨论的是英语母语者在真实生活中使用的短语、表达和词汇。真实对话,地道英语流利度。现在我们要学的是“let's go with”。

Let's go with the pizza. Again, let's go with the pizza. Remember, we're speaking about English phrases, expressions, and words that native English speakers use in real life. Real life conversations, real life English fluency. And now we have let's go with.

Speaker 0

这个表达的意思是选择或决定某事。重申一下,选择或决定某事。来看例句:“客厅就用蓝色涂料吧”(选择蓝色涂料装饰客厅)。

This just means to choose or decide on something. Again, to choose or decide on something. So here are the example sentences. Let's go with the blue paint for the living room. Let's choose the blue paint for the living room.

Speaker 0

接着,“我们不知道吃什么,就选披萨吧”。最后,“电影之夜就看喜剧片吧”。明白了吗?很好。

Next, we're not sure what to eat. Let's go with pizza. And finally, for the movie night, let's go with a comedy. You got it? Excellent.

Speaker 0

好的。接下来对话中出现了这个表达:“good looking out”。再说一次,“good looking out”。这是什么意思呢?

Alright. Next we had during the conversation, this expression. Good looking out. Again, good looking out. What does this mean?

Speaker 0

字面意思就是表达对他人关心或帮助的感激之情。对吧?昨天真事,我朋友确实在组织我们教堂的野餐。对吧?而我早上还要给他们上课,所以会迟到。

It literally just means an expression of gratitude for someone's consideration or assistance. Right? Yesterday, true story, my friend was actually organizing the picnic at my church. Right? And I had to teach them classes in the morning, so I was gonna be running late.

Speaker 0

我想帮她。所以一下课就立刻去了教堂,帮她忙了几个小时,她说'太感谢了,真是靠谱'。她可以说'真是靠谱,太感谢你的帮助、关心和协助了'。

I wanted to help her. So I went to the church immediately after my classes and I helped her for several hours and she said, Thank you so much. Good looking out. She could say, Good looking out. Thank you so much for helping me, for your consideration, for your assistance.

Speaker 0

真是靠谱。明白了吗?很好。接下来是第一个例句。

Good looking out. You got it? Excellent. All right. Here's the first example sentence.

Speaker 0

谢谢提醒我开会的事。真是靠谱。下一个。'老兄真靠谱,我把钥匙落家里了'。

Thanks for reminding me about the meeting. Good looking out. Next. Good looking out, man. I forgot my keys at home.

Speaker 0

最后,她多带了把伞给我。真是靠谱。懂了吗?做得好。好了。

And finally, she brought an extra umbrella for me. Good looking out. You got it? Great job. All right.

Speaker 0

接下来是这个。又一个好词。'那必须的,开吃吧'。就在对方说完'真是靠谱'后,下一句就是'那必须的,开吃吧'。'那必须的'是什么意思?

Next we have this one. Another great one. Oh, no doubt, let's eat. Right after the person said good looking out, the next thing was, oh, no doubt, let's eat. What does no doubt mean?

Speaker 0

'那必须的'就是'当然'或'肯定'的意思。再强调下,就是'当然'或'肯定'。看看这些例句。开始了。'这绝对是镇上最好的披萨,那必须的'。

No doubt just means certainly or definitely. Again, certainly or definitely. Check out these example sentences. Here we go. No doubt, this is the best pizza in town.

Speaker 0

接下来,他无疑是这份工作的最佳人选。最后,我们在音乐会上一定会玩得很开心。明白了吗?太棒了。好的。

Next, he's no doubt the best candidate for the job. And finally, no doubt we'll have a great time at the concert. You got it? Excellent. Alright.

Speaker 0

现在让我们再听一遍对话。既然你们已经掌握了这些词汇和表达。开始了。这段对话是关于人们在餐厅点餐的。我们开始吧。

So now let's check out the conversation again. Now that you know the words and expressions. Here we go. Again, the conversation between these individuals all about ordering food at a restaurant. Here we go.

Speaker 0

你觉得这里什么看起来不错?我倾向于选意大利面。你呢?我在想披萨可能是个不错的选择。你尝过吗?

So what looks good to you here? I'm leaning towards the spaghetti. You? I'm thinking the pizza might be the move. Ever tried it?

Speaker 0

没有,我还没这个口福。好吃吗?哦,绝对好吃。非常正宗。

No. I haven't had the pleasure. Is it good? Oh, absolutely. It's legit.

Speaker 0

强烈推荐。好吧。你说服我了。我们就点披萨吧。多谢推荐。

Highly recommend. Alright. You sold me. Let's go with the pizza. Good looking out.

Speaker 0

没问题。开动吧。现在你们完全理解这段对话的内容了吧?接下来我们要听第三段对话。另一个自然真实的英语对话。

No doubt. Let's eat. So now you understand everything that was said in that part of the conversation, right? Now it's time to go to the third conversation. Another natural and real English conversation.

Speaker 0

那我们开始吧。这段对话是关于问路的,这是很常见的情况。嘿,抱歉打扰你,我想找图书馆。哦,完全没关系。沿着这条路直走,到下个街区左转。

So here we go. This conversation is about asking for directions, something that happens very often. Hey, sorry to bother you, but I'm trying to find the library. Oh, no problem at all. Just go straight down this way, then hang a left at the next block.

Speaker 0

直走然后左转。明白了。需要走很远吗?不用,就在拐角处,最多五分钟。

Straight and then a left. Got it. Is it a bit of a walk? Not really. It's just around the corner, maybe five minutes tops.

Speaker 0

太棒了。非常感谢。真的帮大忙了。别客气,祝你那边玩得开心。

Awesome. Thanks so much. Really appreciate it. Don't mention it. Enjoy your time over there.

简短对话却包含这么多新表达,这么多你需要理解的新单词和短语才能进行真实英语对话。让我们从第一个开始,确保你理解如何正确使用它。'抱歉打扰一下'。嘿,抱歉打扰一下,我在找图书馆。再说一次,嘿,抱歉打扰一下,我在找图书馆。

Short conversation but so many new expressions, so many new words and phrases that you need to understand to have this real life English conversation. Let's get started with the very first one to make sure you understand how to use it properly. Sorry to bother you. Hey, sorry to bother you, but I'm trying to find the library. Again, Hey, sorry to bother you, but I'm trying to find the library.

Speaker 0

'抱歉打扰一下'。这只是礼貌地为打断他人而道歉的方式。也许他们在走路,也许在打电话,也许正和别人交谈,但你确实需要打断他们。礼貌的说法就是'抱歉打扰一下'。为打断他人而礼貌道歉的方式。

Sorry to bother you. This just means a polite way to apologize for interrupting someone. Maybe they were walking, maybe they were on their cell phone, maybe they were having a conversation with someone else, but you really needed to interrupt them. The polite way of saying this is sorry to bother you. A polite way to apologize for interrupting someone.

Speaker 0

这是第一个例句:'抱歉打扰一下,能占用您一分钟时间吗?'下一个:'抱歉打扰一下,能帮我个忙吗?'最后:'抱歉打扰一下,我有个小问题想问。'

Here's the first example sentence. Sorry to bother you, but do you have a minute to talk? Next. Sorry to bother you, but could you help me with this? And finally, sorry to bother you, but I need to ask a quick question.

Speaker 0

明白了吗?很好。接下来对话中出现的表达是:'哦,完全没关系'。

You got it? Excellent. All right. The next thing that came up during the conversation. Oh, no problem at all.

Speaker 0

'哦,完全没关系'。'完全没关系'只是礼貌地表示某事并不麻烦。'嘿,没事的。不用道歉。完全没关系。'

Oh, no problem at all. No problem at all just is a polite response indicating that something was not an inconvenience. Hey, it's all good. You don't have to apologize. No problem at all.

Speaker 0

不麻烦,完全没问题。这是第一个例句。你能帮我搬一下这张桌子吗?哦,完全没问题。

No inconvenience. No problem at all. Here's the first example sentence. Can you help me move this table? Oh, no problem at all.

Speaker 0

接着,谢谢你借书给我。嘿,完全没问题。最后,能把盐递给我吗?好的,完全没问题。这些表达非常常用,我希望你能掌握并运用。

Next, thanks for lending me your book. Hey, no problem at all. And finally, could you pass me the salt? Yeah, no problem at all. Very commonly used and I want you to adapt and adopt these expressions.

Speaker 0

我们继续下一个在指路对话中出现的表达。沿着这条路直走,然后在下一个街区左转。再重复一遍:沿着这条路直走,然后在下一个街区左转。左转。挂个左转。

Let's move on to the next one again that came up during the conversation as they were giving directions. Just go straight down this way then hang a left at the next block. Again, just go straight down this way, then hang a left at the next block. Hang a left. Hang something.

Speaker 0

这是什么意思?这是'左转'的非正式说法。挂个左转、向左转、左转。挂个右转、右转。两种都可以用。

What does this mean? An informal way to say turn left. Hang a left, take a left, turn left. Hang a right, turn right. You can use both.

Speaker 0

'挂个左转'就是'左转'的口语表达。第一个例句:在十字路口挂个左转。明白了吗?下一个:你会看到一个大的标志,在那里挂个左转。

Hang a left just is an informal way to say turn left. Here's the first example sentence. At the intersection, hang a left. You got it? Next, you'll see a big sign, hang a left there.

Speaker 0

最后一个:经过加油站后,挂个左转进入停车场。看到这个表达有多简单了吧?挂个左转。现在当别人在对话中使用时你就不会困惑了。下一个表达也很实用。

And finally, after the gas station, hang a left into the parking lot. You see how easy it is to use this expression? Hang a left. Now you won't be confused when someone uses this during a conversation. The next one is also a good one.

Speaker 0

开始了。直走然后左转。明白了。要走一段路吗?再问一次,要走一段路吗?

Here we go. Straight and then a left. Got it. Is it a bit of a walk? Again, is it a bit of a walk?

Speaker 0

‘a bit of’是什么意思?它表示少量或轻微程度。少量或轻微程度。举个例子:我的茶里能加一点糖吗?

What does a bit of mean? This just means a small amount or slight degree. A small amount or slight degree. Here's an example sentence using this term. Can I have a bit of sugar in my tea?

Speaker 0

不要太多,适量就好。我的茶里能加一点糖吗?接下来,日程安排上有点混乱。最后,他对这个项目表现出了一点兴趣。明白了吗?

Not too much, just the right amount. Can I have a bit of sugar in my tea? Next, there's a bit of confusion about the schedule. And finally, he showed a bit of interest in the project. You got it?

Speaker 0

很好。再强调一次,‘a bit of’。接下来这个词组你可能听过也可能没听过。现实生活中可能没听过,但可能在书里见过。注意听。

Excellent. Again, a bit of. Now this next one, you might have heard it before and you might not have. You may not have heard this in real life conversation, but you may have seen it in a book. Here we go.

Speaker 0

其实不远,就在拐角处。其实不远。就在拐角处。‘around the corner’是什么意思?就是非常近或附近的意思。

Not really, it's just around the corner. Not really. It's just around the corner. What does around the corner mean? Very close or nearby.

Speaker 0

就是这个意思。非常近或附近。看这些例句:咖啡店就在拐角处。其次,她的办公室在主入口拐角处。

That's all it means. Very close or nearby. So check out these example sentences. The coffee shop is just around the corner. Next, her office is around the corner from the main entrance.

Speaker 0

最后,你要找的书店就在拐角处。明白了吗?很好。紧接着我们刚说的,还有个表达。

And finally, the bookstore you're looking for is around the corner. You got it? Excellent. All right. And right after we said that, there was another expression.

Speaker 0

其实不远,就在拐角处,最多五分钟路程。再说一次,最多五分钟。这个表达的关键——哇,差点咬到舌头——关键在于‘tops’。‘five minutes tops’意思就是不超过五分钟。

Not really, it's just around the corner, maybe five minutes tops. Again, maybe five minutes tops. The key to this expression, whoo, that was a tongue twister. The key to this expression is tops. So five minutes tops just means no longer than five minutes.

Speaker 0

我可以说最多十分钟,不会超过十分钟。最多三十分钟,不会超过三十分钟。用英语说就是tops。明白了吗?很好。

I could say ten minutes tops, no longer than ten minutes. Thirty minutes tops, no longer than thirty minutes. In English tops. You got it? Good.

Speaker 0

看看这些例句。我最多五分钟就能准备好。这是在强调,嘿,不会超过这个时间。接下来,去商店最多走五分钟。最后,我们最多五分钟就能到车站。

Check out these example sentences. I'll be ready in five minutes tops. It's kind of emphasizing, hey, no longer than this amount of time. Next, the walk to the store is five minutes tops. And finally, we'll arrive at the station in five minutes tops.

Speaker 0

明白了吗?太棒了。好的。然后结束对话时这样说:嘿,不用谢。祝你那边玩得开心。

You got it? Excellent. All right. And then wrapping up the conversation, this was said, Hey, don't mention it. Enjoy your time over there.

Speaker 0

再说一次,不用谢。祝你那边玩得开心。“不用谢”是什么意思?我们什么时候用?它的意思就是“不客气”。

Again, don't mention it. Enjoy your time over there. What does don't mention it mean? When do we use it? It just means you're welcome.

Speaker 0

这没什么大不了的。再说一次,意思就是“不客气”。这没什么。不用谢。所以看看这些例句。

It was no problem. Again, it just means you're welcome. It was no problem. Don't mention it. So check out these example sentences.

Speaker 0

谢谢你的帮助。不用谢。下一个例子。感谢你的建议。嘿,不用谢。

Thanks for the help. Don't mention it. Next example. I appreciate your advice. Hey, don't mention it.

Speaker 0

最后,谢谢你来接我。不用谢。我们再说一遍,意思就是“不客气”。完全没问题。不用谢。

And finally, thanks for picking me up. Don't mention it. Now what we're saying again is just you're welcome. There was no problem at all. Don't mention it.

Speaker 0

明白了吗?太好了。好的,现在既然你已经掌握了这些词汇和表达,让我们再回顾一下对话。再次强调,这段对话是关于问路的,里面有很多新的短语和表达。

Got it? Excellent. All right. Now let's go back and check out the conversation again now that you know the words and expressions. Again, this conversation is about asking for directions and there were so many new phrases and expressions.

Speaker 0

再重复一次:嘿,抱歉打扰你,我想找图书馆。哦,没问题。沿着这条路直走,到下个路口左转。好的,直走然后左转。明白了。

Once again, Hey, sorry to bother you, but I'm trying to find the library. Oh, no problem at all. Just go straight down this way, then hang a left at the next block. Okay, straight and then a left. Got it.

Speaker 0

需要走很远吗?不用,就在拐角处,最多五分钟。太棒了,非常感谢。

Is it a bit of a walk? Not really. It's just around the corner, maybe five minutes tops. Awesome. Thanks so much.

Speaker 0

真的很感谢。不客气,祝你玩得开心。你记住了对吧?太好了。

Really appreciate it. Don't mention it. Enjoy your time over there. You got it, right? Excellent.

Speaker 0

现在我希望你能尝试运用这些新学的表达、词汇和短语,这样你就能像英语母语者一样说英语了。我们下次再聊。你还在听吗?你知道现在是什么时间。故事时间到了。

Now I want you to try to use these new expressions and words and phrases that you learned and so you, so that you will be able to speak English like a native English speaker. I'll talk to you next time. You still there? You know what time it is. It's story time.

Speaker 0

嘿,嘿,嘿。我说现在是故事时间。好吧,我想给你们讲讲我刚到韩国时发生的一件事。我刚到韩国时一句韩语都不会说。

Hey, hey, hey. I said it's story time. All right. So I wanna tell you about something that happened when I was in South Korea, when I first got to Korea. I could not speak any Korean when I first got to Korea.

Speaker 0

如果你是刚来的,我现在会说韩语。我在韩国生活了十年,这就是我成为英语老师的经历。初到韩国时,我正在接收课程信息,参加新生培训,他们给我们介绍了许多韩国新食物。我当时吃得很开心,食物非常美味。

If you're new here, I do speak Korean. I lived in Korea for ten years. That's how I became an English teacher. So when I first got to Korea, I was getting all the information about our classes, we're going through orientation, and they were introducing us to many new foods in Korea. So I was enjoying the food, the food was delicious.

Speaker 0

但他们告诉我们一件事,如果你是素食者,对吧,你需要学会这句话。对吧?现在我不吃火腿。我其实是素食者,基本上是纯素食。

But they told us one thing, if you are a vegetarian, right, you need to learn this phrase. Right? Now I don't eat ham. I'm actually a vegetarian. I'm vegan basically.

Speaker 0

他们说,火腿,不管你不想要什么,就是那个东西然后加上'paego'。对吧?这在韩语里是'去掉'的意思。对吧?所以我说,好的,ham paego。

They said, ham, whatever you don't want, it's that thing and then paego. Right? It means take out in Korean. Right? So I said, okay, ham paego.

Speaker 0

对吧?我记得去餐厅时,一进餐厅就会说'ham paego'。就像一拿到菜单准备点餐时,我就会说'janpego',意思是请去掉。这还是我唯一会说的短语,对吧?

Right? So I remember going to restaurants. And as soon as I got in the restaurants, I would say, ham paego. Like as soon as I got the menu and I told them what I wanted to order, I would say, janpego, like please take it out. This is again the only phrase I knew, right?

Speaker 0

我不知道完整的句子,只会说'janpego',对吧?但我开始反复使用这个表达,直到它变成第二天性。进餐厅时甚至不用思考就会脱口而出。我之所以告诉你这些,是因为你在学习英语时,在复习过程中会学到很多东西,对吧?如果你能持续重温学过的内容,强化记忆,不断练习重复。

I didn't know the full sentence, I only could say janpego, right? But I started using that expression over and over and over and over again, to the point it became second nature. I didn't even have to think about it when I went into a restaurant. I wanted to tell you this because as you're learning English, as you're studying, as you're reviewing things, you're going to learn many things, right? If you continue to reiterate things you've learned, emphasize things you've learned, practice, repeat.

Speaker 0

重复会对你大有帮助,直到它变成你的第二天性。今天我们看了真实生活中的英语对话。也许有你喜欢的表达或短语。抓住那个短语反复练习,在和别人交流时使用它。

Repetition will help you so much so that it'll become second nature to you. We looked at real life English conversations today. Maybe there was an expression you liked or a phrase you liked. Take that phrase and repeat it over and over again. Take that phrase and use it when you're speaking with somebody else.

Speaker 0

当它变得像第二天性后,就可以转向下一个短语了。这个故事很短,只是我用韩语表达的一个简单经历。但我想确保你理解重复和使用所学内容的重要性。下次再聊。

Once it becomes like second nature, move on to the next phrase. Now this story was very short, just a simple situation that happened to me using a Korean expression. But I wanna make sure you understand the importance of repetition and using what you learn. I'll talk to you next time.
